Guest Reviews
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment and the decor was great It got a little toasty and the L goes by a lot
- Rowe (10/5): Exceptional - The property was easy to find and very comfy! Everyone in my group loved it!
- Claudette (8/5): Very nice. Recommend for a girls trip! - We loved that this had a very feminine feel to it which was perfect for our girls trip! The Owners were very good and communicating mack to me about our needs and worked with me to get us an early check-in. They even dropped off more blankets and pillows to ensure we had enough during our stay! The Train is right next to this building so if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you or make sure you bring ear plugs.
- Alicia (10/5): Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our bachelorette party weekend in the city! - Loved the theme of the property. It was perfect for a girls trip and within walking distance to all type of restaurants. The hosts were kind enough to leave soaps in the shower. & The living room bed was surprisingly the most comfortable in the house. Overall it was a 10/10! The only thing I can think to mention is that 2 of the 3 remotes were missing batteries and it took some time figuring out how to get the tv on. Then took a while connecting the tv to WiFi, but the host was very quick to respond when asked for help.
- Pamela (4/5): Just OK would not come back. - The space inside and the bathrooms This property sits next to the train which is super loud. The property presents as 3 bedrooms - there are only 2 bedrooms. The wall paper is pealing, the washing machine/dryer does not fit in the cabinet and the cabinet hinge is broken. The trundle bed in the living room is broken - you can sit on the left side. The window in the main bedroom is very difficult to close and does not close completely. Despite the train sound this could be an OK place if some care is taken on those items mentioned above.
- Benjamin (7/5): We made it work, however it would have been nice to understand the privacy dynamics for our group staying there and a re - Very clean and centered in a great neighborhood The listing claim 3 bedrooms:
(2) Bedrooms with one queen in each
(1) Bedroom with (2) full size beds
Reality was:
(2) Bedrooms with one queen in each
(1) living room with a pull out bed and a single sleeper cot with a mattress.
A bit misleading in the sleeping accommodation description.
- Nunu (4/5): Disappointing - I didn’t like that I kept getting complaints and they weren’t even coming from me I kept having to get up multiple times because the police kept coming. I didn’t get to enjoy my stay I had to get up and leave because they were ruining my sleep and I had to be at the airport really early. I didn’t get my moneys worth and it was some things broken I took pictures of and everything. I wish I can get half a refund or something because I thought I was really going to enjoy my stay
- Sureyya (9/5): excellent support from the landlord. A very nice balcony which will be great in the summer. - Location excellent, very friendly neighbourhood. One minute from the subway station. nothing really.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jaylen (8/5): Very good -
- Carla (7/5): Good - The esthetics of the property is gorgeous. It’s also very spacious. The day bed was broken and it smelled of cigarette smoke.
- Omer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Macías (5/5): Passable -
- Abhinav (8/5): Nice place, would recommend for a 6 person group - The place was aesthetically pleasing. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom had regular sized toiletries.
Overall the arrangement was great! The place is right next to a train track. You can hear it a little when the train is crossing thru that station.
This place is listed for 8 members, but has 2 separate bedrooms and the hall + kitchen is a single big space.
I think it can only accommodate 6 people comfortably.
- Shiloh (10/5): Enjoyable would definitely book again! - I would highly recommend this stay for any family looking for a wonderful relaxation full of amenities…. The host was awesome and very easy to communicate with no hassle at all 🙌very clean and looks exactly as is in the pictures…. Look no further can’t get no better than this Bucktown suite!
- Kurtz (10/5): Quaint stay in Chicago! - It’s near the train line!! It’s a great location. It’s spacious. The hosts responded quickly. It’s quaintly decorated. The trains go all night. I still slept great though!!
- Blair (9/5): Superb - The process of booking and checking in, couldn't have been simpler.
The place was very cute. Nice decor and amenities. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable to sit on, specifically the day bed.
The bed that I slept on was okay. It was just a simple foam mattress, I think.
The big disappointment was that there was a Keurig coffee maker and even K-cups...awesome! But, there weren't any coffee cups/mugs to be found. So, we had to go out and buy coffee, even though we had brought our own K-Cups. Small thing, but big for coffee drinkers. Lol. There was every other kitchenware at our disposal. We just couldn't find any mugs.
In all, the price is excellent for the quality of this apartment.
- Laurie (10/5): Cute apartment! Highly recommend it. It was a great value and option when visiting the Chicago area. Would definitely st - The apartment was conveniently located next to the train station, which we used every day. There were plenty of beds with enough room for our group of 5. Having two bathrooms and two separate bedrooms (one was a master bedroom) was a MAJOR plus. (The third “bedroom” listed with 2 full beds was actually the living room, so I don’t consider it a bedroom.) Although we didn’t use the kitchen to cook, it was nice to have the extra space and fridge for snacks. The owners were good at responding to messages. The property was clean and priced great. Although the location was convenient being right next to the train, this also meant it was loud as the trains run day and night. If you’re not using public transit, this may be more of a deal breaker. We were glad for the location, so the loud trains didn’t bother us. (Earplugs or a white noise app may be helpful if you’re sensitive).
