Guest Reviews
- Mark (9/5): -
- Peter (10/5): - The accommodation was easy to find thanks to information given by hosts. The accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable and in a quiet area. Nothing
- HX Fitness (10/5): - It was so cosy, good space, can fit lots of people, feels like home. Location is great, the owner was very helpful and good at communication. It was a smooth stay, couldn't be better, just what we needed. Nothing
- Heidi (8/5): Good size accommodation - This property was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding down the road and more family staying nearby. Beds comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Not enough towels provided. We had our own and we didn’t wish to annoy owners when we found this out. Insufficient bedding also. We made it work. Outside area could do with a spruce up. Maybe a sign near the turn off onto dirt road. Wow road noise, who would’ve thought.
- Maiko (8/5): - Quiet and clean 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms house was good for our needs. We stayed 4 people each one had own room. The owner was friendly and helpful. Only 10min drive to Busselton town centre. Old house under Reno. But not bad.
- Nhoc An (9/5): - Super friendly owner
- Gawthayu (9/5): Was great! - Quite NA
- Robyn (6/5): - Close to town. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Probably nice property when not so dry and dusty. Pool area was very run down which was very disappointing. Dog droppings on lawn. Only 2 towels supplied for booking for 4 and no towels for pool use. Had to ring for more towels. Outdoor furniture was rusty and not clean. Came back to house being sprayed by pest control without any advice from owners. Said they thought we had already left even though our booking was confirmed.
- John (9/5): Spacious rural property close to town - The property was in a lovely rural location but only ten minutes from Busselton town. It was really spacious, so our family of six could spread out and be in different areas doing different things. The bonus of a little swimming pool to play in was great for the kids! The owners were on site nearby and couldn't be more helpful.
- Andrej (9/5): - Very roomy. Clean. Lots of kitchen appliances, brand new as well. Big rooms. Very friendly hosts.
- Bennell (10/5): It’s was comfortable relaxing everything thank you so much - Everything about it Nothing
- Julia (8/5): - Location was perfect, accommodation clean and super comfortable. Would visit again.
- Denice (10/5): -
- Buddhi (9/5): - Spacious place
- Claire (7/5): Value for money, basic, ideal for a family as it is the middle of the tuart Forrest. - Very spacious, Hard to find , needs better signage to direct you in.. it’s not obvious in the day so must be a nightmare at night.
- NualaM (1/5): Extremely disappointing stay – unsafe and unclean environment - Nothing Our family booked Tuhearts Family Stay for one night (4 adults, 3 children and a small dog) expecting a clean, family-friendly home as described. Unfortunately, the reality was very different.
On arrival, the property appeared neglected — long grass up to the porch, cobwebs and spiders around the entrance, and a pool that was dirty and unusable (one of the main reasons we booked). Inside, although the beds were made, we found spiders, centipedes, and cobwebs in every room, including ceilings and floors.
At around 10pm a spider crawled across one of us on the couch, which was the final straw. With young children and a dog, it felt completely unsafe to stay overnight.
We left the property at 11pm, after driving more than two and a half hours to get there — and another two and a half hours home. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but the conditions made the stay impossible.
While the owners later claimed that insects are part of the “forest environment,” this level of infestation and lack of cleanliness goes well beyond what should be acceptable for paying guests.
We have over 50 photos documenting the condition of the property. We would strongly advise families or anyone expecting a clean, comfortable, and safe environment to look elsewhere.
- Nilesh kishorbhai (10/5): -
- Vern (10/5): We’ll definitely keep this property on our list to stay again when we’re next in the region. - There’s plenty of room & great facilities
- Kurt (5/5): - Found deceased mouse under a couch which made the living room smell. Was very unclear where the actual house was, didn’t realise there was multiple homes so we had to drive around a while and bring up google earth images to find where everything was.
- Alison (8/5): Family getaway - Great for a larger family or group. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen facilities were really good.
- Darryl (9/5): -
- Dinith Thathsarindu (10/5): -
- Afrah (9/5): -
- Cheyanne (10/5): - I loved that it was set up with all the basics you would need on a family holiday and the fact our children got to run around outside on the beautiful property and surrounding bush.
- Syed Muzaffar (9/5): Wonderful holiday accomodation in a serene setting - Beautiful location in a very quiet place. Loved the country atmosphere! Some TLC required.
- Aadesh (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (10/5): Extremely comfortable for a small group - near perfect - An extremely comfortable venue for a small group. Everyone commented on the comfort of their beds. It has everything you could need, including lots of room to spread out. Many new quality appliances etc in the large kitchen. Owners are nearby and very helpful and friendly. Very minor - but the kitchen dining area can be cool unless you light a fire in the fireplace.
- Tadgh (8/5): Very good -
- Christina (9/5): Great value for money and even better hosts. Comfortable and homily - Great value for money. Certainly not a high end luxury accommodation however it was clean the beds were super comfortable and beautiful location on the outskirts of Busselton which provide a private secluded environment however just a short drive to town where you will find amazing beaches cafes and amenities.
Paul and Joy were amazing hosts and catered for our every need. To note was the convenience of having everything on the one floor. It was difficult to secure accommodation suitable for our family travelling ages over 70 years. This place was homely and comfortable.
On a side note we attended Dome cafe which is associated with Joy and it was amazing, great choice of food drinks and sweets. I would recommend both Tuhearts and Dome Cafe. Tuhearts is not overly flash but ticks all the boxes for comfort, amenities and budget and convenience to some beautiful tourist locations along the coast.
- Vincent (8/5): It was pleasurable and homey - The homey feel of the house It’s quite showing the age of the house and can use a little bit of upgrades, specifically the living room.
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional - Close to Busselton, but far enough away that it was peaceful. Large area to explore, the dog loved walking around the property in the morning. Home is spacious and well appointed. Sister in Law dibsed the Master Bedroom, meaning we had to share the bathroom with the kid.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Had a wonderful time there. Spacious rooms and kitchen with good facilities. Great value for money.
- Asanga (10/5): Exceptional - Plenty of room for the kids to play around and to accommodate our group. Nice place - clean, calm and quiet surrounding area. Facilities are up to the expectations.
- Kaur (7/5): Good -
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Bernie (10/5): Highly recommended - Homely clean spacious comfortable beds close proximity to Busselton great for doggies too private hosts nearby too Liked everything
- Anastasia (7/5): Good -
- Pramila (10/5): Overall stay was really good. -
- Sarbajit (9/5): Excellent and enjoyable - Excellent place need some minor touch ups to make it perfect. But overall very good.
- Allen (9/5): Superb -
- Roslyn (8/5): Very good - Peaceful
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Very welcoming and accommodating. Co located with main house but you have alot of space and very private as it is in a rural setting off the main road. Would suit a couple, family or group as you have a whole house yourself, so has pretty much everything you would need, nicely furnished including two massive TV screens.Great value for money.. As they have only just listed it, a few minor things needed fixing, which I've let Paul know about, and they didn't have a house rule or instruction booklet, but I believe that's all coming.
