- Drew (10/5): Perfect low cost stay for anyone wanting to explore brilliant ballycastle - Loads of snacks provided in kitchen! Mountain view was lovely. Place was clean as a whistle.
- Ruth (10/5): Relaxed friendly place - Lovely peaceful location
Friendly host Irene very helpful use of kitchen and breakfast options provided
- Titilayo (9/5): -
- Jozef (6/5): - De ligging.
- Palumbo-Martin (8/5): Comfy stay but note no WiFi for those who need it! - Super cosy room and comfy beds, heat works well and having a separate shower and toilet were helpful since they are shared bathrooms. Heat worked great and room was nice and warm No wifi, and the room I booked advertised a tv while the others didn’t, so I assumed it would be in the room, but it was the shared tv downstairs
- GRACE (10/5): Lovely accommodation, clean and comfortable, close to the town and other attractions. - The host provided free breakfast cereal and bread, tea coffee etc.
There was a lovely view of the hills.
Very clean and warm accommodation. The land lady was very kind and attentive.

Beautiful kitchen with coffee, tea, condiments and snacks.
Host was gracious and helpful
- Stephen (10/5): - great hosts, fine accommodations and delicious breakfast!
- Massimo (8/5): - Struttura molto accogliente e funzionale a poca distanza dal centro. Ottima attenzione da parte della titolare. Manca il wi fi che effettivamente è oggi necessario.
- Donal (9/5): - Good location for the town of Bally castle. Host very accommodating.
- Louise (10/5): - Very clean ,even toiletries in the bathroom. Very quiet and a short walk to the harbour. And the staff Very friendly and helpful.
- Sydney (10/5): - Lovely house with lovely owner and great facilities, everything you would need for a weekend away.
- Emma (10/5): - No one else booked a room so we had the house to ourselves which was nice. Great parking and good location near town. Property was very clean and there was some tea we enjoyed. I also really appreciated the washer! Host did not send arrival instructions in advance so when we showed up, we had to wait around for an hour to get in contact with her to get the lockbox code. She was very sweet and apologetic over the phone though so it was okay.
- Kathy (7/5): A pleasant bedroom in a modest private house. - Clean accommodation and good location on edge of town. Rural views from front bedrooms. Shared use of kitchen with washing facilities plus some food one could use for breakfast. It is a bedroom in a regular mid 20th century terraced 3 bed estate house sharing one bathroom with two other bedrooms. Luckily the other residents were quiet!
- Peter (4/5): Not Booking.com’s normal standard. - Crowded in the sense of small, dated room with limited facilities. Shared bathroom lock was somewhat insufficient.!!!
- Henry (10/5): -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nona (8/5): Very good - Irene stocked in cereal, milk, juice and fresh fruit for breakfast and I was able to do a load of laundry, which were very helpful. The kitchen, living room and bathroom were very clean, and the location was convenient to accessing the ferry to Rathlin Island and the Causeway Coast, which were the purpose of my trip.
- Slater (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was fantastic. Perfect location
- Peter (9/5): Open 2025 Portrush - It was just like home. As a solo traveller here for the Open at Portrush it was perfect after a long day travelling. Nothing
- Mervyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasper (8/5): Very good -
- Mullen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gorman (4/5): Disappointing - Accomodatiom clean ,bed comfortable Noise levels very bad from upstairs on several occasions over the night, sounded like furniture being moved, very heavy footed person or people, woken up three times with noise, person in kitchen at 4am cooking banging amd making a lot of noise and then bangs the front door on leaving after 4am in the morning, have made a complaint to both owner and booking.com, absolute disgrace
- Ian (10/5): Very friendly and helpful host Irene. - Use of a kitchen and living room plus ample parking. Close to the town centre. Comfortable bed and good shower. Nothing.
- Quinn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aine (9/5): I stayed two nights. Visted the Giant’s Causeway & Rathlin Island & the Rope Bridge all very closeby. Taise hous - The house is clean & cosy & quiet. Bed is comfy. Cereals & tea & toast available for breakfast. Nothing
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Zuzanna (7/5): Nice place - The lady, Irene, even though I didn't meet her in person, was very hospitable, she'd check in on me to make sure all is well.
I was lucky that I was the only guest in the house so I had the full uninterrupted use of all the facilities. After hours of hiking I also had a great night sleep - it was quiet and the bed was comfortable and warm.
The kitchen was well supplied, the shower nice and hot.
It was also a decent price compared to other available accommodation in the area. No WiFi (did not bother me as I have my own data, but may be a problem for other visitors). The place could use a good hoover round, otherwise all was good.
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - Great location in Ballycastle, only a quick walk from the town. Irene is lovely and gave us a very warm welcome. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom was very clean.
- Harry (9/5): Superb - Great location, the host was very friendly and check-in was smooth
- Herath (9/5): I really recommend - It was lovely. Clean and tidy. Found everything I need. Friendly service. None
- Ion (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - It was convenient for you stay Unfortunately while we were there the electrics were faulty and power kept cutting off, the owner did everything to rectify the situation she was very apologetic for the situation and had a electrician.
- Teresa (10/5): Excellent - I ended up staying in another of the properties, but they were both clean and comfortable, and Itene, the owner, is lovely and hospitable.
- Pierre (10/5): Exceptional - Nice people and very well located À little bit cold
- Patrick (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (5/5): Has potential but if the heat will be on a timer, make sure the clock is set correctly - Location and view Could not get the heat working. Very cold.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carole (6/5): Ballycastle 1 - It was clean and good value for money and the location was good. The bed was only suitable for a single person and some of the towels were very smelly like they hadn't been washed.
- Vantanee (8/5): Very good - Overall quite impressed with facilities the land lady takes good care of customer nice and cleanliness.
Thank you None
- Casey (3/5): Reasonable price for a house; expensive for the hostel-like quality. - Location was decent. Price was not bad considering availability. The entire accommodation was clean. Toiletries were included (soap, toilet paper, towels). Communication with the host was inconsistent - host was late to check us in. Accommodation was too cramped for the number of other guests (no less than 6 people sharing one bathroom with a broken lock). Generally felt overcrowded. No less than 8 guests (closer to 10) crammed into 4 rooms. Our room did not match the photos at all. The double room could not fit two people standing up at the same time; the room was stuffy and hot. No WiFi options at all, paid or otherwise. No semblance of "house rules" - leftover food left on plates on tables and countertops in the common areas.
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Katrin (1/5): There was no stay at all - I booked a property that was fully booked
- Hugh (7/5): Good value for money - Had a shared lounge and kitchen and washing machine The room needed a renovation by was adequate
- John (8/5): Very good - Lovely staff and clean accommodation
- Slater (9/5): Superb -
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and clean
- Louise (6/5): Pleasant -
