Guest Reviews
- Kolman (9/5): - Personnel a l écoute, bonne ambiance, beaucoup d activités a faire ( quad, excursion en 4&4, promenade en dromadaire exceptionnel).
- Dumitru (10/5): Our guide Said made our Sahara trip unforgettable. - Everything.
Very nice staff.
We enjoyed the desert.
- Leonarda (10/5): Exceptional - We Had amazing time at this luxury camp. The team is very friendly always there to help you. The activities are wonderful
- Joanna (10/5): Great camp, location perfect, service personel very friendly - Worth taking camel transfer to the camp and 4x4 return, both journeys very exciting and unforgetable. Lunch before the transfer must be taken at the meeting point - Les Pyramides camping site - delicious food.
- Tudor (4/5): Disappointing - Unique location, friendly staff We had quite an uncomfortable stay here, extremely cold during the night, only ice cold water with very low pressure. Nothing pleasant, more like a survival night. We firstly booked two nights, but left after the first one as we got sick from the cold, but we were still charged for the two nights.
- Laura (10/5): Amazing! -
- Archie (4/5): Disappointing - Staff were okay but limited English. Decent views. But surrounded by other camps. Doesn't feel that remote or deserty I understand it's in the desert. but bedding is covered in sand. And so many hidden costs. 2 nights ended up costing over 200 euros with a day out. Wasn't told about the charge of the camel ride. Food was ridiculously priced at 15 euros for dinner. And not really good enough. Big portion. Poor quality. The tent had no windows. So once inside you can't see out
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Just fantastic, all went as planned.
We met Said in Merzuga, we left the car in a safe place in a camping.
As agreed he took us with a 4*4 across the dunes to the camp.
The tent was well equiped and nicely decorated, private bathroom with hot water, towels, etc...
There are nice chilling spaces around the camp and you can walk, or do any of the activities offered in the area, camel rides, quad biking etc...
The staff was nice to us to make us feel comfortable.
Dinner was lovely and also had a good breakfast.
There are many camps in the area, I can't compare but our stay was great. We booked un advance and got really good value for money without any surprises. I would go there again in another visit.
- Holger (10/5): Luxurious experience in the Merzouga dunes - We were impressed by the room(/tent). It was beautiful and luxurious, with a working private bathroom and a comfortable spacious bed. Our host Said was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a sunset camel ride through the dunes organized by Said (25€ per person). We can also really recommend a hike up the beautiful dunes. Overall a great stay 😊♥️ Keep in mind, the price is a little higher than you expect. For example, a meal is 15€/person and transfers are 60€ (return). However, still great value in a luxury camp (breakfast is included), just be prepared to pay a bit more than it seems on booking and bring enough cash.
- Sanae (10/5): A dream trip, paradise on earth - Thanks to Mr. Saeed for your hospitality and patience. He provided us with all the comforts. The herbs are wonderful. The 4\4 drive trip was wonderful in the sands. Dar ganawa, the car showroom. Anything you need is met in the blink of an eye and with joy. My daughters enjoyed a lot.The breakfast is varied for all tastes. For me, it is complete because I am a lover of olives and olive oil. The tea is also wonderful. Breakfast in the middle of golden sand with a desert session,a paradise. There is also a restaurant equipped with all the details,Madfouna with meat is very delicious yami yami ..The tents are very clean, toilets and showers, hot water is available, very clean sheets...thank you ismail for your wonderful service and your patience. The food is like a five-star hotel, especially the cooking of vegetables and tagines. Also, the salads are wonderful. all good for me, I was looking for calm and clarity of mind. I practiced my meditation.reading my books, The sunset was amazing. The sunrise was also an unforgettable view. Riding a camel with Saeed, the elegant driver. He also took several pictures of us. Smiling, welcoming, helpful people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
- Amir (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location Beautiful, luxurious accommodations. Delicious breakfast. Possibility of parking your car safely. The desert was just outside the entrance of the hotel. Ideal for a single night in the desert. The accommodation is brand new and stunning. The pool is also spectacular. The individuals who work here are extremely kind and helpful. Beautiful dawn from the sand dunes. We highly suggest this location. Everything is was fantastic it's best place in the desert
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful - Fantastic top luxury camp! in excess of expectations! We received a spacious room that was like a giant tent, along with a really comfy bed, bathroom, and shower. It's spotless, cozy, and the cuisine is excellent and plentiful. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. We played the regional instruments after supper and danced at night.
It's an unusual experience to ride a camel. Even if you aren't the most daring person, you must live it! We rode camels to our destination and a jeep to return.
This location is highly recommended. Was super amazing 😍
- Mara (10/5): Never forget this desert experience - We chose the site since it is easily accessible by passenger car.
We really loved the services provided, which included a sunset camel ride, sandsurfing, and the option of being guided to local guides for various excursions.
The food is bountiful, and the entertainment in the evenings around the fire and beneath the sky is spectacular.
Also, don't be afraid to get up early to view the sunrise; it's well worth it.
- Mercedes (10/5): Fantastic desert experience - Fantastic camp. The employees are extremely polite and friendly, and they go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. We went on a quad excursion around sunset, which was a fantastic experience. We got up early for sunrise to ride camels to the middle of the dunes, which was amazing.
We had a lovely meal with wonderful food in the evening. After dinner, the campers played music and sang, and we all joined in for a little dance around the fire.
All in all, a truly unique experience! All fantastic
- Winona (10/5): Super amazing Camp - A lovely site to fulfill your desire to touch the Sahara. A well-equipped camp with sinks and showers just next to the dunes. Good food, pleasant and helpful host. We fell in love with sandboarding. Making music together at night is a unique experience. I propose a camel ride out into the desert. I want to go back there right now! We love everything
- Nadia (10/5): amazing desert experience - We booked one night and stayed two because there are friendly people, delicious foods for dinner and breakfast, everything is amazing, tent comfort beds warm has many blankets, beautiful place close to sanddunes, very quiet, we felt very comfortable and enjoying our beautiful days, the best weather, landscape colors around sanddunes from sunset and sunrise, highly recommend this accomodation We love everything 😍
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and well-organized stay. We enjoyed the 'camel' ride to the camp as well as a really enjoyable 4 hour 4x4 trip by guide Youssef, which included a visit to a desert Berber home and an amazing local meal. There was a great dinner and breakfast at the camp, live music, and the tent was well-equipped with nice beds. It is highly recommended that you stay here!
- Tania (10/5): Fantastic desert experience - This was an unforgettable experience. It was an extremely well-organized tour. Youssef communicated with us promptly and thoroughly from the start. We met him outside the desert and parked our car in a secure location. We next went camel trekking for an hour with our guide Ali, who was really polite and attentive for their camels as well as a terrific photographer. We arrived at the desert camp just in time for the most spectacular sunset. The supper was delicious, the rooms were cozy, the showers, the campfire, and the music and dance contributed to the enjoyment of this fantastic experience. I really suggest it. We love everything 😍
- Mariana (10/5): Wonderful desert experience - I liked how easy it was to meet up and travel to camp. We were given the option of taking a camel ride or a 4x4 car to the camp; we chose the camel, and it was well worth it! Youssef was extremely pleasant and helpful! The rooms were spotless and lovely! We are quite pleased with our experience. We recommend this Camp if you wish to have an authentic desert experience. Everything was amazing 😍
- Luiza (10/5): Amazing - This camp outperformed all expectations! The beauty of the Sahara Desert is amazing, and our stay at the camp allowed us to thoroughly immerse ourselves in it. The hosts were really welcoming and made us feel like family. We were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and cookies, and the warmth continued throughout our stay. The tents were cozy and clean, and the common areas were well-kept. The nighttime Berber music performance, which created a wonderful mood under the starlit sky, was the highlight. I'd return in a heartbeat!" Nothing
- Siryana (10/5): Exceptional - very nice camp, clean and comfortable tents, shower in the desert,a diverse breakfast and dinner.

- Charlena (10/5): Super amazing 😍 - Merzouga is a lovely place! All of my expectations were exceeded by the camp. The setting was breathtaking, with beautiful views of the Sahara Desert. The camel trip to the camp was an adventure in and of itself. The camp itself was lovely, and the cuisine was wonderful. Traditional music and dance provided true evening entertainment. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. Nothing!!

- Mechlle (10/5): Amazing adventure - It was a fantastic stay for me and my companions in one of the camp's tents. They planned an incredible stay for us, involving camel rides, dinner, a night bonfire with drums and music, sandboarding, and scary desert driving on the way back. The team is fantastic, pleasant, and extremely helpful! I have no regrets. Morocco's best memories! It was all great !
- Jeanmark (1/5): Beware with this desert camp!!! - We did book this camp and they send as to another one which basic and not the value of the money that we paid. The owner is not friendly at all and no explanation about our booking.
- Azddine (10/5): Never forget this night in my life the best night in Morocco - Youssef was a great host. He came to our rescue when we were lost. All staff were nice and friendly, they made sure we enjoyed our stay. We were highly entertained with music and dance by the lovely crew after our dinner. What a great way to end the night! We had un unforgettable experience watching the stars by the fire place at night! The tents are clean and have an amazing interior decoration. Just be prepared for the long drive to Merzouga and keep in mind that this is still desert, so the luxury is subjective.

We will undoubtedly return. All was excellent
- Carlon (9/5): Superb - This was the camp I chose for my night in the Merzouga desert, and it was a great choise. I booked a one-hour camel ride from Merzouga village to the camp, with a sunset stop in the middle of the dunes. The camp was simple, clean, and comfy, with a great tajine for dinner. After dinner, Said, my camel guide, and youssef, my camp host, played drums and informed me about the Berbers. I'd want to camp in the Sahara again, and I'm very sure I'd choose the same spot. Nothing
- Karen (10/5): We really enjoyed desert experience - The best vacation Everything was ideal. Excellent location, really accommodating staff, excellent planning, excellent dinner and breakfast, and a very pleasant, clean, and well-equipped accommodation. The camp personnel made you feel very at ease, motivating you to take part in the musical performance. Nothing
- James (10/5): Never forget this night in the desert 🏜️ - I recently had the most incredible experience camping here in the Sahara. Everything about the setup exceeded my expectations. The camp was well-run and furnished with all the necessities. In the midst of the huge desert, the tents' pleasant environment was made possible by their cleanliness and comfort. Our visit was made pleasurable by the staff's warmth and friendliness. The evening entertainment, where we gathered around a bonfire, listened to traditional music, and saw fascinating dance displays beneath the starry sky, was the highlight of the trip. I wholeheartedly suggest this camp to anyone seeking a real desert experience because it was a truly unique adventure. Nothing's
- Angela (10/5): Fantastic - I was delighted by the staff's high degree of hospitality and attention to detail from the moment I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by the high-end comforts offered in the middle of the desert. The tents were roomy, exquisitely furnished, and furnished with all the comforts. The cozy mattresses contributed to a restful night's sleep, and waking up to the spectacular desert vistas was absolutely breathtaking. The activities that your camp offered were also fantastic.
I highly recommend this place Nothing
- Shan (10/5): Exceptional - My time at this camp in Merzouga will always be special. The camp offered the ideal balance of familiarity and authenticity. The shared restrooms were spotless and well-kept, and the tents were roomy and furnished with excellent beds. The camp provided a variety of activities, including camel trekking, ATV quad riding, and sandboarding, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the desert environment. The sunrise over the sand dunes was an incredible sight and perhaps one of the highlights of my trip. We had a great stay thanks to the helpful and nice employees. I heartily recommend this camp if you're searching for a genuine desert experience. Original Luxury Camp We like everything!!
- Angel (10/5): Super amazing Camp Original Luxury camp - Everything was wonderful and far above our expectations. There are no other surrounding campers visible because the camp is directly in front of the large dunes. The service and the meal were both excellent. We had a tour of the black desert, saw a fossil-rich location, a Bedouin camp, and enjoyed a delectable meal. I was dubious when I made the reservation and believed that this would be a typical tourist excursion, but we were pleasantly surprised. Hassan went above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. He gave numerous explanations, is a jovial and amiable person, and is wonderful towards children. I can only highly recommend this camp, not just for its excellent customer service and first-rate amenities (including a tiny pool in the middle of the desert! ), but also for the individuals that manage and staff it. Hassan and crew, thank you so much. We'll return soon! Everything was amazing
- Mnsor (10/5): Very good place - The highlight of our Morocco trip. We parked our car at the meeting point which is a secured parking. Then we had a camel riding from meeting point to the camp site and took the 4x4 back to the meeting point on the next morning after finishing breakfast at camp site. The camp we slept in had private shower and toilet which is amazing in the middle of desert. All the staffs are nice and friendly. There are SIX courses meal for dinner which is included in the price. After dinner there was a campfire and band music. very good value for money. Nothing
- Sabrina (10/5): Amazing luxury Camp - What favored me? Everything! The location is ideal, the tents are immaculate, and the space is like an oasis in the desert, making it the nicest camp in Merzouga, Erg Chebbi, and the entire Sahara. Under the sky, the camp area is beautifully lit up at night. Breakfast and dinner are similar to the ones served in upscale establishments. The icing on the cake was the berberi concert around the campfire! I wish I could have stayed longer because the staff is excellent. Youssef is very hospitable and a wonderful desert driver, and Hamid is the best camel guide and vocalist ever. highly advisable, original luxury camp
- Ricardo (10/5): Best Night in Morocco - Thank you for everything your Camp, Original Luxury camp exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful time at your campsite, and camel riding was simply incredible, but I would like to encourage anyone traveling to the Merzouga Desert to at least try two different experiences. In my case, I traveled from my hotel to the camp by camel, and the next morning after a sumptuous breakfast and an incredible sunrise, I returned by quad across the dunes and enjoyed the golden desert. Just let them know what you prefer and which activities you are interested in. I sincerely appreciate each and every wonderful experience. Nothing
- Maria (9/5): Magic night in the desert - Youssef was the best host, the camp was amazing. Omar was there to pick us up to enter the desert. He was also very kind. The food was also great. This camp exceeded my expectations and I would definitely want to come back. The tent was big, comfortable and the bed amazing. We went on a camel excursion to watch the sunset and it was also perfect. After dinner we had a wood fire and they played some music and as well sang. We could see the stars, the moon everything was perfect. I suggest you wake up to see the sunrise as it is amazing! 10/10 for me. Nothing
- Irnamy (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful Camp, our tents were so amazing and very large we had private bathroom and showers , also hot water was provided , it is really fabulous desert camp , the staff in the camp are very friendly and helpful , We enjoyed also camel riding to see sunset , next day we decided to come back to the town by doing an hour of quad bike adventure crossing the vast desert
all this was organized by the Expert guide Said
highly recommended place nothing
- Sonia (10/5): Fantastic - This camp offered us the best experience in the desert. Staff was very friendly, they did their best to make us enjoy our stay. We arrived with camel and then youssef took us with his car on sunset tour. Then we enjoyed dinner and danced around the fire on local sounds. Our tent was spacious and comfort, like a little house in the desert. Next morning we woke up early to see the sunrise, however it was not visible due to dust. Then we had breakfast and did a fantastic & funny tour with ATV to return to Merzouga Nothing, Everything was amazing
- Eileen (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is genuinely friendly and ensures that you feel safe and comfortable at all times, and the breakfast is excellent (it was the first time I had an omelette served in a tajine). This is a place to enjoy peace of mind while traveling through Morocco. Everything works as expected, the rooms are spacious, lovely, and in great condition, the parking is excellent, and the staff genuinely cares about your well-being.
- Iraan (10/5): Comfortably camp - Just wowwww
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going . Also were they able to recommend a bunch of places to go and offer excursions, all very well organized, jeep tour, camel riding which were amazing! The breakfast was also delicious. I highly recommend this camp for anyone visiting and will definitely be back! Nothing

Breakfast and dinner were both excellent and plenty. The barber night performance, which included music and fire, was excellent. We advise everyone to stay at this original luxury camp. All was excellent
- Linda (10/5): Best camp - Best camp in Merzouga. Tents are comfortable and beds are clean. The dinner is really delicious. The camp has a very good location - you go here by camels and it takes about an hour with pauses, rather good. I'm very grateful for welcoming me. Everything was amazing. i hope to come back again Nothing
