- teresa (4/5): Disappointing - We want to visit family who live nearby and for them to be able to come and see us The property was in heavy shade making it feel cold and damp ,we bought logs for the log burner which helped and were unable to get the radiators to respond to the temperature. The presence of a dehumidifier indicated that the owners were aware of this.We left the property in good order, when we returned home the owner sent a message requesting £100 payment for damage to bed clothes with felt pen and a mark on the toilet seat which was there when we arrived.I refused to pay and the owner then made intrusive, harrassing attempts using social media say that we had children staying at the property but had not notified her, also completely untrue.I blocked their contacts and would feel very uneasy about any further bookings via Booking.co,
- Nora (10/5): Cosy, comfortable, secluded cabin with beautiful views. - A Very cosy, peaceful, comfortable, secluded cabin with beautiful views. Kitchen well equipped, very comfortable bed which is much appreciated after a long day Being out and about. Great location too. Machynlleth town centre is about 5 minutes drive / 15-20 minutes walk away. Would definitely come back! :) n/a
- Reason (10/5): We had a lovely stay in the cabin. Nice and peaceful, but a stones throw from the town centre. -
- Dave (8/5): Very good - Cosy, never cold and quiet. Fantastic view and even our dog felt at home. The neighbouring hotel is happy to provide a tasty breakfast.
The owners are really accommodating and don't intrude on your stay. Shower was a little too snug so anyone of a heavier disposition, myself included, would struggle to use it if at all.

- Klaudia (9/5): Superb - It was my husbands birthday. I booked the place for our two kids and hubby. We came from London. I am un love with this cabin especially with the location. Very peaceful, privat , 5min drive to the town and within 30min up to an hour drive to the most beautiful waterfalls, mountains etc
..view from the terrace its absolutely stunning and breath taking! I also love the cosy feeling inside the cabin, the fireplace was ☆☆☆☆☆ and great bonus in the evening, very easy to lit and didn't smell also wasn't too hot whilst we had it.
We would definitely stay here again!!!
Ps. Communication with the owner was brilliant!
- Bea (9/5): Beautiful view from the log cabin - Loved the view from the decking and the little fireplace with provided logs. Also, it was nice that the kitchen had lots of utensils, dishes, and the little cupboard with board games and books. It was a bit dirty under the sofas.
- Roger (8/5): We loved the view and such a lovely peaceful place - The beautiful panaramic mountain view from the large decking. comfy clean bed. Pretty light furniture. Kitchen well equipped. We would go again The cleaning could have been better as the wooden floors were dirty and furniture needed dusting. And no kitchen bin liners or dusters. Smell of sigerrettes in kitchen bin. We are none smokers.
- Knottswood (8/5): Very good -
- Adrienne (4/5): Disappointing - Comfortable cabin with comfortable bed. Nice location Lights to cabin did not work. No welcome pack. Difficult to find parking place in dark. Place appeared deserted. Had irate call from owner claiming our dog had poohed and wee’d everywhere. Claimed my partner had broken a plastic chair. Claimed he had used every bit of crockery in place broken some and did not wash up. Claimed that there was black dog hair everywhere despite the fact that our dog is a breed that does not shed hair. Claimed that my 70 year old partner and small dog made more mess than a family of four last week. Very rude. Just launched in with personal attack. Funny that no one else has claimed this about us before and we travel extensively.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominic (9/5): I’d definitely stay there again! - Exactly what it said on the tin.. secluded. Also decking with view over fields and hills. Ideally TV would have full range of channels. As the owners suggest, best bring your own tech to get best out of it. But a minor issue really…
