Guest Reviews
- Anupama (6/5): - It’s clean, spacious bathrooms and great location. There is no space as a living area, and no kitchen or induction as mentioned in the facilities. Just an oven and fridge is there
- Gregory (9/5): Excellent - The noon check out was a big plus and the owner let us check in a hour early which helped with our first day. The location was excellent to hub out of and we were less than 100 steps to 7- Eleven:)) The common area was small and not much of a kitchen or prep area.
- 배 (10/5): -
- Pradeep Kumar (9/5): - Well located and nice place
- NanYung (4/5): The location is excellent, but the lack of proper management and maintenance was very disappointing.
The cleanliness was not satisfactory, and several facilities were not functioning properly.
For example, the light in the upstairs bedroom was broken, there was a faulty Dyson hairdryer left in the bathroom, and the projector was not usable.
Overall, the property did not seem to be well maintained or properly managed.
The location is excellent, which makes the lack of maintenance and upkeep even more disappointing.

- Dylan (9/5): Location, Location, Location - Haku Hotel was spacious enough for our family of 5, I’d say 4x Queen size mattresses for bedding.
The showers, toilets and bath all great.
Every room, including bathrooms have air conditioning.
3 floors so plenty of space, just be mindful if you’re planning to stay you’ll be going up and down some stairs to the bath, though they have a shower downstairs.
The location: The hotel was within walking distance from Asakusa Station and the Giza Line, which made getting around Tokyo a breeze.
Close to some shrines, shopping, food and other attractions. 7/11 20 meters away. Only a few downsides really.
The door lock system was a little painful to work out at first, never felt like it worked the same every time we used it.
No real sink to do dishes - had to use the sink in the shower to wash some spoons.
Could have used a small couch instead of the high bar stools and counter for a little more sitting space.
But if you’re only planning on sleeping at Haku it’s a non issue.

- Sau ling (9/5): - 酒店距離十分之近地鐵站,晚上購物也有便利店,
而酒店職員亦都很好禮貌招待,下次再來大阪必定會再試。

- OLGA (10/5): Very cute little house, but spacious inside, which is rare in Tokyo! Enjoyed the experience living here with family! - Nice spacious rooms, soft beds, big bathroom on the second floor, cute balcony on the third floor
- Marisa (9/5): - Amazing location, quiet, but near so much. Two bathrooms! Comfy beds. Tis a great base for sleeping. Only suitable for those who can cope with steep stairs. Only two chairs/very little living space. But wasn't really needed in Tokyo!
- Usfdanny05 (9/5): stay here - clean and lots of beds and rooms weird layout to house
- Nancy (9/5): Nice area near Sumida River and Sensoji Temple! - The location was excellent, so near konbini and 2 train stations. Near tourist area but away enough. Manager very accommodating and easy to communicate with! Was a bit small for 7 adults, but we managed nicely for 2 night stay.
- Danchen (6/5): Dangerous staircase.not so clean. - Great location 1. Not clean. It’s very dusty everywhere. Thick layer of dusk on every ventilation/AC unit.
2. To access the top bedroom you need to go through a tiny spiral staircase without handrail. It was not clearly indicated in the description. Especially inconvenient since the toilet/bath is on the second floor. One of the visitor slipped and fell on the first day of the stay.
3. No living room. Not great for a group of five as there is no space to hang out.
- Arunwadee (7/5): Good - location little space for luggages
- Justin (8/5): Very good -
- Nimi (5/5): Not a comfortable place to stay as a family. Bad choice! - We did not like the apartment and the exaggerated price we paid. Nevertheless, there are only a few things that are worthwhile mentioning here:
1. The location is excellent since it is a few minutes walk from Asakusa's central district. It is also very close to the metro lines "Ginza" and "Asakusa," from which you can easily connect to many places in Tokyo, particularly Haneda airport.
2. The apartment has USB sockets, which are extremely useful for charging your mobile device if you do not have enough Japanese socket adapters.
3. The bathtub room on the 2nd floor is beautiful and comfortable. That was the only thing we liked in the apartment regarding design and comfort.
Other than that, please read the review below for the negative issues. 1. The apartment does not have a washing machine. We had it in every apartment/hotel room we stayed in during our trip to Japan. Please mind it when you book your trip with this property.
2. The apartment can practically hold eight people (2 people in the double bed on the 1st floor, 4 in 2 medium mats on the 2nd floor, and two in the double mat on the 3rd floor. However, do not expect much comfort. There is no place for luggage, and the worst part is that the table for eating is that 2-seat bar you see in the photos. No other zones are available. When we arrived, we practically sat on the floor with our first takeaway meals since we expected some available place for a family to sit in. Consider it and eat outside—no place for takeaways in that apartment.
3. The apartment has no cutlery (I will come to the "kitchen" apart at the following point). We notified the owner on the day of our arrival since we had no cutlery for eating our takeaway. We were compensated with 3000 yen, which the owner left in the mailbox a few days afterward for buying our cutlery in the nearby supermarket.
4. There is no kitchen in the apartment. The "funny" thing is that since this apartment's design is poor, the refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle are stored in the built-in closet with the sliding doors next at the entrance to the apartment, next to the bar table. You cannot see it in the photos (for obvious reasons), and therefore, you can expect it. The owner tried to maximize the house occupancy at the expense of comfort. Bad choice reminded me of horrible living places when I was a student. I am not a student anymore, and I wanted to have a place for a family for a vacation!
5. We had apartments with stairs, and this one has many tight ones to reach the 2nd floor and definitely the 3rd floor. Be careful if you still desire to stay here, following my comments above.
I have more to say but Bookign limited the length with this review!!!
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Rui (6/5): Stairs and stairs! good location though - Very convenient location. But do be aware that it's all stairs for 2nd to 3rd level. The 3rd level stairs are especially steep.
Things were breaking apart in the apartment, remote controls were not working, we were told by staff to open up white casings on the wall to access the light switches. Staff were very responsive though! Did not expect to get a response at 1am, but they were quick to reply since we only managed to check in at that hour.
Otherwise, for the price point it is decent.
- Kathy (8/5): Great location - limited space. - Great location. Small - mainly just 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and a stairwell - no where to sit and no kitchen. OK if you are out exploring and happy to eat out for all meals.
- Elisabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (9/5): Superb - Very convenient location. Honestly you couldn't get any better than that. There is nowhere to sit if you want to have a quick coffee in the morning with your family.
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (7/5): Location of property is great. Staff were easily contactable. We had to text and ask for codes, these were not sent to u - Different bedrooms for separation is great. Cleanliness was not quite up to standard.
- Angeline (5/5): Passable - Location very good Not clean at all
A bit dirty
Can see the dust on corner & top...
Bed sheet set can be more improve...
2nd floor no light...
- Tandy (8/5): We would stay again! The location and space is great. - Great location — easy to get to from the airport by train, quiet, safe, very close to convenience store and restaurants, and lots of things to do in the area.
Good amount of space compared to a hotel, two bathrooms, and a balcony. First floor bed is squeaky.
The stairs to the balcony and adjacent room are very narrow — bringing bags or suitcases to the upper room is difficult.
- Shilpa (9/5): Great place! - Clean property, good location, flexible hosts. The area is quite, but is well connected. Good food options nearby. There is no lounge area to decompress after a busy day. Also, remember to factor in travelling time to and from areas like Shibyua etc. It's a small thing, but there is nothing else to fault!
- Cathryn (7/5): Great location and lots more space than a hotel room but cleaning and amenities could have been better - Location and extra space No running water in kitchen. Only 2 stools to sit on for 4 people. Walls were dirty and mould in the shower.
- Sarah (8/5): Great stay for our family of 5 - Great location close to the temple, restaurants, metro stations and seven eleven Nothing
- Dan (8/5): Very good - The location is very close to Asakusa station.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious for a family of five people.
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Emily (7/5): Nice for a short stay - Convenience and location. The ground floor bathroom has a foul smell at times. That is sewage problem.
- Winnie (10/5): Exceptional - - Great location
- Clean and spacious rooms NA
- T (8/5): We loved stayed here, location was great and the house was tucked away in a quiet lane way. -
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location in quiet neighborhood.
- Saba (8/5): Very good -
- Arnauld (8/5): I appreciate the service of the host, the cleanliness and the great place to explore Asakusa. - Place, flexibility of the host, cleanliness
- Janthana (10/5): Good Location, very clean, better than stay at hotel with same money. - Location is good, near Asakusa Station which can reach directly from both Narita and Haneda by train, near Sensoji temple and quiet. The house is very clean and comfort with 3 rooms and 2 baths for our group of 5 people. It’s as shown in the pictures. Host is very responsive None
- Deb (10/5): Had an issue with the door combination but there was a quick response and it soon got fixed. - Location
- Hwang (10/5): excellent stay with nice view and very spacious room - very new and clean and spacious nothing
- Andy (8/5): Great for a few nights in Tokyo - Close to Senso-Ji and main sights in Asakusa. No living room or places to unpack
- Sophia (10/5): Exceptional - Very good
- Peita (7/5): Very clean and presentable, however probably not enough space for the amount of people it says it can accommodate. - It was clean and a great location. We didn’t like that there was no sitting area/lounge when it is marketed for a larger amount of people. We had to sit on the stairs to eat dinner as there was only two stools.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - Great location and setup
- Lucinda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angelica (9/5): Superb -
- Setiawan (9/5): nothing to complain, the staff response time is excellent, location is all within walking distance (metro station, touri - everything it would be nicer if you could provide small sofa
- Donna (6/5): Location pretty good. Bathrooms were modern and excellent. - The area was quite good. It was clean. Bathrooms were excellent. There was nowhere really to sit. Two bar stools, but not at all conducive to socializing. The older style bed was quaint, but a bit rickety.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
