- Cindy (10/5): - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Khan Hotel Samarkand. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was well-maintained, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt fresh and cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing stay. After a busy day exploring Samarkand, it was the perfect place to return to and unwind. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to other travelers. My only significant concern was with the bar service. The prices I was charged for beer and wine did not match the prices listed on the menu. The server charged me a higher amount (Double the price) and requested payment in cash. During my travels in Uzbekistan, staff at another hotel informed me that alcohol purchases must be charged to a card rather than paid for in cash, which made this situation feel unusual. As a visitor, I was left with the impression that I was overcharged and that the money may have been pocketed rather than processed through the hotel. I would encourage management to ensure that menu prices are honored and that payment procedures are clearly communicated to guests.

Хороший садик внутри, бассейн, столики и топчаны, качели. Есть халаты и тапочки в номере. Персонал очень приветливый и готовый помочь. Завтрак очень слабый. Добавьте хотя бы кофемашину. Я понимаю, что выгодно продавать кофе в баре, но ведь его не один раз в день пьют. Неудобные высокие и жёсткие подушки. В туалете очень пахло канализацией. В люксе во втором туалете не было даже мыла для рук.

You can reach the attraction just by walking out the door in the morning, allowing you to enjoy the scenic area exclusively before the large crowds of tourists arrive. The breakfast is also quite good, providing both Western and local choices. It was a very comfortable stay.

- nadezda (9/5): Amazing site, right opposite Shah-i-Zinda - Amazing site, right opposite Shah-i-Zinda (just cross the street and you are there, we even visited the mausoleum at late night time). It's a 2-store building around the yard with swimming pool. On the first floors you will find restaurant and even a small bar. To get from the hotel to the main touristic sites you will spend 10-20 minutes, so we were glad that we stayed in this particular hotel. Many thanks for the very polite personal of this hotel! We'll definitely recommend this place to all our friends! In the morning there wasn't hot water in our room, just a warm one.

Салфеток нет, одноразовых комплектов нет (зубная щётка, паста и прочее). Полотенца добавили только на 3 день, до этого было два больших на двоих. Завтрак просто 3 из 10, так нельзя... Всё нужно просить - слабо, очень слабо, к сожалению.

Man muss dies nicht so repräsentieren.

- Andy Jia Zheng (10/5): Accommodation Directly Opposite Shah-i-Zinda - The hotel is literally located right across the street from Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis, just a short walk across the road. The room is spacious, and while the breakfast selection is limited, it is sufficient. About 200 meters to the right after exiting the hotel, there is a supermarket called Comfort, which is very convenient. The downside is that it is directly opposite a necropolis, so those who are concerned about this may want to consider carefully. Additionally, the price is slightly higher compared to our stays in Tashkent and Bukhara.

Restaurants und Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar. Aufgrund seiner guten Lage wird das Hotel gern von Reisegruppen genutzt. Wer ein ruhiges Frühstück schätzt, sollte die eigene Frühstückszeit etwas anpassen.

Хамам и сауна совсем небольшие, в хамаме несколько сложно отрегулировать комфортную температуру, пар выходит слишком горячий, но по большому счету вполне неплохо.

There was some confusion about the restaurant, they had to close for dinner the evening we arrived due to staffing issues and said they would not have breakfast, that would have been really bad but the morning crew arrived and saved the day!

- Sonia (8/5): Un bel emplacement confortable pour visiter Kokand - Le confort de la chambre, le petit déjeuner , les espaces verts de l’hôtel , la piscine-même si nous avons pas pu en profiter , l’emplacement, le stationnement Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour la piscine mais nous n’avons pas pu en profiter car il y avait une fête privée autour de la piscine, et cela aurait été inconfortable d’aller se baigner pendant leur fête. Notre chambre donnait sur le côté de l’hôtel où il y a un stationnement et une rue passante, ce qui occasionnait pas mal de bruit le soir car certains employés se regroupent à cet endroit le soir pour jaser , apportez vos bouchons , Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais ce n’était pas possible , et aussi, il n’y a pas eu de ménage fait pendant les 2 nuits, La manette de contrôle de l’air climatisé était en langue Ouzbek de sorte qu’il était difficile de baisser l’intensité ( car cela faisait trop de bruit)- nous avons demandé à la réception qu’une personne viennent baisser l’intensité de l’air climatisé mais finalement personne n’est venu …( nous avons fermé le tout)

- Jens (9/5): - Bei der Anzahl von Reisegruppen und Reisenden, welche im Hotel - insbesondere in der Hochsaison - übernachten, ist der Frühstücksraum / das Restaurant morgens überfüllt und es besteht Sitzplatzmangel, auch wenn der Service des Hotelpersonals hervorragend ist.

- Andreas (10/5): - Gute Lage, riesiges Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Das beste Hotel für einen vergleichbaren Preis auf meiner ganzen Usbekistanreise. Dusche war maximal lauwarm. Das war aber auch das einzige.

Breakfast was opened earlier for us as we were leaving early. Our booked hotel cancelled on us and the Khan hotel stepped in. Thank you! A lift would be helpful!

- ביטון (8/5): תמורה טובה למחיר. - ארוחת בקר סבירה.מעט ירקות.שירות מצוין.רחבת הבריכה גדולה .נקיה ומזמינה. השימוש בספא בתשלום ולא סביר.הדבר לא הופיע באתר המלון.הסאונה קטנה ואינה יכולה להכיל יותר מ3 אנשים.
- Andreas (9/5): Ich würde wieder dieses Hotel buchen. - Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer schön groß mit Sitzgelegenheiten, sehr sauber. Pool auch sehr schön, um die Mittagshitze zu überstehen. Wasserspender auf Gang hatte immer ausreichend Wasser. Frühstück vielleicht nicht umwerfend, aber immer noch mehr als ausreichend. Das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auf unserer Usbekistan Tour. Einziger negativer Punkt war Warmwasser. Beim Duschen war die Temperatur an allen Tagen nur lauwarm. Spart allerdings Wasser, also auch nicht wirklich schlecht. Deshalb "nur" insgesamt 9 von 10 Punkten, sonst hätte ich für das Khan Hotel unter Berücksichtigung des Preises 10/10 gegeben.
- NATHALIE (10/5): Très bel hôtel avec une très bonne équipe et une excellente situation géographique. - Très belle chambre. Propreté impeccable. Équipe professionnelle et très agréable. Très bien situé, à 5 minutes à pied des principaux monuments. Parfait.

- Sabrina (9/5): Good location - The location is very helpful. We can do all visit by walking. Very clean and professional staff. I was woke up early because of the doors of each room when go in and out.
