- Antoinette (10/5): Exceptional Stay – A Perfect Southern Highlands Retreat! - We absolutely loved our overnight stay at The Cottage Burradoo! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautifully designed and immaculately presented the cottage is. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the cosy fireplace to the thoughtful little touches that made us feel instantly at home. The interior felt warm, inviting and stylish, and everything was spotlessly clean.
We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck with stunning views of the lake and gardens, such a peaceful setting that made our escape truly rejuvenating. The beds were super comfortable, and everything we needed was provided for. The location was great too, an easy drive to Bowral for exploring cafes and shops, yet wonderfully tranquil.
Overall, it was a magical and restful stay. Highly recommend this charming cottage for a romantic getaway or peaceful break in the Southern Highlands. We can’t wait to return!
- Su (9/5): We had a lovely stay at the cottage which was just beautifully appointed - Code was given to us on the day
- David (9/5): -
- Jason (8/5): Lovely place to stay would happily book again - Comfort, very well equipped, location Mentions that the front door and bedroom door were a bit difficult to open/close
- Renata (9/5): Beautiful cottage in a relaxing setting, perfect for short stay - Beautiful sandstone cottage in serene location overlooking a small lake. Well appointed kitchen and lounge room. Great fireplace for the cold night. Very comfortable beds with warm bedding. Clean throughout. Underfloor heating would be a perfect addition for the cold months!
- Naomi (9/5): Cozy, charming, classy stone cottage in one of best streets in the Southern Highlands - Beautiful house with loads of character & charm. Great location with stunning gardens. Beautifully decorated but a lot of decorations which doesn’t leave a lot of space for guests items.
- Angela (10/5): Cosy, cute and comfy. - Cosy, cute and comfy. Great location.
- Tracey (10/5): Beautiful - Stunning cottage, attention to detail and great deck views!
Bathrobes, slippers, breakfast, wine and treats were a lovely surprise.
Perfect spot for our girls weekend away. Located right next to the train line with regular trains passing through.
- Huili (9/5): Wonderful cottage house for weekend getaway - We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful sandstone cottage! the place is cozy, quiet and well equipped. We loved the fireplace. Beds were comfy and clean. The host was nice and easy to communicate with. Cleaner could do a better job - the table top, magazines and kitchen bench were dusty. One of the face towels was dirty.

- Edel (10/5): Beautifully designed, amazing attention to detail, felt like a luxury stay in a cosy cottage - Comfy beds and bed linen, wine and chocolates left for us, the wooden interiors, the deck, the blankets and robes Nothing!
- Cecile (10/5): Fabulous cottage full of charm and comfort. - WOW we loved staying at the cottage, it’s so beautiful and full of rustic elegance! Well appointed and very friendly host when we needed assistance.
- 千穂 (10/5): コテージの中はおとぎの国 - ホストの方のきめ細やかであたたかい配慮が随所に感じられる空間でした。暖炉の炎にとても癒され、ずっと見ていました。
- Bettina (10/5): Charming and comfortable cottage - Charming and cosy cottage with real character. Well-equipped, spotlessly clean, with many thoughtful and generous inclusions - everything was there for a very comfortable stay. We loved being able to relax in the deep sofas around a crackling fire, with table lamps and LED candles giving a cosy 'hygge' atmosphere. Good bedlinen and high quality towels added a touch of luxury, and bathrobes and slippers provided were appreciated during the chilly night. Very good coffee machine and quiet dishwasher. Located close to all the main Southern Highlands towns. Really enjoyed our stay. The benchtop oven was rather inefficient and took a long, long time to reheat a pre-prepared meal.
- Lloyd (8/5): Lovely cottage and would stay again. - Charming cottage and good heating. Beds are exceptionally comfortable, nice robes and slippers. Advertised as having a BBQ, We bought food for a cooked breakfast the found the BBQ did not work / had plate missing, was dirty anyway so wouldn't have used it even if it worked.
- Alison (10/5): Beautiful house for a getaway. - Beautifully appointed house. Everything you could need even breakfast cereal. Fire was set up ready to light. Nothing.
- Therese (10/5): The perfect weekend getaway - We have stayed before and loved it so much that we had to come back. It is so quaint and relaxing, perfect for a weekend getaway. This is nothing to dislike, everything is perfect as it is.
- Akshay (9/5): Was a good place to come back to and rest for the next day. - Cosy, clean cabin with fireplace. 10 min drive or so to Bowral Train would pass through every so often. Not super loud.
- Dickinson (10/5): Magical forest stay - The Cottage is warm and welcoming and full of thoughtful touches. Hospitality at its best. I loved everything about it.
- Angela (10/5): A weekend away with friends this beautiful cottage is stylish and elegant . We loved the warm feel throughout and the li - A beautiful cottage, easy to access . Everthing was well thought out from having timber logs ready for the fire, breakfast cereal and milk for the next morning . Loved the little touches No blind on the kitchen window, would’ve liked something to come down in the evening .
Staircase going up the stairs needs a small rail on the last two steps when coming down no where to support

- Dickinson (10/5): Southern Highlands at is cosy best - Everything! Beautiful cottage, gorgeous setting and welcoming, comfortable and stylish ambience.
A lot of thought has gone into the making of this little home from home. There is a generosity and care in the provision of many small comforts. It shows. Cannot wait to return. Loved everything. Only thing to dislike was that we were only there for one night. Will stay longer next time.
- Kerry (10/5): Peaceful & charming cottage - Amazing place to stay! The cottage is immaculately clean and extremely well appointed, absolutely everything has been thought of and provided. The outlook - even in the rain - is beautiful, it has a wind in the willows vibe as it looks out over a small lake surrounded by willows & gardens. The sandstone cottage is more spacious than it looks and has been beautifully restored. We will definitely stay again, thanks Belinda

- Kathleen (10/5): Stunning Cottage - warm and welcoming! - What a beautiful cottage in a stunning part of the world! This cosy, gorgeous, stone and timber cottage is beautifully furnished and has all you need for an overnight or week stay. The breakfast items were a lovely thoughful touch. We loved the fire that provided warmth and atmosphere for the living room and main bedroom. We highly recommend The Cottage!
- Peter (9/5): Cosy stay in picturesque cottage in Burradoo. - This is a lovely property. Our stay was at very short notice as we had to change our plans suddenly for family reasons. We were looking for a relaxing stay with pleasant aspect - which was delivered in spades. Very pleasant. There is a lovely fire which serves both the living room and the main bedroom which made the stay very cosy, even though there are very high ceilings. Breakfast doings were perfect. Excellent coffee machine which made coffee with great crema. The fire does churn through firewood, and we had to purchase additional wood for the second night. I dont think we used the wood extravagantly, however the fire has a strong draw and seemed to require a reasonable amount with the coals not lasting until morning. This is a minor quibble as we loved our stay.
- Renate (10/5): My family and I enjoyed a perfect stay and would definitely come back. - The Cottage has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful stay. The location is perfect and just a short drive to Bowral. And the host Belinda was lovely to communicate with. Nothing! Everything was perfect.
- Roslyn (9/5): lovely cottage, everything you could need, pretty setting, comfy beds, - perfect little cottage for 2 or 4 - beautifully built and everything you could need for a stay.
- Logan (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage that felt like you were whisked away in time but with all the modern comforts. Amazing fireplace that doubles as the fireplace for the master bedroom. Lots of little extras that we didn't need to think about such as milk, coffee pods and fresh bread to make brekfast with. The beds were so comfy. The linens crisp and the towels of a luxury feel. It really did feel like staying in a 1800s cottage for The night but super modern and luxury. That we could only stay 1 night due to my work schedule. Would have loved to have spent the weekend here. Brought my mum for a night away for her birthday.
- Vesna (10/5): Best accommodation for a weekend away in the Southern Highlands - Fantastic location and absolutely beautiful surroundings. The Cottage is the next level of beauty and comfort - can't wait to come back. Nothing - everything was perfect
- Ozgur-vural (10/5): Fantastic - The best stay I've done in NSW. The service by the owners, attention to detail and quality of this cottage was superb. I even selfishly want it to be underrated so I can come here every winter. Close to town, good wifi and great facilities. Could not have enjoyed it more and wished I had a few more days here.
