What made it truly special was Katerina, an amazing hostess who made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. From the very first moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the most kind, warm-hearted hostess imaginable. She greeted me with genuine smiles, endless kindness, and made me feel less like a guest and more like family. No matter what I needed, she was always there — happy to help, always caring, and always making sure everything was perfect. The place itself is absolutely beautiful — rustic, authentic, cozy, and full of character. Waking up there felt like stepping into another world. And the location simply could not be better: right at the doorstep of the descent into the breathtaking Vikos Gorge, making it the perfect base for anyone wanting to explore this incredible part of Greece. After long days of hiking and adventure, returning there felt peaceful and comforting every single time. I honestly cannot imagine a better place to stay in Vikos. A huge thank you to the amazing hostess for her warmth and hospitality, and to this wonderful place for making the experience unforgettable. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone traveling to this magical region.

Fijne kamer met koffie en thee faciliteiten. Shampoo en doucheschuim, föhn aanwezig. Heerlijk privé of lopend buffet ontbijt al naar gelang aanwezigheid van medegasten. Tv met Netflix en YouTube ter vermaak op regenachtige dagen Het enige wat ik kan bedenken is dat het iets gehorig is.

• VASSILIOS (10/5): - Ταο δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό. Υπήρχε άμεση εξυπηρέτηση σε ότι και να ζητήσαμε. Το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικό και η Κατερίνα με το χαμόγελο και πρόθυμη να μας προσφέρει ότι θέλαμε.
• Artemis (10/5): Υπέροχο μέρος με υπέροχους ανθρώπους - Μείναμε δύο βράδια το δωμάτιο ήταν όμορφο και ζεστό, η θέα φοβερή, το πρωινό πλούσιο τόσο σε αλμυρά όσο και σε γλυκά. Αλλά το καλύτερο ήταν η οικοδέσποινα, η κυρία Κατερίνα, η οποία είναι πάντα με το χαμόγελο. Πολύ ευγενική και καλόκαρδη και σε κάνει να νιώθεις σαν το σπίτι σου. Σίγουρα θα το ξανά επισκεφτούμε.

• francois (10/5): Charmant hôtel perdu dans les montagnes. Accueil chaleureux. - L’hôtel est très chaleureux et décoré avec goût. Notre hôte a été très sympathique et nous a renseigné sur les promenades à faire dans la région. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet était préparé avec soin et des produits de la région. La chambre était petite mais cela correspondait à la description. Le petit cabinet de toilette est séparé de la chambre par une porte coulissante.

• Bettina (10/5): - Die Lage mit Blick auf die Vikos-Schlucht und die umgebenden Berge ist wunderschön :) Katharina ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns ein superleckeres, vielfältiges und reichhaltiges Frühstück bereitet. Unser Zimmer mit Aussicht hat uns sehr gefallen und auch die schöne Terrasse, auf der wir in der Abendsonne noch gemütlich ein Bier trinken konnten. Der Wanderweg in die Schlucht beginnt gleich vor der Türe. Ein wunderbarer Ort, wir kommen wieder :)

• Moukas (10/5): - Πανέμορφο κατάλυμα, σε ένα από τα πιο όμορφα και ήρεμα χωριά στο δυτικό Ζαγόρι. Ελάχιστα μέτρα ,από την ωραιότερη θέα στο φαράγγι του Βίκου! Η Κατερίνα,είναι η ψυχή του καταλύματος με εξαιρετικό σπιτικό πρωινό. Σίγουρα θα το επισκεφτώ ξανά.
• Mart (10/5): A really cozy stay with a beautiful view of the Gorge! - Amazingly friendly host who helped us get started on the famous Vikos Gorge hike and arranged a taxi for us. Even though the town was quiet and empty when we got there in the low season, still made us feel like home. Breakfast was also amazing!

• Stergios (9/5): - Ένας όμορφος ξενώνας, με άνετο πάρκινγκ, ένα λεπτό απόσταση από το μαγευτικό φαράγγι του Βίκου. Η Κατερίνα εξαιρετική, χαμογελαστή, μας σκλάβωσε με την φιλοξενία, την προθυμία και το πρωινό της. Το κτίριο πάσχει από ηχομόνωση-γίναμε ενοχλητικοί στα απέναντι δωμάτια ένα βράδυ που γελούσαμε βλέποντας μια κωμωδία στην τηλεόραση. Δεν υπήρχε στήριγμα για το τηλέφωνο της ντουζιέρας, το ψυγείο είχε σπασμένο ράφι και η θέρμανση δεν είναι αυτόνομη-όταν τη χρειαζόμασταν τα σώματα ήταν κρύα. Λεπτομέρειες, δηλαδή, που αντί για 10 με αναγκάζουν να βάλω 9.
• Magda-fabiola (10/5): - όλη η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα ήταν υπέροχη ,το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο,ανακαινισμένο και με υπέροχη θέα ,το πρωινο είχε ότι ακριβώς χρειάζεσαι για να ξεκινήσεις τη μέρα σ και όλα φρεσκότατα ! Όσο για την εξυπηρέτηση τι να πω ..η κυρια Κατερίνα στη ρεσεψιόν ευγενέστατη και χαμογελαστή παντα ,μας έκανε να νιώθουμε άνετα και φιλόξενα καθ όλη την διαμονή και μας έδωσε χρήσιμες πληροφορίες και προτασεις για την περιοχή!! Σίγουρα θα το ξανα προτιμήσω αν βρεθώ στην περιοχή !!

Ένα τεράστιο μπράβο στην Κατερίνα, που ήταν απίστευτα φιλόξενη, πάντα χαμογελαστή και πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει με ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε! Σίγουρα θα το ξαναεπιλέξουμε!

• Urs (10/5): Vikos View and what a view 👍🏻 - I arrived late and it was already getting dark, but Katharina gave me a very warm welcome. I immediately felt at home. The next day, I was greeted by this view, which was indescribably beautiful. Nothing at all, I will come back all the time if I‘m close by.

• Κωνσταντινος (10/5): - Δωμάτια σε πέτρινο παραδοσιακό οίκημα, πεντακάθαρα ολα και πολύ ζεστό. Ζεστή και η φιλοξενία της κ. Κατερίνας που παρόλο που τα είχαμε όλα, μας ρωτούσε αν χρειαζόμαστε κάτι. Το πρωινό κορυφαίο, με γλυκά και αλμυρά, αυγά που φτιάχνονται όλα εκείνη τη στιγμή και βγαίνουν σε μπουφέ. Επίσης καλός καφές. Πολύ πλούσιο πρωινό και χορταστικό, απαραίτητο για να έχεις αρκετή ενέργεια για να κάνεις πεζοπορία στα αμέτρητα δρομάκια της περιοχής Το χωριουδάκι Βίκος είναι πανέμορφο για χαλάρωση, πολύ μικρό με μια ταβέρνα, μια καφετέρια και ελάχιστα σπίτια, πάρα πολύ γραφικό. Είναι όμως πολύ κοντά στην Αρίστη που έχει λίγο περισσότερα μαγαζιά, πανέμορφη πλατεία με πλάτανο και ειναι στρατηγικό σημείο για να φύγεις εύκολα και προς το μαγευτικό Πάπιγκο (περίπου 25 λεπτά) και προς Κόνιτσα (30 λεπτά). Tip όπως πάτε για Πάπιγκο περνάτε απο το γεφυράκι του Βοϊδοματη, κανα 10λεπτο από το ξενοδοχείο με το πανέμορφο ποτάμι όπου κάνουν ραφτιγκ. Αξίζει μια στάση. Δρομάκια για πεζοπορία έχει παντού, μικρό-μεγάλο Παπιγκο, τη γνωστή Μονής Στομιου μέχρι ακόμα κι ακριβώς απέναντι απο το ξενοδοχείο. Το δωμάτιο τέλειο οπότε θα το προτιμήσω στο μέλλον σίγουρα όταν ξαναπάω σε αυτά τα υπέροχα μέρη, γιατί μία φορά δεν είναι αρκετή
• Judith (8/5): Mooie locatie en prima kamer met goed ontbijt - Mooie locatie, goede sfeer, vriendelijk personeel, eenvoudige maar goede kamer, uitgebreid ontbijt. Douchekop kon niet opgehangen worden dus in je hand houden. Douche is ook redelijk klein. Weinig ruimte op de kamer om je koffer neer te leggen.

Katerina was the best host, always smiling, helpful and attentive. They offered help with the transfer after doing the trail. We loved everything about our stay, would 100% recommend staying here!

• Yuval (10/5): Very cozy, lovely and welcoming hotel surrounded by scenic views for budget travelers - First of all, Katarina our host was very kind and attentive, plus, she makes the best breakfast! Other than that the compound is lovely, very connected to nature. The room was very clean and welcoming, and the viewpoint on the Vikos Gorge only a few dozen meters from the hotel is beautiful. There’s also some amazing views from the room, we enjoyed it a lot. The hotel owner provides touristic services and he was very kind and easy to talk to. Everything was absolutely lovely, so we only have some side notes: The shower is small and the temperature from our experience weren’t very stable. However, we will still come back for sure and recommend! Another side note - the location of the hotel is not actually inside Aristi, but in Vikos.

• Veselina (10/5): Lovely old-fashioned b@b with a lovely hostess - Located at the Vikos Gorge trailhead, this is a great place to explore the nature of Zagori. Very comfortable, very hospitable staff, scrumptious breakfast. Katarina is so friendly and a wonderful cook. Waking up to the smell of her fried peppers and zucchini fritters was lovely. The village is tiny, 15-20 houses, however two taverns serve good food.
• Tom (10/5): Charming guesthouse in Vikos with authentic Greek hospitality. - Vikos View is the perfect home base to explore Vikos Gorge and the surrounding Zagori region. The hotel is located in the quiet and charming village of Vikos, features beautiful views from every room. Our wonderful hostess Katarina, made our stay extra special with her warm Greek hospitality and kindness. Our breakfast was the best of entire stay in Greece, freshly prepared every morning and delicious. The rooms were small, yet comfortably furnished with incredible views. We highly recommend Vico view for an authentic Greek travel experience. Nothing.
