Guest Reviews
- Ghanem (10/5): Magnificent - I’ve stayed in many places around the world and Easby hall was such a splendid experience! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an experience like never before, from lovely cosy rooms, wonderful hugging beds and the delicious breakfast! Karen the host is such a lovely kind lady that is so sweet and holds a wonderful lovely chat. I honestly felt that this place was my own house when I stayed there.
I already booked my second stay for the next weekend because I love this place and they’ll see more of me again!
Highly recommend it!

- Kerri-ann (10/5): Fantastic find 😊 - Easby Hall is just perfect. Warm welcome when we arrived late, fantastic room and breakfast we will definitely be back ☺️
- Phelan (9/5): - The host was lovely and welcoming, advised us on the best places to book for tea, and even allowed us a choice between 2 rooms. We chose the view which was beautiful.
Breakfast was also fantastic.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The host seemed very busy as we were the only guests, didn't interact much, although was really lovely when she did, we felt a little in the way, seemed preoccupied preparing for a larger group the next day.
The room did get very cold too but didn't ruin our stay, was still very relaxing.
- BillyHTAFC (10/5): Relaxing beautiful stay - the star of the show - Breakfast! - Stunning location and house. We stayed 2 nights and left feeling so relaxed. The hosts were so friendly and it was like sharing their house so very personal. There are only a few rooms, on the 1st night we had the place to ourselves, but even full there is so much space.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing, you could choose anything, but the service and attention to detail was amazing, home made products across the board - even a sprig of Rosemary and Lavendar in the napkin ring. The homemade jam and bread were off the scale.
I wish we could have stayed for a week.
It ovelooks Easby Abbey, very beautiful and the 20 minute walk into Richmond s lovely. Absolutely nothing! Yes its expensive, but its worth every penny.
- Steve (10/5): Excellent - A really warm welcome and attentive but relaxed stay.
- Sonny (10/5): A brilliant short stay. Extremely comfortable bed in large room. Breakfast was perfectly made to order and the hosts wer - Everything -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (10/5): Memorable New Year’s Eve Stay - Everything- building, decor, feel, concept, location,
views. From the moment we arrived on New Year’s Eve we knew we’d come to the right place. We were so incredibly well looked after by Trisha and Caroline, and left feeling very relaxed having had wonderful food and a really enjoyable evening in interesting company. Will return to this unique gem of a place.
- Mr (10/5): Fantastic place to stay. Lovely surroundings, beautiful rooms and friendly hosts. - Beautiful place to stay and Tricia was amazingly helpful. Room was lovely and relaxing. Great breakfast and walking distance from Richmond. Would’ve been great to have a more up to date tv ti include Netflix etc or to allow casting from devices.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -

- Eleanor (10/5): Wholesome stay, phenomenal views, lovely owners. - Fantastic trip, John & his wife couldn’t have been more accommodating. Blown away by the location and venue.
Very special trip, thank you so much Zero faults, once of the best places I’ve stayed.
- David (8/5): Would not hesitate to book again, although would choose a different room. Go on, spoil yourselves! - Excellent location, brilliant host, superb breakfast, amazing garden, first-rate selection of gins at the honesty bar. Rooms at the rear, overlooking the Abbey ruins, are the ones to choose. Our room (at the front of the building, with the 4-poster bed) had only full-length net curtains in the bathroom, so one felt a bit exposed after dark with the light on. Not that many people are likely to be passing by, although other guests may be returning late, parking at the front of the building.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): A wonderful short break. - An absolutely stunning property with scenic views and relaxing surroundings. A wonderful, friendly host. Highly recommend.

We received a very warm welcome from our host. The best gin and tonic I have ever had.
The rooms are beautifully styled with lots of lovely and thoughtful touches.
The breakfast was superb. This is an experience to be savoured. It was delicious and wonderfully presented within a perfect setting. A unexpected but deeply appreciated experience. NA
- Helen (10/5): It was the most perfect stay and we can’t wait to return - The stylishness of every room was really impressive .. really beautiful. We loved the comfort of the bed and pillows … so important … the breakfast and service with it was superb … we were made to feel so welcome and we are already looking for an excuse to return. It was wonderful. There is absolutely nothing to dislike.
- Mark (10/5): A Gem of a Find. Absolutely Perfect in every way!!!!!!! - We loved Everything. From John greeting us, telling us the history of the Hall, the rooms are beautiful and exactly what an old hall should be like. And the view from our "Abbey" bedroom was fantastic!!!!!!!! There is nothing not to like!!!!!!!
