Elke maaltijd was een genot, vers bereid met lokale ingrediënten en vol smaak. De traditionele gerechten waren een hoogtepunt, en de manier waarop alles met zorg werd geserveerd, maakte het extra bijzonder. Eten onder de open hemel maakte het nog mooier.

What set this trip apart, however, was the exceptional team their warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued. • Eva (10/5): Best camp - We were hoping to find a smaller, more personal camp for our very first desert trip, and Luxury Camp Merzouga ended up being exactly what we didn’t even know we needed. A guide recommended it to us, and honestly, we couldn’t have been happier. The people working there are what really set the experience apart. Every single person was kind, relaxed, and genuinely interested in talking with us. They shared stories, history, and little pieces of Moroccan life that made the whole stay feel much more meaningful. The camp itself is gorgeous. Our tent wasn’t just a tent it was huge, spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt completely private. The camel ride was something I’ll never forget. They knew the perfect spot to stop for sunset, and watching the sky fade over the dunes felt surreal. Sunrise was just as incredible. And the food… easily the best meal we had in Morocco. We still talk about it. If you’re looking for an intimate desert experience that feels authentic, peaceful, and unforgettable, I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat.

• Henry (10/5): - Perfect Luxury Camp is the amazing escape in the Sahara. The service was outstanding, the tents were stylish and comfortable, and the desert scenery was breathtaking. Every moment, from dinner by the fire to sunrise over the dunes, felt magical.

• Neha (10/5): A truly wonderful place! - The camp combines comfort and simplicity in the heart of nature, offering an unforgettable experience under the magical skies of Merzouga.
• Hatim (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location and accommodation. You have your own toilet and douche with running water, however, the water was cold. Without an additional 50 euro transfer per person, there is no way to reach the accommodation (unless you have a 4x4 vehicle that can drive over the Sahara sand). In my opinion, not including the transfer in the total price or obviously stating that a normal car will not suffice, is very misleading. In addition, the evening program (music) was dissapointing.

Among the many camps available, this one truly stood out. The morning camel ride to watch the sunrise is an absolute must, as is the magical experience of walking into the dunes at night to admire the stars. Off-roading to the camp added an extra element of adventure, and the location near the largest dune provided breathtaking views right from the camp.

From the beginning, everything was well-organized, and we received all the necessary details about our transportation. We decided to take the camels to the camp and return by 4x4. The journey was unforgettable, especially when we stopped in the middle of the dunes to watch the breathtaking sunset. Upon arrival, we were greeted with traditional tea and warm hospitality. The tent was spacious, clean, and equipped with a private bathroom and hot water, which made our stay very comfortable. The food was amazing, both dinner and breakfast were full of flavors and well-prepared. One of the highlights of our stay was the evening entertainment. The camp staff played traditional Berber music with drums, creating a lively and authentic atmosphere. They even taught us how to play along, which was a lot of fun. A big thanks to Youssef for organizing everything perfectly and making us feel welcome. This was truly a unique and unforgettable experience!

The thing I liked the most was watching the sunset; the view was very beatiful and the atmosphere was peaceful. A great experience, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and relaxing place with nice views.
• Ying (9/5): Enjoyable desert camp. - The camel ride was superb! The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a big extra expense for transportation to/from the camp. Camel/4x4. Now I understand every camp does this, plus this camp doesn't necessarily charge more. However, it would be better to let the guests know upfront. The shower water wasn't stable, a lot time it was too cold. Though I understand it may not be easy to make it good all the time.
• Asra (9/5): WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAMP - We had an incredibly comfortable and cozy stay at this clean, modern camp in Merzouga. The dinner was absolutely delicious, and while breakfast was basic, it was of good quality and well-organized. The staff, including Yussef, Sayeed, Amin, and others, were extremely friendly, caring, and thoughtful, making the experience even more memorable. This camp is very well-organized, and after thoroughly researching numerous camps in Merzouga (I’m very picky about my selections!), I can confidently say no one will be disappointed with this choice. A couple of helpful notes: the staff should inform guests that there is no option for credit card payment, so make sure to have an alternative payment method ready. Additionally, their rates for extra activities like camel rides, bike tours, and jeep tours are very reasonable compared to other camps in the area. Highly recommend this camp for an exceptional desert experience! Rents do not have heating or portable heaters so it was very cold night in December. However we understand the risk of heaters in the tents. Hot water was great .

The camp’s commitment to sustainability added depth and meaning to the luxurious setting. Whether it was sipping champagne at sunset or relaxing in our spacious, beautifully designed tent, every moment exuded sophistication and indulgence. It was a remarkable experience from start to finish. Will be good if we bring jackets, outside of the tent very cold, but inside was warm.

On the first day, we did the sunset camel ride, and on the second day, we went on the quads—both experiences were fantastic. Our kids, aged 9 and 7, absolutely loved every moment. Tammie also showed us the camel farm, which was really interesting to see.
