Guest Reviews
- Tara (9/5): Super cool accommodation and convenient location. - Unique place to stay. We being on the boat and it felt really relaxing even though we were in busy London.
- Liam (10/5): Just beyond all expectations - What a stunning place to stay, just so unique and beautifully kept with a great back story! Nothing, perfection, hot but can’t control the heat wave on a bank holiday weekend!
- Andy (10/5): Beautiful place; very relaxing - You simply feel peaceful staying here. The boat’s location is great for everything. Manager was great. Fabulous surroundings and the interior is welcoming and lovely. You can just sit and chill; lovely. It's a very minor poi t, but it was a little bit in the room.
- Florence (10/5): Very cute - So different. Very relaxing and chilled vibes
- Marian (9/5): I was delighted to stay on a barge moored in the Thames and to be in the docklands. - I loved the elegance of the breakfast and the choice of excellent products- smoked fish and charcuterie as well as boiled eggs. The only change I’d make is to offer better bread: the bread on offer seemed like supermarket sliced bread in a packet. There are pastries on offer but good bread is such a treat.
- Carl (8/5): -
- NIGEL (10/5): Please book and support this unique stay - Everything, perfect location, perfect host!!
You can’t believe you’re in the centre of London and so relaxed at the same time.
It’s perfect!
Parking at the side, it was just excellent Nothing

- Tracey (10/5): - Room was very comfortable, high standard and bathroom was luxurious. . Staff were really friendly and helpful, all the guests felt at ease. Very well positioned but very peaceful on board
- Lance MC (8/5): -
- Elisabeth (10/5): - Originalité, accueil, propreté
- Elena (9/5): A delightful, practical and gorgeous floating gem I want people to know of but don't want to share. - The house boat hotel is beautiful. Decorated incredibly well. A hidden gem in the heart of the buzzing wharf. The host has thought of every little detail. Stunning stay and a fun and different accommodation that suits exactly what we love in travel. My bed personally wasn't very comfortable but mattresses are a very personal thing to adult backs.

- Katja (10/5): - Einzigartiges Ambiente, persönliche Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Miteinander
- Stuart (10/5): 2 day trip and whole experience made it very special. - Location and being so unique. N/A
- Luigi (9/5): -
- Banner (10/5): Perfect location for a packed schedule or a relaxed stay. Truly idyllic. - The property is much bigger than I anticipated, really cosy inside, softly lit making it lovely and atmospheric.
Breakfast was amazing, loved how casual and relaxed everything was. I only wish I'd had more time there, our schedule was tight, but I would've loved to enjoy more time to relax on the property. The toilet flush was noisy, but it's expected as it's on a boat. So we don't actually have any complaints.

- James (8/5): A very cool venue to stay to explore London - This is squarely a unique stay experience. Which many times means it lacks something, usually comfort or location. Le Sorelle has a convenient location steps away from public transportation. The creature comforts are in line with an upscale boutique hotel. I wouldn't say I didn't like but wish the front door was a key pad so people of the same room could leave at different times. I sleep less then the rest of my family and typically go for walks and they normally meet me out. But with only 1 key for the boat , we all had to leave together. Also the bathroom in our room had a very large soaking tub with handheld shower head but the holder was broken and there was no door or curtain between the rest of the room and again if you wake early or are a late shower taker you flood the entire room with light.
- Susan (10/5): Restful stay in fantastic accommodation. - Excellent base with easy access via Jubillee line to other parts of London. Very peaceful area. Comfortable bed. Every part of boat clean and tidy. Sabrina, in charge, looked after us exceptionally well. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely continental breakfast. The whole experience was totally relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable.👍👍 Nothing to dislike.
- Gavin (10/5): QUIRKY, FANTASTIC, LOVELY, VERY CLEAN...GREAT HOSTS - I loved everything...it was fantastic and the grand daughter found it all SPECTACULAR!
- Joanna (10/5): -
- Matthew (1/5): - This is a scam, Do not book! We were ghosted by the host, we never got check in details leaving us stranded in London with 2 kids. We now can’t get our money back, we are trying to get it back via booking . Com but they aren’t being helpful and being evasive. We will keep trying. The property doesn’t exist
- Tina (8/5): Beautiful boathouse - Location was great. Our room was lovely. Loved the continental breakfast. Was nice to stay somewhere a little different. The only couple of negatives for me was no TV in room and WI-FI reception. Also the water pumps where very noisy during the night, which woke me up as someone decided to have a shower/bath at 1.15am!
- Tahir (8/5): Good - Location No adequate heating
- Frank (10/5): Heerlijke en bijzondere plek met geweldige gastvrijheid - De gastvrije zeer hartelijke ontvangst Niets
- Davida (9/5): - The breakfast We had our own bathroom but you had to walk to the bathroom throu the communal area.
- Ryan (10/5): - Beautiful, unique property with lovely host, close to transportation and lots of restaurants!
- Teun (10/5): Gezellige fijne plek midden in Londen. - Het schip is heel mooi verbouwd. De omgeving is super stil en toch midden in de stad. Het ontbijt en de gastvrouw waren top. Niets.
- timothy (10/5): - Very interesting place to stay and ideal for a night at the O2, parking makes it a must on my future visits to London. It's a lot more interesting than staying at some chain hotel.

- Alvin (9/5): -
- Judi (10/5): -
- Barbara (10/5): Charming, characterful stay in Canary Wharf - The staff are amazing -- friendly, helpful and professional; the location is great; the ambiance of this boat hotel is exceptional; the breakfast was superb. I booked this room at the last minute for an elder relative who couldn't access our flat due to a broken lift. I hadn't fully appreciated access issues on a boat, but it worked out fine. The staff who weren't expecting a last minute booking did everything they could to help. Our relative was very comfortable and loved her unique overnight in London. Adam and the team are great hosts. There's nothing that we didn't like. Travelers who have access needs should (unlike me!) check before they book. Having said that my 85 year old mother in law who walks with a cane navigated carefully but fine, it just wasn't ideal for her with regard to accessibility -- my fault -- but she absolutely loved her stay.
- Claire (8/5): - We had a great stay at Le Sorelle, really friendly and helpful manager and they provided vegan breakfast options which was brilliant and very much appreciated :) nothing, it is a fabulous option for stays in london
- Abraham (5/5): -
- Sigmar (8/5): - Location was good, the boat looks very nice and is furbished really well. Garbage outside although thats not in theire control ofcourse. The room i stayed in was not for people over 190cm. The ceiling in the bathroom and in the entrance to the room was lowered.
- Tyrer (10/5): Lovely unique stay - Location and uniqueness Can't think of anything
- Andy (9/5): - Great location just by South Quay DLR station and 10 minutes walk from Canary Wharf. Very quiet during the night and super comfortable bed. Fantastically stylish decor. Breakfast was continental only and basic. Also the earliest time for breakfast was 08.00 which is fine on holiday but too late for me on the second day in order to be at Excel for 08.30.
Room was not serviced between the first and second night of the stay.
- Francis (9/5): -
- sarah jane (10/5): Fabulous - Everything Nothing
- Tracey (10/5): - The location, the ambience, the staff, and the facilities.
We had the barge to.ourselves for a couple of nights, and it was peaceful and anaxing.
- Gary (10/5): Hidden Gem - Location to the venue and so unique Nothing at all
- Jay & Rach (9/5): - Adam was great, and incredibly helpful. The room was amazing with a fabulous bathtub. Close to Canary Wharf tube and one stop from the O2 arena. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, and there was a great selection of teas and coffee. Awesome and quirky accommodation! It's pretty minor but there was a bit too much rumbling / clanking from lorries on the nearby bridge. Nothing that could be helped and it's the only reason we didn't give a 10!
- Laura (10/5): Cosy, comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, beautiful. Would go again and recommend to friends - Unique and beautifully curated. Nothing
- Gigliola (9/5): -
- Carol (8/5): Beautiful place, so incredible! - It was a barge, the bath was amazing! The breakfast was very mediocre
- claire (8/5): Lovely little boat hotel - Lovely little boat hotel on the water. Nice and quiet location. Great continental breakfast.
- Steve (9/5): - Peaceful
Location The internet in the cabin was poor
No TV in the room
- Vicky (10/5): Perfect location and accommodation booked as attending a concert at the O2 - Unique beautiful accommodation with very welcoming host
- Good Nana (9/5): Le Sorelle is a beautiful barge in a great location and a refreshing change to staying on land. - Le Sorelle is in a great location, close to DLR station and amenities. The continental breakfast consisted of good quality produce with plenty of choice. Le Sorelle is a beautifully renovated working barge and has a nice flow between the communal rooms, we would definitely stay again.
- J (10/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - Beautiful place! Staff really friendly, food beautiful.
- Margaret Manilow (9/5): -
- Karl (10/5): -
- linda (9/5): A wonderful place to stay instead of a soulless chain hotel - A beautiful Dutch barge with everything you needed with a superb breakfast included Nothing
- Shona (9/5): -
- Benoit (8/5): -
- Michael (8/5): -
- Gareth (10/5): - So charming. Will absolutely be back!
- SIMONA (9/5): -
- Derek (10/5): - The cabin was spacious and had everything needed. Breakfast was excellent.
- Catriona (10/5): A quirky stay - different from your average hotel - A wee gem in the heart of South Quay opposite the DLR station. The rooms were immaculate and good communication.Service was low key and unobtrusive. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet.Plenty of hot water in the shower above the big tub. There is a bar on board. The breakfast was buffet style continental. Fresh pastries, coffee and fruit were replenished when we arrived later than other guests.Although you can see the O2 arena from the barge it’s an 11 minute walk to Canary Wharf tube station or 20 minute walk to the Canary Wharf pier for the Uber boat across. The wall sockets are European but adaptors were supplied. There was wifi in the room.
- Meredith (10/5): Can't recommend more highly - INCREDIBLE such a fabulous play to stay, comfortable and quirky and a bargain
- Alex (8/5): Lovely but expensive for what it is - Very lovely boat ! Breakfast was very poor, it’s a lovely place but could be absolutely amazing. Missing the finer details.
- Günter (8/5): -
- John (8/5): Beautiful experience but privacy and noisey - Great breakfast, best croissant in London Staff rather cold,
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic stay in a beautiful boat! - Everything, stunning location, lovely clean rooms, amazing decor. The hosts were incredibly lovely too! We knew travelling in a tube strike would be hard but they made us feel at ease, ordered us a taxi to the O2 so we could get there without having to worry about missing the NTAs. Highly recommend and I hope to come back and stay again!
- Kenneth (10/5): A beautifully quirky hotel... I can't wait to go back again! - Breakfast was beautifully laid out in the lower dining lounge, where I could help myself to a wide variety of standard items. It was self-service, all I could eat, take as much time as I wanted, and fresh! The whole hotel is fitted into a renovated river barge, with exceptional interior design and all the best quality modcoms. I wish I could have stayed there longer! I chose badly and tried to approach the hotel / boat from the Elizabeth Line Tube station. I should have come on the DLR and I could disembarked right at the boat. But either I didn't read the fine print, or it wasn't emphasized that of the two available stations,... the DLR would have been the better choice.

- Kate (10/5): - Great location for the O2 and Greenwich. Really heloful and friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable cabins and delicious breakfast. Many thanks!
- Marc (8/5): -
- Personalpangea (10/5): The most unique stay I've had in Europe. Loved it! - I had booked for the Billie Eilish concert at the O2, and I had flown into London City Airport, so this was a super convenient location. I had some doubts about staying on a houseboat and that it might be noisy, but I need not have worried. It was quiet and stunningly beautiful. I met the owners on my final day and complemented them on the design and interior design. It is so incredibly designed and personal. Like living in someone's home, which it had been. Would love to have been able to open the port holes in my bedroom as it was hot, but were sealed shut.
- Craig (10/5): - Great stay
- Malcolm (8/5): Would do that again - Quirky nature Didn’t serve alcohol
- Monika (10/5): - It was my husband's birthday and i planned a weekend there. I must say that it was such a great experience, especially because of hosts being so nice and accommodating. Loved every bit about it, mught visit again.
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was just perfect, from the booking in to the checking out, Kathy and her Husband were the perfect hosts Nothing, everything was perfect
- Mark (9/5): Minor quibbles but otherwise so perfect I could live here! - Fantastic place - location is superb, right outside South Quay DLR station but quiet and with easy access to my intended destination. Interior of the vessel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and barring a few minor quibbles I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely book again if available when I'm next visiting! Only small things - room was great but the shower could maybe use a tune-up and it was a hot day in London so an extra fan in the room would have been appreciated. Breakfast was a simple affair with fruit, ham, croissants and cream cheese but there wasn't a lot of it and nobody seemed to be on hand to refill the OJ and coffee pots (which was quite badly stewed!)
- Andrew (10/5): - Unique accommodation, very comfortable and relaxed and brilliant location
- Radu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): - This was my first stay and it far exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect the host and his partner very friendly the breakfast was amazing and it made my workday so much better.
- Dylan (8/5): Very good - The vibe and room The breakfast
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (10/5): - One of the nicest and most unusual hotels I’ve stayed in! Just beautiful, with lovely staff and amazing rooms and delicious food…highly recommended!
- Gudrun (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully worked over ship with everything needed in the room and a very pretty and functional bath room. The bed was very comfortable and all the wood around the room gives it a special atmosphere. Breakfast was continental with everything needed provided.
I also enjoyed the location very much, it gives you the opportunity to explore a different side of well know London. Canary wharf is great developed area where you find green oasis as well as delucious food and cool bars.
Chatting to the very symathetic owners revealed a bit of the boat' s history. In general a great, relaxed stay and a great location to explore London without getting drowned by masses of people! All good!
- Sarah (8/5): Wonderful place to stay! Breakfast needs tweaking!! - We loved this barge! Great place to stay that is out of the ordinary, super location, quiet at night even right in the middle of Docklands, friendly staff, beautiful lounge, comfy bed, decent bathroom, very clean throughout, even has it's own library! I had read the poor feedback about breakfasts and decided to book anyway. My hopes were raised when I saw the wonderful stainless steel kitchen...but, no, kitchen under utilized, no cooked breakfast, so yes breakfast was disappointing. Yogurt and fresh fruit were lovely but cheap 50/50 bread and own brand cornflakes rather a let down. Surely it would be possible to provide a decent sourdough bread or overnight oats etc? If breakfast were to be improved this would be 10/10 experience. No hook on wall for shower head.
- Andrea (9/5): Very enjoyable just wish the weather was better so the roof could have been opened. - Unique property, small and friendly, nice to stay somewhere a little different. Only continental breakfast available and in limited quantities. Eating later during the time slot resulted in less options to choose from as the plates were not topped up and there were no staff in the dining area to help. Despite that what was available was good.
- Hannah (8/5): Lovely stay - Looks can be deceiving, very big and spacious inside. Rooms smaller then pictures but still plenty of room, nice sized bathroom, storage cupboard with hangers and robes
- Katie (5/5): Nice boat and location, no staff, no breakfast. - Its a sweet boat, nicely decorated. Its quiet and a good location. It is overpriced. We didn't see s ingle member of staff the entire time. The breakfast table was piled high with dirty plates. There was no breakfast left - we found 1 croissant, 11 blueberries, 3 strawberries, a warm yogurt, a bunch of green inedible bananas. The butter was almost gone and there was a bag of the cheapest bread you could toast. For £240 I would expect service, a clean table, hot coffee and some food to eat.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Great location
Friendly host
Comfortable room
Amazing bath,very deep!
Loved all the quirky artefacts Breakfast could be improved- hot chocolate, hard boiled eggs and pain au chocolat or muffins would give a slightly wider choice than currently available
- Xuan-Trang (10/5): - We were only there for one night; the boat was lovely. It was near many restaurants, so it was convenient for us to get dinner. Wish we had more time there.
