• Frunko (8/5): Great stay - Quiet area, nice rooms, great coffee options, some free snacks. In North Conway you will find plenty of great coffee places, restaurants and local shops. Two weeks prior to arrival, I informed the property that I would be using a data-only mobile plan during my time in the USA. I specifically requested that all check-in information, including access codes, be sent via WhatsApp or Booking.com chat. Unfortunately, because the property's customer service is outsourced to the Philippines, this request was missed, resulting in a frustrating and difficult check-in experience.

• Nathan (9/5): Great stop on our New England roadtrip - Appreciated the communication from staff beforehand that we would be in a non-pet friendly room as my wife is allergic to dogs and cats. Loved being in the main building with the large living room common space. The room was cozy and comfortable with nice decor. Location was in the right spot for our New England roadtrip. Grateful for the few breakfast items available before we continued on the road the next day. We were glad to have access to the mini fridge in the main common area, but it would be great to have a mini fridge in our own room. The fridge was full when we arrived and needed some space.

The Aurora is hands-down one of the best value stays near Attitash and Bear Notch!

• Liza (7/5): Great value for charming place - The inn is charming and rooms are spacious. Caretakers are kind and helpful. Without a human check-in, it might help to have room instructions in a welcome packet when you enter. I requested a room with a bathtub (I believe there are only three), and within 5 minutes of running hot water, the water went cold! I had to fill the tub in stages to take a bath, which was not very relaxing. Also, the door codes are tricky. It takes a beat for the keypad to even activate to enter a code and then the light goes off quickly so it takes a few tries to lock and unlock every time.
• bright (4/5): Basic and clean stay - The room was very clean and seemed like it was recently done over. The bedroom of the cabins were nice. The coffee machine in the main inn was not working. The bedrooms of the little cabins were nice but the main sitting area of the cabin was sterile. They needed a rug or a lamp or something. It felt very basic and not warm at all. The bathrooms were clean but had an obvious mouse trap and definitely need a structural update. The inn is fine and basic. It served its purpose but we wouldn't return.

• John (1/5): Sorry Not Sorry!!! - Nothing!!! Terrible!! Never Again!!! Everything No Heat, No tv ..... Called and spoke to 2 desk clerk's told them we vacated the property because of reasons above!!! Especially No Heat with it being 36° outside!!! Called booking.com wasn't the room we had chose on website when making reservation!! I'm hoping that they do the right thing and refund our money back as we are very disappointed with no outcome!

I hope to be able to come back more times My only struggle was with the pillows but nothing that could be blamed on the room or staff. Both my mom and I have neck pain and we need lower/thinner pillows with a cervical curve to accommodate our needs, unfortunately I forgot to bring our own pillows and suffered with the tall pillows. But again, that's not something I would complain about since I know I need my own pillow, but maybe suggest to keep a spare thin one in the closet?

• Tiffany (9/5): Beautiful space, with thoughtful touches in an old home. - The property itself was beautiful inside and out. The common areas were well-decorated and offered engaging activities (games, books, crystals, chakra sprays and snacks) or spaces to just lounge (living room, pool, sauna). The front porch is lovely and everything was quiet for the most part. The snack area was awesome, though a larger fridge plus freezer is necessary if this is advertised for all guests. If guests are expected to label their food, labels and a pen should be left at the fridge. We had issues with our doors (Bartlett). The keypad malfunctioned every single time before finally allowing us to enter the code. The bathroom door is malformed for the frame as this is an older home and the doorframe has settled. So, it is nearly impossible to open the bathroom door from the inside or outside if it is shut. It catches at the top corner opposite the hinges. Again, it is nearly impossible to open once shut. The bathroom also needs a vent that works—both for smells and for humidity. It was a tropical rainforest in there.

We sent a message to the property and was told someone would come by our room, which never happened. I didn't sleep because I'm terrified of rodents, so the next day I was exhausted during my hike up Mounts Eisenhower and Pierce.

• Irina (8/5): Nice place to stay for a couple of days. - The location is right off the highway, and there's a nice fire pit seating area. Unfortunately, there was no wood available to make a fire. Check-in was easy, and the room was small but nice, with very good pillows, which is a rare find. The wall thermostat was not synchronized with the unit; you need to adjust the mode and temperature right on the unit. As soon as we figured it out, all was fine.

• Victoria (8/5): Lovely, quiet spot with gorgeous decor and a barrel sauna! - The decor is lovely, the mattresses were super comfortable, and we really appreciated the access to the common space and the coffee bar (with snacks!). The barrel sauna was a definite bonus as well. It was easy to access our room, and the check in and check out processes were very simple. It snowed a tiny bit before we got in and the drives were not plowed, so we ended up walking through quite a bit of slush. Additionally, while there was a blow dryer, there was no outlet in the bathroom to use it with and we had to move a dresser to find it. Otherwise it was great though!

• Yue (7/5): Self service renovated motel - It is a newly renovated motel. Everything in rooms is new and clean. Room is warmer. They provide coffee, water and snacks in living room. All interactions between guests and property are through texts. Don’t see host throughout the stay. Guests have to self service themselves to get soaps from storage and shovel snow. The check out time is 10am, but by 9am the driveway is not plowed and door steps are not shoveled. Guests have to shovel snow on their own.
• Annlyn (2/5): Not impressed. - Space The heat in our room didn’t work and we searched for an hour to find the thermostat. Never found it, staff did not answer the phone and our room was 62 degrees all night. Also the rooms had NO TV nor did it state there was no tv.

Beautifully decorated. Great tea and coffee facilities and board games to play. Lovely clean bedrooms. There were no staff on site and being the only guests it felt quite soulless. A number of text messages during the stay with requests to pay additional fees including a late checkout fee from 10am to 11am. Felt a little brittle in the communication. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the washbasin had no hot water.

• Amanda (7/5): While the overall facility looked nice and was clean, the lack of communication about the fireplace being out of order a - Clean, modern, well-designed. Comfortable and plentiful linens. The gas fireplace in our room didn’t work (and no one notified of us about this in advance, even though another option was available when we booked). This was already a downside, and then we lost power, which meant losing all heat sources in December. The shower was TINY!!!!

• Crestina (10/5): A MUST Stay!! - The Aurora was Beautiful, newly renovated and the owner was very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend and we will return again.
• David (4/5): Disappointing - Like the room, it was clean and the area was good. Wifi sucks, took 3 hours to wacth a 1 hour movie. Lost power the 1st night was in complete darkness for about 4 hours no TV, absolutely no internet.

• Marcella (10/5): The Aurora was one of the best places we stayed in New England. - We truly enjoyed our stay at the Aurora. We stayed in the Sawyer. The rooms exceeded expectations and the bed was super comfy. The fireplace in the bedroom was so cozy and kept us nice and warm. The rooms were nice and clean and the chocolates were a nice treat. The lighting in the kitchen area needs to be brighter or add some under the shelf above the hot plate. It was hard to see because the overhead light cast a shadow when you are trying to cook. The bathroom, super functional, but a little tight. Maybe replace the chest/drawers with a mirrored vanity area as it was hard to dry hair and put on makeup at the bathroom sink.

• Romie (6/5): Nice location, but too expensive for what was lacking - The location was really nice There was a very bad WiFi connection, the Parker house contained a shower which had a very low water pressure and almost no water coming out of the shower, there was a fire pit with wood, but no tools to turn it on.
• Taina (9/5): lovely place for any style of trip - very clean, beautifully decorated, you can see everything has quality and good taste. my room had a beautiful view to a trail and it was peaceful my only issue was with the tv that didn't work but I spent most of my time outdoors so that was not a huge inconvenience

• Jeanne (8/5): Overall very nice stay. Would stay again but get a larger cabin next time. - Location was good. Close enough to North Conway to eat there but away from the busyness. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. We did not use the pool or sauna so can’t comment on those. Nor the fire pit as it was raining. Seems like it would be a fun place for a family reunion or large group. The bathroom was very tiny. Price was maybe a little high.
• Clara (8/5): Very good - The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The accommodation itself is charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean! Very quiet area and nice outside area. The self check in was easy! - The WiFi in our room was extremely unreliable, constantly disconnecting and making it difficult to stay connected. - Water « pressure » was ridiculous, making it very difficult to take a proper shower. - Insufficient storage space, with no shelves or even hooks to hang jackets or other belongings.
• Emily (10/5): Cute modern cabins - Modern and lovely decor little cabins. Super comfortable. Customer service was fantastic. Great location and convenient for everything we wanted to see. Wish we could have stayed longer. Booking.com made it look like we were getting a sofa bed as well as a bed. They kindly upgraded us the next night.

• Ephraim (8/5): Very good - Good location. Reasonable price. Convenient parking next to the cottage. Very clean. Looks to be new. Small room, small bathroom. A bit too compact. Could hear the neighbors. There is no table or chair in the room. There is a table and 2 chairs on the porch. Yet, the weather was a challenge
• Kevin (7/5): We would absolutely return to stay at the Aurora. We would choose a different room with more amenities. - Very clean, great location, and the owners were awesome! Nothing wrong with the property at all. We unfortunately booked a room with no amenities like a refrigerator or desk. The room was clean but very small. Again, not the fault of anyone but us for choosing the room.
• Walsh (10/5): Wonderful stay at beautiful Aurora Inn - The stay was excellent! The property was so beautiful and our room (Crawford Suite) was so lovely. It was exactly as pictured and a nice surprise was a door to close off to 2 rooms! I would love to come stay here again! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our need to be feather free, and made sure we were comfortable. The fire pits on property were great, and there was a neat barrel sauna and pool. They even left little chocolate truffles for us!
• Diana (8/5): Overall place is nice and we would like to come back. - Place is clean and pretty. Beautiful location, close to restaurants and trails. Has two fireplaces, little sauce and pool. Room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. We also got wood for the fireplace for free, unfortunately we didn’t have fire, so was not able to use it, but appreciate place was thinking about guests. Water pressure is the shower was horrible, water was dripping and make it almost impossible to take shower after a long day of hiking. In our room wi-fi was low, we couldn’t use it. We didn’t have any place in the room to put clothes, no hooks or little dresser, we literally had to leave clothes on the floor, not even chair in the room.
