• Ben (7/5): Short but sweet - Owner was lovely. Clean accommodation. Close to town. Not the owners fault but the electricity not being on for 8 hours was tough, nothing to do with the hotel but a Port Barton wide issue.

The accommodation is located perfectly in the heart of Port Barton, close to the beach and all the lovely little cafes. The lady who runs the place was really looking after us and our daughter played with hers a lot during the stay which was great also. Everything was all good, thank you

The place is set in a charming rural location, full of character and surrounded by a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. My triple room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. What really made the stay exceptional, though, was the host. Incredibly kind and attentive, the lady went above and beyond to help me: even assisting in cutting a lock that had gotten stuck, and arranging my transport to the airport seamlessly. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality combined with such a beautiful setting.

• Patricia (4/5): - Nos gustó la ubicación ya que está en la carretera principal y el trato con el personal es muy cercano y están atentos a todo. Había leído mensajes de que había muchos bichos, al principio no lo pensé pero el primer día ya nos dimos cuenta que estaba lleno de cacas de Gekos (no sabía ni que eran, y la verdad que me fue muy incómodo dormir allí cuatro días), por las noches empiezan a corretear por el tejado, haciendo su ruido típico y casi imposible dormir porque parece que se te va a caer el tejado encima, realmente parece que hay ratas corriendo por el tejado, aunque sean los gekos... Pedimos cambio de habitación, y la chica muy amable nos enseñó la habitación de abajo... Pero suerte que antes de decir que si vimos una araña gigantesca y al final preferimos quedarnos arriba con los gekos aunque no consiguiesemos casi dormir ninguna noche... Se que realmente no es justo que sea una critifca porqué estás en medio de u npueblo con vegetación y es normal, pero en mi caso no puede estar tranquila ni descansar ningún día.

• Heidrun (9/5): Sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig - Becca hat sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste gekümmert. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem ruhigen großen Grundstück und ist trotzdem mitten am Ortskern. Das war praktisch. Zum Strand und zum Van Transfer kann man laufen. Der Duschraum war top. Klein, aber wunderschön gemacht. Mit Regendusche. Immer warmes Wasser. Die Holzkunst war beeindruckend. Die Stühle auf der Terrasse könnten etwas bequemer sein. Gerne auch Plastikstühle mit angenehmer Lehne. Am Strand muss man eben das Würfelquallen Problem im Blick haben. Das trübt die Urlaubsstimmung. Das Wasser ist trüb. Man sieht sie nicht. Schilder weisen aber darauf hin. Es sind kaum Leute im Wasser. Aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts.

• Mia (8/5): Comfortable stay in a great location :) - The room was spacious with very comfy beds. The host, Becca, was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. After check out there was still shower facilities to use, so we could shower before heading for our bus. Prime location just a few minutes walk from the beach. The wifi didn’t reach inside the rooms. If you don’t like bugs, this place isn’t for you.

• Eric (8/5): Very good accomodation for Family and Barkada - Very cozy place and relaxing. Big room and can fit a Family of 4. The hotel manager is so accomodating on our requests. Nothing much to comment on here as all the basic requirements have been fulfilled by the place.

• Colton (1/5): JBR Tourist Inn treated us amazing, go there instead. - After paying online and traveling 4 hours to Port Barton they tell us theres no rooms left, a mistake on their part. Says they will only refund us in cash, then tried to give us less than what we paid. Only after refusing to accept that they told us to request free cancellation on booking.com and theyd accept. Which we did, but then that left us with nowhere to sleep…. and its not easy to find places to stay in PB. Really annoyed us and they didnt seem to even care. Wouldnt stay here if it were free.

• Julie (10/5): Heerlijk - Heerlijke bedden, heerlijke regendouche, perfecte locatie midden in port barton (alles was op loopafstand te bereiken), de gastvrouw en haar dochtertje waren echt super lief.
• Elena (8/5): - Centrally located very close to the van terminal, beach and places to eat. Spacious triple room with a good size double bed, a hot shower separate from wc and sink area. Ac, safe,Toiletries and hairdryer in the room. Spacious balcony area with table and chairs. Becca was very nice and helpful, gave us a kettle and mugs for our own coffee; we rented a scooter easily for 500 pesos a day. They have termites eating away at the wood in the room, not a problem for us but they might want to fix it. In the land next door they lit fires daily to burn coconuts and leaves with smoke getting into our room.

• Anne Marie (5/5): - It was a nice and beautiful room. The shower was fantastic. However, I have to give a lower score due to overbooking. We had paid and received confirmation two weeks in advance. Still, no rooms were available when we arrived, so we had to stay elsewhere the first night. This is unprofessional and poor customer service.

• Louis (10/5): Confortable, spacieux et personnel hyper sympathique - La chambre est spacieuse, la literie confortable, les wc séparés de la douche, une belle pression à la douche comme pour le reste des sanitaires (c’est assez rare pour le souligner), et surtout l’hyper gentillesse de Beka. Cette dame est charmante, toujours disponible pour nous aider dans nos recherches de sorties, pour effectuer des réservations etc …. Le seul regret: ne pas y être resté plus longtemps

• Iraida (7/5): Un alojamiento muy auténtico - El entorno en el que está es maravilloso, al lado de un campo de arroz. Te despiertas con unas vistas muy bonitas. La anfitriona es muy amable y atenta a cualquier cosa que necesites. Te da mucha libertad y seguridad. El alojamiento se trata de dos apartamentos de 4 habitaciones cada uno (de dos plantas), muy acogedor y muy tranquilo. Teniamos una planta entera para nosotros ya que la compartiamos con otra pareja de amigos. Las habitaciones limpias y con mosquiteras en todas las ventanas y puertas. El baño muy limpio y moderno dentro del entorno (importante: la ducha estaba separada del baño. Cosa difícil de encontrar en filipinas jajaja). La ubicación es excelente, ya que ibamos caminando a todos los sitios en 5 minutos, y si no, tienes un Tuk tuk en la puerta esperando para llevarte a cualquier lado por 2 o 3€. Por decir alguna cosa, el aire acondicionado hacia un poco de ruido y daba directamente a la cama, así que o estabas helado o tenías mucho calor.
• Mario (6/5): - Estaba en la calle principal, a una calle de la playa, cerca de la estación. La dueña que lo lleva es súper agradable, súper atenta en todo momento, nos facilitó los tours y el alquiler de la moto. Las camas eran bastante cómodas, habitaciones amplias y la presión de la ducha muy buena. Al principio nos dieron una habitación donde habían 3 salamandras. Sin problema nos cambiaron a otra. No tiene persianas, y las cortinas no son lo suficiente opacas como para tapar la luz por la mañana. La habitación estaba limpia pero al ser toda de madera y oscura no da esa impresión. Y la madera está un poco vieja y hay algunos agujeros que otros que sinceramente a mí no me daba mi tranquilidad. Nos encontramos algún bicho que otro, al estar en medio de tanta planta pues es normal. Sinceramente vas a pasar 2 noches o así, está bien. Pero para estancias más largas no lo recomendaría.
• Gareth (8/5): Chill Out in Port Barton. - Spacious, comfortable room set back from the road in it's own gardens. 5 minutes walk to everything you need in Port Barton - beach, restaurants, bars and the bus station. Friendly staff. Can book island tours if you want. Port Barton is a quiet town for chilling out by the beach. Toilet a bit difficult to flush but no major problem.

Would recommend to anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Port Barton Some insects (not many) managed to get into our room on the top floor.
• Christine (10/5): We will be back - Location mainly although for some, it may be the opposite since most tourist like staying in isolated areas and this was in the center. There was plenty of space for us to park our motorbikes, a hose to wash them down and make a few adjustments. The food was good and swrvice from Mdm. Becca was great! The address on booking.com lead to a different place up on the hill

• Filip (9/5): Superb - Becca was wonderful host and rooms are spaceous and clean. Roosters woke us up every morning at dawn, which is maybe not a bad thing. I would advise more options for breakfast as they offer only omlete and a piece of fruit usually banana. We would have enjoyed various fruit salad mix or granola or pancake for example.

Great wifi, own powerline, hot water. They offer services such a scooter rental, massages and bus rides. Highly recommend this place ☺️ The only down was that there was no fridge.
