Guest Reviews
- Selamat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tushar (5/5): Great potential, not quite realised yet. - The food was great. The room is spacious. The air-conditioning is great. The staff are flexible and accommodating. They provided soap. The bedding was clean. The house is spacious and beautiful. The location is terrible in that the access road is difficult to drive on (and might not be passable in wet weather). It's close to the beach but there is no access to the beach, one must drive 4 km to access a beach. The bathroom and toilet were not clean, and there was a big spider hiding behind unsealed tiles. There was no toilet paper. The wifi was not working. I think it's overpriced, but it could be a great place if they fix the above. Despite the description saying that staff speak English, only 1 staff member speaks minimum English. It appears that the only language they speak is malayalam because other languages like hindi, telegu and tamil were not understood by staff.
- Douglas (8/5): Nice stay - Beautiful colonial house in its own grounds. We were well looked after by the house sitters, although no English was spoken nor understood, which made things slightly difficult..
We were fed good quality home food but were charged at the end , which is absolutely fine but not made clear at the beginning.
It has the most amazing beach across the road. It's very remote but absolutely beautiful , with back waters to the rear
I kind of get the impression that we were the first people to stay there.
In all, it was a good experience, and the food was amazing.
Just be aware of hidden charges. It said it had a bar on description, but it did not have one.
