• Kevin (10/5): Beautiful , Serene, Cozy - On Arrival we were personally greeted by the host. There are some steps and we arrived with a lot of lugguage but our luggage was personally taken to our room by the host. We were aware of this before booking and we were ok with it. The view from the property down is amazing. Beautiful sunset view. Private cozy home. Internet works perfet Toilets and kitchen were just perfect. The only thing we regret was we needed more time in this property we booked only for 2 nights we should have booked more. There is nothing to dislike in this property.

• Roland (10/5): Danke für einen tollen Aufenthalt - Die Inhaberin hat sich sehr nett gekümmert, insbesondere als wir das WLAN nicht zum Laufen bekamen. Sie und ihre Familie haben geholfen, das Gepäck die ungleichmäßigen Stufen runter und rauf zu tragen. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Wenn man die wegen des Windes schweren Stühle versetzt, findet man fast immer ein Sonnenplätzchen draußen mit tollem Blick. Katzenallergiker könnten Probleme bekommen, da die Katze des Hauses recht anhänglich ist und gern durch die Tür schlüpfen würde. Aber das war kein Thema für uns. Das Auto steht auf der Straße, aber die Gegend scheint sicher zu sein. (war aber auch bekannt) Wir haben keine Stachelschweine gesehen (aber natürlich auch nicht angefüttert!)

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with information about the area and local attractions. The studio was exceptionally comfortable with everything one would need and more. The garden and surrounds provided a peaceful atmosphere. The studio provides complete privacy. Unfortunately we were not able to use the inviting pool due to the weather. A few hooks in bathroom would be a good addition to the amazing comforts of the studio.

We had a flat tire, and he went out of his way to help us. It was raining and she ran in the rain to give us umbrellas. The flat is a bit away from the house, so it is perfect if you want a bit of privacy.

• Nick (10/5): - We had the most amazing stay at Sunset Haven! Patricia and Lester are great hosts, really kind, have an amazing energy and supported us with everything. The apartment is fantastic with great views over the bay, an always clean private pool and a beautiful garden with sunbirds. We fully recommend this place, you should absolutely stay here when visiting the Cape Peninsula. We definetly make sure to book again, the next time we're around!

Very accommodating for remote workers, if you would like to work from home away from home it was perfect. Wifi was great speed we could connect multiple devices at the same time. Private pool right at our door step. It was a great working vacation would definitely love to go back and do more site seeing. Absolutely nothing everything was perfect.

The warm welcome from both of them the little things they put effort in making us feel right at home. From the note you get and the little snacks in the room. The sheets very luxurious the home very spacious it has everything you can think. The backyard is to die for the views are worth every dollar. If you’re looking to explore Simons town see the penguins this is the home you should book.

• Christina (10/5): - Es war ein Traumurlaub bei Patricia und Lester,Gastgebern, Sunset Haven Glencairn Heights. So was hab noch nie erlebt. Die Unterkunft sehr,sehr sauber. Da waren sogar Kerzen, Räucherstäbchen, Bücher. Wunderschön eingerichtet das Häuschen, die Küche komplett ausgestattet, es war in der Küche wirklich alles dabei. Wunderschöner Garten mit Pool hab nur für mich alleine gehabt. Die Aussicht auf das Ozean, einfach phantastisch. Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Mit Patricia haben wir unvergessliche Tour in die Berge gemacht. Bei kleinen Problemen haben mir beide sofort geholfen. Ich habe mich dort gefühlt als ob ich meine Freunde, die ich schon Ewigkeit kenne, besucht hätte. Ich habe mich dort so gut gefühlt. Wir sind Jetzt Freunde geworden. Dankeschön Liebe Pat und Lester. Ich komme wieder. Ich kann die traumhafte Unterkunft vom ganzen Herzen weiterempfehlen.

• Tara (10/5): Perfect, peaceful, safe accommodation close to major Cape Town sights - Every single thing about this property was perfect, even better than imagined! The hosts are an absolutely wonderful family and thought of everything, the studio is fully stocked with all necessities and even provided some coffee, milk, eggs, and spices to use when cooking. The bed and bedding is luxurious and comfortable, the bathroom is a great size with a nice shower, and the gardens all around the property are so beautiful. One of the best parts was their kitty Patches who came to check on us and visit every day :) Nothing at all, everything was great!

• Julia (9/5): Klare Empfehlung - Die Aussicht wunderschön, die Gastgeber ganz herzlich und super lieb,, die Lage perfekt, sicher, Supermarkt und Tankstelle in der Nähe. Die Wohnung, Zimmer, Küche war einfach toll, nicht riesig, aber völlig ausreichend. Genau das richtige für uns. Das war schon alles sehr gut. Wir würden wieder kommen! Das warme Wasser war schwierig, aber wenn man sich dran gewöhnt hat, auch voll ok. Man hatte warmes Wasser, sogar heiß, nur etwas schwierig einzustellen. Es gibt einige Treppen zu bewältigen nach unten zu der Wohnung, aber alles gut zu machen. Muss man vllt nur wissen, wenn man nicht so fit ist.

The property itself is in such a beautiful location with amazing views of the ocean. The pool and BBQ, paired with a delightful glass of South African wine, create a perfect braai experience. The room itself is beautifully done and fully stocked with everything you need and more to make your stay comfortable. Pat and Lester were undoubtedly the best hosts we've ever had. Always on hand to help when they could and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible (thank you for the amazing little touches including the homemade cookies and muffins :). We cannot recommend this property enough and can't wait to come back :). Nothing, everything was perfect!
• Kgatla (10/5): Definitely the best place to stay in Cape Town. - Everything!! I felt like I was in Puerto Rico, the hosts were amazing from check in til check out. The kitchen had all the utilities to make our stay comfortable. The beach is just a walk away and the place is so peaceful for a good nights sleep. I will definitely be coming back to do all the activities around the area and for a much longer stay. Nothing.

• Cheyne (10/5): Exceptional - We only stayed for one night but wished we could've stayed longer. The little cottage was very clean, neat and had everything you could possibly need! (even a sewing kit!). Pat was very helpful and well organised. There was a info packet for services, activities and shops in the area. The little gift basket with biscuits, chocolate and fruit was a very thoughtful addition. The pool was crystal clear and very refreshing on a hot summers day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will hopefully be back in the future! Nothing!

The hosts were absolutely fantastic, thanks Pat for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The pool area and BBQ area was really relaxing. We will definitely come back again and we can't recommend this place enough to others. There is nothing really that we didn't like about the place. Though for those that are unable to use stairs, it could be difficulty to access.

You feel absolutely welcome and at home. The views were amazing, the place was exceptionally clean, and we had a private courtyard with pool & braai area.

They're the sweetest people to be around and so welcoming and accommodating. It would be wrong not to return, let alone revisit the place and the people. I didn't like that I left as soon as I did. I wish I could've extended my visit. Only issue was mainly where it's located in relation to where the hubs of entertainment are...which gives it the unique charm that it has.
