Guest Reviews
- John Arthur (10/5): - It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic retreat.
- Wendy (10/5): - Our stay in Lincoln, Maine was absolutely wonderful! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway, but what really made the trip unforgettable was the town of Lincoln.
Lincoln is truly a hidden gem in Maine. The area is surrounded by stunning lakes that are perfect for kayaking, swimming, or simply taking in the peaceful views. There are plenty of trails for hiking and exploring, which made it easy to spend the whole day outdoors. After our adventures, we loved heading into town for shopping and enjoying the local restaurants—every meal felt warm, welcoming, and full of that Maine charm.
What stood out the most was how everything felt so close and accessible, yet still peaceful and quiet. Lincoln has the perfect balance of natural beauty and small-town convenience. It really is a magnificent place to visit, and we can’t wait to come back again!
- Ida (10/5): - Great guy quite place clean
- linda (10/5): - schlafman's hollow stay was very pleasant scott the propriator was very nice an' communicative
would stay again an' have already recommended to others
- Michelle (10/5): - I needed last minute accommodations, and wanted something different than just another motel. This place was PERFECT. Absolutely cozy and comfortable cabin, a lovely outdoor space to relax or stargaze, and a very friendly host who has clearly put care and effort into this space. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a “glamping” type stay, and it was well above my expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer!
- Jacalyn (10/5): - Scott was a fantastic host! Everything was clean and comfortable, he was very accommodating and super friendly! Would definitely stay here again!!
- Dalton (10/5): - Great all around, real nice owner
- Ida (10/5): - Love the property nice and quiet
- Stacie (10/5): Cabin in the Woods - The owner Scott was fantastic to communicate with, he met us at our car and gave us the "5 cent tour" as he called it 😊 there was 2 cabins, that offered a outside shower, an area to prepare meals, and a porter potty. We look forward to going back sometime in the future. A definite must see and stay! 10/10
- Debra (10/5): - This place was so relaxing, close to town but no crazy traffic. Beautiful area of Maine. Scott was so attentive to his guests, making sure we had everything we needed. Cabins are very clean and cute. We will stay there again!!
- Jim (10/5): - It was fun camping but with a bed to sleep in and owner was very friendly and helpful
- Andrea (10/5): Best experience - Loved our stay here, owner was amazing I will be staying here again
- Mark (8/5): - We liked that it was all solar power. It looks like it is a farely new business and with time and word of mouth they are going to do great.
