- Rekha (1/5): Very very disappointing!! - The location was good
The property had so many issues. It was a disappointing experience!! The entry door and hallway was dirty and muddy. The bins were not emptied. The carpet was strained and dirty . The dishwasher was broken nobb and not working . The door handle had paints n dirty to touch .
- Carol (5/5): Needs some TLC & refurbished, so many problems internally - Location Condition of Appartment, was dirty, chairs were stained, both shower heads need replacing one leaked & one didn’t stay up. Toilet brushes were absolutely disgusting, wardrobe shelving was rusty as was the clothes airer, fire sprinkler was push through ceiling & had paper blocking the hole. None of the windows opened as the winders & side clips were broken. There were renovations(painting) happening in the passage which was all plastic covered & taped off, we were not informed about this or that the exit road from the carpark was being relaid which blocked the exit from the carpark. Good location, Comfy beds but that’s all that was good.

- Renee (5/5): Dirty - The view at night was amazing. It wasn't clean like U would expect when U pay good money, it was dusty and the bathrooms weren't very clean
- Karen (5/5): Wouldn't stay here again. This is a money maker investment for someone and needs a good clean. - Collecting the keys was a nightmare. We couldn't find the lockbox place and when we did we couldn't access. When someone finally called back struggled to understand them and discovered they hadn't sent me the QR code needed to access. Wasted 2 hours trying to get into the building. Very frustrated, hot, sweaty and annoyed by the time we worked it all out. The lock box is in Southern Cross Station which is nowhere near the accommodation and quite challenging when we had a car.
The carpet was dangerous for tripping as it was gathered and took away any niceness of the space as soon as you walked in. The beds were uncomfortable. The couch was tiny. The balcony had a rusty old clothes hanger on it and was filthy so couldn't enjoy that. Everything needed a good clean.
- damon (8/5): overall happy with the apartment for our stay. great location - location was great -beds where a little to hard
-carpet needs to be stretched
-ensuite shower head needs replacing
-an option for a second phob would be handy
-a slightly bigger sofa would be handy for families with kids
- Patrick (8/5): - the hosts were reasonable with an early check in which was useful as it was on new years eve. They were responsive and also gave us the option of a late check out (even at a slight cost) we found this very helpful.
- Derryn (6/5): - Location Shower head kept falling off
Keys were difficult to collect and required 2 different Ubers
Communication was slow
Door lock was annoying locked myself inside the apartment
- Natalie (7/5): Overall enjoyable. Location is excellent, view unreal and generally a good place to stay - Location, view, pool. Southbank is quiet and accessible to city. We discovered a new side of Melbourne which was great for those who have visited before. Shops nearby, wine shop around the corner a good find and pool lovely. Coffee next door is great too The dishwasher is broken/makes lots of noise and knob broken.
No spatula for cooking
Sofa bed is not a bed and very uncomfortable
Would be good to have 2 door tabs when in a group to access accommodation if seperated.

- Deb (9/5): The location was excellent for our stay. We had lots of room and the property was safe and convenient. - There was plenty of room for a family of four, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The key collection was quite difficult. We drove from Adelaide and it meant we had to go into the cbd to the train station to get the key before we could park the car in the building. It took us over an hour to get the key. Clearer instructions on where the car park entry was would be beneficial for future guests.
The property was fairly clean but would benefit from a deep clean.
- Yvonne (7/5): Good location and quiet - Good location
Really friendly people in the Building You get what you pay for so this property reflects that. It’s priced accordingly. It’s just an older Property, so whilst it might be a bit tired, it’s spacious not like some of the newer buildings
- Shane (7/5): Easy and Convenient - The location was great and convenient. It was quite small to accommodate x5 people.
The communication leading up to our stay was quite poor and even when we went to collect the keys once we got there we couldn’t gain access because we weren’t informed KEYPAL needed a QR code for access.
$814 for 2 nights was a little steep.
- Catherine (8/5): We had a nice stay, location was great for visiting Rod Laver Arena ( walking distance )as-well as Sea Life aquarium ( s - Layout Having to collect key at separate locations and the quality of the map for parking was blurry so hard to understand.
- Helen (7/5): - Property is close to trams and shops very good location. Apartment needs some work done, both shower heads leaking and not good, kitchen taps leaking and carpet dirty and damaged. Key collection area avoid in peak hour traffic.
- Willie (10/5): I’ve loved to looking forward in the future to stay . - Nice and clean Nothing
- Hannah (7/5): Convenient and satisfactory for 2-3 adults - Location was great for access to CBD, South Melbourne and arts precinct. Building concierge was very helpful as we learnt how to use the intercom and where building facilities were. Rooms had everything we needed, including plenty of laundry detergent and showering products. Communication was good and getting the key was pretty straightforward. Our main concern was that the door lock could not be unlocked from the inside which seemed like an evacuation hazard.
A few things were a little broken,
ie. the dishwasher knob was missing making it hard to turn on and the ensuite showerhead mostly dribbled rather than sprayed.
It was also inconvenient only having one set of keys.
The sofa bed was really just an extending couch so wasn't great for sleeping an adult, but I was warned ahead of time.
- Chris (7/5): Good - Central location for what we were intending to do. Excellent views and carpark was a bonus. Stick vacuum cleaner held together with sticky tape and has exposed wires. Urgently needs replacing.
- Tim (8/5): Very good - Location Getting the key from the Keypal
- Renee (5/5): Overall unit was beautiful - Location was great so was cleanliness The beds were extremely uncomfortable woke up sore both mornings
- Michaela (5/5): Will not stay there again nor do I recommend. - Location was good. Property requires a deep clean and upgrade. Thick dust on top of doorways, leaking showers, broken cabinets, uncomfortable old mattresses, lifting carpet and thin worn towels. Communication from agency managing booking (didn’t realise was an airbnb ) was really poor. Once booking was prepaid received an email for a $500 bond deposit before key code was sent out. Keys needed to be collected from a locked box in Spencer st station. We collected keys only to
Discover once we arrived they didn’t work (wrong keys) and we were locked out. No one replied to messages for assistance. The concierge ended up
Giving us owners number to
Contact who then contacted agency. Hour and half later had keys delivered - (after they expected us to go back to collect keys and we said no due to travelling with a child) no apology. Luckily we did not have to return the keys back to the lock box on departure due to stuff up. No responses to
Any of messages until days later if at all. Was very disappointing for the cost of stay, and I have a sore hip from the sagging old mattress.
- Bhajan (9/5): Beautiful view - Central location Nothing
- Courtney (7/5): Good -
- Rosa (8/5): Very good - The view, the amenities The sofa bed isn't big enough for 2 adults
- Paluvavau (10/5): Exceptional -
- Watkins (10/5): All in all a very enjoyable experience and very relaxing - Very handy location central and perfect for our wkend getaway in the big smoke One key for 5 people was a bit tricky too manage at times you really need two keys to make it work for that amount of people in this type of accommodation with locked doors every level and lift usage etc
- Joseph (3/5): Great location everything is walking distance, if you want that and don’t want to spend a lot of money this is fine - The location is the only upside with this, terrible communication from the owner. Not overly clean either —
- Jack (8/5): Comfortable stay - Free carpark. Good view and location near to Woolworths and an interesting Stone playground which our grandchild enjoyed exploring. No heater in bedrooms. Could replace chipped dishes and worn out kitchen utensils.
- Jennifer (5/5): Loved Melbourne but not our accomodation. - The view was good. The location to Southbank itself was good. Obtaining the keys to the property was quiet an ordeal considering there is a Concierge at the property - having to drive to another location in a city you don't know - using Key Pal & having to use a qr code to access these premises. Really quite bizarre & quite an ordeal. The access to the carpark is not easy to find & is quite tight to negotiate around once inside. We weren't notified as to what floor the apartment was on - had to ask the concierge. The furnishings are mediocre. The main bathroom is in need of a make over. To be honest the place & furnishings looked cheap. The rules regarding departing the premises were quite absurd. We have never booked an apartment using this set up & won't be again. We don't feel it was worth the money we spent. Totally disappointed.
- James (5/5): Average -
- Maura (6/5): Centrally located and conveniently positioned. - Spacious and central I was annoyed that we had to pay a bond upfront of A$500
