- Leatherbury (9/5): Very peaceful. -

- Jaroslav (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, quiet location, well-maintained historic house. Great opportunity to experience living like in the past. Good accessibility by car.
- André (9/5): Staying in Thurup Hus is like living in a museum, a real one-of-a-kind experience! - Beautiful farmhouse in a very quiet location. Staying here is like stepping back in time and makes you realize how people were living in the old days. If you want a unique experience during your travels in Denmark, you should book a few nights here. Nothing.
- Hanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): A wonderful place to enjoy the silence and scenery. I’ll return for sure! - What an amazing old rustic house, it was like going back 300 years in a time machine. I didn’t miss the water or electricity one bit, there was just the tick-tock of the old wall clock and the oil lamps to light up the evenings. Just keep in mind that in-house toilets and luxury were not features 300 years ago. We loved it!
- James (10/5): A unique opportunity to stay in a perfectly preserved traditional farmhouse. - Thurup Hus is a truly unique experience, offering a taste of what it was like to live in a Danish farmhouse in the 1800's (without the hard work). The main house is beautifully preserved and authentic.
- Sven (8/5): Very good - Old house so you really can feel how people were living during 1800 century.
No electricity and only candel light .
Everything is in renovated.
- Alexander (10/5): Very special trip back in time - Beautifull, very special place to stay. Highly authentic. Nothing has been modernised in the main house for 100 years. That is something special in this day and age. There is a good outhouse with toilet and shower, but in the main building it’s all candles and oillamps and this makes for a very special experience.
The host is very friendly, the gardens around the house are exeptional. Highly recommended for a special trip back in time.
- Gra (10/5): Exceptional stay in a very well preserved traditional Danish house - I can not give less than 10 out of 10. The Hostess, Karen, really managed to revive this beautiful house, the workshop of the local painter who lived there, and everything else looks authentic, like a museum. It was a true privilege to stay here for a night, and feel the ambience of the beginning of the XX century (gas lamps, bread oven, lots of old utensils, etc.). Takk! Ačiū! - -
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olga (10/5): Exceptional - A very special accommodation. The owner put a lot of attention to details, and it was simply lovely. Very spacious, a big garden, very quiet. We could use fruits and vegetables from the trees in the garden.
- Gerard (10/5): Wellness, relaxation and beauty are the components of this house. - We loved staying in this marvelous museum like house. Indeed, it is a mix of the past with present modernity. Relaxation, wellness and beauty are what this place is about. We were so well here. Many thanks to Karine for maintening such a house. An unforgettable venue.
