Sicuramente torneremo! - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento con vista su Positano ed è stata un’esperienza davvero splendida. La posizione è semplicemente incredibile: la vista è mozzafiato, perfetta per godersi ogni momento della giornata, soprattutto al tramonto. L’appartamento era impeccabile, estremamente ordinato e pulitissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli. Si percepisce subito l’attenzione e la cura dei proprietari, che sono stati davvero accoglienti e disponibili fin dal primo momento, facendoci sentire come a casa.
• Victor Andrei (10/5): - We spent 14 days exploring the Amalfi Coast, visiting Procida, Capri, Positano, and Amalfi, and stayed in six different accommodations during our trip. This was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable places. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night, which was truly a shame. The décor is beautiful, and the view is absolutely breathtaking—we really wished we could have stayed longer. The scenery, the peaceful atmosphere, and the quality of the amenities make this place truly special. Highly recommended! If you’re arriving by boat or buss, keep in mind that the house is located up in the mountains, just as shown in the photos.

• Alayna (8/5): - Beautiful views and wonderful room. The lift was much appreciated so we didn't have to carry our baggage upstairs. The host was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information about the town, taxis, and restaurants. The kitchen in the unit was also a big plus; it was fully stocked with just about anything we needed. The host also accommodated early check in which was great! Unfortunately we visited in the winter off season so most places in town were closed which limited some of our options, no fault of the host though! When we arrived the couch cushions were a bit wet but I think that is because we were early to check in and the room had been cleaned shortly before.

• Bailey (10/5): Dream views of Positano from stunning apartment - What a dream of a spot in such a magic town. The entire property is gorgeous. Even in off season. The view alone is to die for. The apt was huge and incredibly lovely. Nice washer in bathroom was helpful. The wonderful hosts live on site so it is very secure and relatively private for such a connected town. I dream of coming back here and staying for at least a week, and spending most of it on that balcony. ❤️ Honestly nothing.

• Sherry (9/5): I’d stay here again for sure, but might plan to use more bus or taxi service - Fabulous views. Large and comfortable space Only 1 restaurant easily accessed with minimal stairs. Good exercise but definitely a workout just walking to dinner and back, much less all the way to main town. Part of the charm, but challenging.

The hosts were great and very communicative and helpful. They even found us a last minute sunset boat booking that was amazing. We really can't complain about much. Little things are not worth mentioning when your whole stay is great!!

• Victoria (10/5): Highly recommend Villa Ambra and it’s incredible view over Positano - It’s like you’re in another time and place up there. The elegant villas with lush gardens, immense verandas with maiolic tiles and spectacular views. Spacious rooms, bedrooms separate and private each with full baths. Slept with windows open to the sounds of nature and fresh mountain air. We personally loved the walks up and down to town and beach, especially the stairs. Such a breathtakingly beautiful part of this world leaving so soon

The apartment was beautifully furnished, very clean and was so well equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent, could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend - Ambra our host was excellent, she called ahead to ensure we had directions to their parking garage and met us at the road side. Her father parked our car and her spouse brought our larger bags up to our room from the garage. Exceptional cordial welcome. Ambra took the time to inform us of where we could dine locally as well as were we could pick up groceries (should we wish to cook). Great location and views, though we did not get to use the Pizza oven on our very large and well appointed terrace. Elevator is a plus.

• Liran (10/5): Most Amazing View I've Ever Seen! - The rooms were very comfortable with a nice common living area and a beautiful veranda with a spectacular view out to sea and a little pool that was lovely to dip in. The hostess, Ambra, was available and helpful from start to finish. The villa is located at the very top of Positano, which is wonderful for the view, but it means a lot of walking downhill and then, of course, uphill to get to the main areas and beach. There are taxis, but they are very expensive.

Always breathtaking ! Obviously the higher up you are the more stairs there is to climb… but it’s worth it for the views.

• Meg (5/5): Lovely views but not the cleanest - The views were incredible, the host was helpful. Location was good but there was a lot of steps. The apartment wasn’t the cleanest, drain issues with the shower. The main problem was ants, we woke up with the floor covered in ants in one of the bedrooms, and there were ants in our bed and suitcases which resulted in us having to send everything to the dry cleaners. If we were staying more than one night, we would’ve left as we couldn’t have stayed with the amount of ants. Not cheap for one night here so we were quite disappointed with this issue. No one met us on our check out so we couldn’t make them aware of this.

If you aren't happy to pay for a taxi or wait for the bus you can walk but there are lots of steps, but it is doable (we did with rucksacks)

Great value for money. Positano is a vertical town. Access to and from town is by lots of stairs (1000). Alternately, one can take an hourly bus or call a taxi that can cost quite a bit. While I enjoyed using the stairs to go downtown and then took the bus up, and we used a porter service for heavy bags from the port to the apartment; this would be difficult for people with mobility issues.

• André (7/5): Excellent view but a bit pricey for what it is - The view was amazing, the room was big and comfortable. The recommendation from the host was a bit touristic. We didn't have basic things like shampoo, soap, olive oil, etc. The parking was paid and extremely expensive. Most of other accommodation we stayed in Italy before and after had those basic things and free parking.

This property is located on the top of the mountain with a breathtaking view of the sea and Positano. This villa has a beautiful garden with lemon and bay leaf trees. There is a private parking located at the base of the property with an elevator that will take you to the rental unit (depending which unit you get). If you have the top unit then you will have to climb some stairs once disembark from the elevator. The parking is at an additional cost which has to be remitted to the owner upon departure. Owners were very helpful from the moment of our arrival and throughout. The property could use some renovations, especially bathrooms. The sofa in the kitchen/living room could use a wash.

• Edward (7/5): great staff and view - the terrace was 10/10. the staff were so accommodating and friendly. the place feels a little tired. location was not ideal, we thought we would be able to handle the steps into main part of town (we are fit and active) but we ended up catch taxis on occasions, it’s exhausting to get to the top. the positive is you’re out of the tourist area which is hectic. beds were old and uncomfortable.
• Olivia (10/5): A slice of Paradise! - Villa Ambra boasts the most amazing view of Positano and is minutes away from the centre. upon arriving I was left speechless by the view from the terrace, it truly felt like we were in paradise. The villa was immaculately clean, it was a great size and contained everything we needed (fridge, microwave oven, stove top, dining table, couch) The host was exceptional also, she was so welcoming and was there for our every need. She helped us to our room, explained the bus system around Positano and showed us where the supermarket/ main centre was on a map. We were also provided some restaurant recommendations that were super helpful. Nothing! everything was absolutely perfect!

Parked car downstairs in private garage, very convenient. Positano our new favorite place. Be warned w/ the elevation down to seashore, we took cab back for 30 euros, dont think we could have walked back up after exhausting day. Pricey but absolutely worth it and in line w/ other offerings anyways. couldn't stay longer

The host was very helpful and friendly and the apartment was spacious, clean and co - The apartment was spacious, clean and cool in the middle of summer. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning, overlooking Positano town. There are small local shops and cafes only a short walk away. The property is located at the top of the town which meant taking lots of steps up and down, however was worth it and the exercise was welcomed with all the delicious foods and drinks in Positano. Nothing.
