The whole place is set up so well, great fa - The cabin was so cute, warm, very comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The hot tub was amazing, easy to warm up and very enjoyable. Beds, duvets & pillows all super comfy too! We loved the tranquility of the place, showers were really good. Natural pool was fabulous & invigorating on a warm spring morning! Great facilities everywhere and we loved our Bon fire too. We loved it all

• Therese (10/5): It’s the sort of place you see in films that you think, ‘that’s very cool’. - It was such a beautiful setting, with willow covered wooden bridges leading you in different directions. The rustic kitchen was charming with a view of the sunset. The yurts were luxurious,with carpet, a wood stove, a sleigh bed, futons all encapsulated within this quilted covering on the interior walls of the tent and…beautiful bedding. Each yurt has its own private setting with table and chairs, campfire and benches and ours had a hot-tub too! The bird sound was all around with a woodpecker darting amongst the trees and the owls hooting at night. Then…. The natural pool. It was beautiful! Crystal clear with cobbles at the bottom and a decking and loungers. The toilets were immaculate and just that little extra with the decor. Also a compost toilet which was also immaculate. We absolutely LOVED this place. It was a late 50th celebration for three friends and we lounged and soaked up the tranquility. We can’t wait to go back with our families! Our hosts were wonderful too! Absolutely nothing…. Honestly. We were blown away by this wonderful place.

• Hutchinson (7/5): Recent stay - The location and the surroundings were lovely. Nice little cabin with excellent kitchen within the unit. The lodge was clean. It's getting a little tired so it could do with a slight re fresh. The mattress on the futons do need replacing. The mattresses on the futons need replacing

• Mike (10/5): Amazing Time, Will be Coming Back - Group of 6 staying in the Castle and the Cabin. Greeted by Roy with a wheelbarrow to help cart our luggage to our accommodation, and given the rundown on where things are such as toilets, showers, etc. We had a great time keeping the woodburning stoves lit in the accommodation as it was negative temperatures on our first night, but that didn't stop us having a barbecue and then light the fire bowl outside! Lewis was fantastic when I was initially booking the stay, answering all questions with patience and professionalism. Roy was easily contactable throughout our stay to help with anything at all. The accommodation itself is lovely and cozy, and self-catering, giving us the freedom to eat at our leisure. A fantastic and memorable stay for all the right reasons, and I'm looking forward to bringing my partner on a romantic stay here. She's going to love the hot tub in the Cabin. Huge thanks to Moat Island Glamping, and we'll be back!
• Susan (6/5): First time glamping - Moat Island itself was very thought out with the outside kitchen shower/toilet facilities. The scenery was very beautiful. The tent was below standard for furnishing and comfort. Having to buy the wood for the log burner . I would of thought it wood be included in the price. We didn't get a jacuzzi when it was advertised .

• Tania (8/5): - Was greeted on arrival by the friendly staff. The location was lovely, peaceful and the swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. The surroundings of countryside was pretty and being able to see the sunset. Everything was great, the only one downside was the spare beds were like sleeping on the floor, very uncomfortable but the main bed is comfy.
• lorraine (9/5): Amazing, peaceful break - The accommodation was excellent, the communal kitchen facilities were well stocked. Shower blocks were good. And the natural pool and hot tubs were amazing. A great location to switch off with a lovely pub in walking distance. The chemical toilets were good but at times were smelly.
• Andrea (7/5): Beatiful glamping experience close to nature - Beatiful location and felt close to nature with natural wildflowers aplenty, and a natural pool to swim in. The tents also offered more privacy than the usual for this kind of arrangement which was lovely. The kitchen and ablution block facilities were good. We felt the arrangement of beds (2 sleeper couches and 1 double bed) was good for our family's needs. Unfortunately the loo close to our tent (for those quick middle of the night trips with the kids) remained unusable for the duration of our stay due to a hornet's nest which could not be professionally removed during our stay. Having a private loo close to the tent was one of the main attractions for us to this site so it was disappointing that this was out of order while we were there.
• mala (10/5): Such a lovely experience that we’ll forever have in our memories, it felt like a movie staying there - Everything about the area was lovely so beautiful. At first it was difficult to navigate maybe due to lack of signs but became clear pretty soon
