Guest Reviews
- Shirley (10/5): - Beautiful havelli, spacious and very comfortable. Amazing views from rooftop restaurant and the food and drinks were fabulous. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great central location.

- Dylan (8/5): - Beautiful property, spacious room with incredible architecture and traditional decoration.
- Deborah (5/5): Not worth the price - Good location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, nice room. Not exceptionally clean, definitely not worth the price, super expensive restaurant (although Panorama 360 next door is very good and well priced), staff although friendly very inexperienced. A shame because the property is beautiful but overpriced for the lack of service and inexperience. Really terrible wi-fi (very difficult to connect to it).
- Jutta (8/5): Wunderschönes Haveli, traumhafte Dachterrasse. Ziemlich laut.
- maggie (7/5): Nice hotel. Expensive but a good choice to see th old city and th restaurant was really gorgeous. - Calm oasis in midst of very busy s
City
The restaurant was fantastically nice on top of the roof. Def recommend. No view from room as was tucked behind the lift. But was very quiet
- Laura (10/5): Great place to stay - My husband and I stayed here. The staff was able to upgrade our room to a historical suite. The room was beautiful and spacious and I enjoyed staying there. I can't speak for the other rooms. Rooftop breakfast was good with lots of options. Staff was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

- Rosemary (9/5): Had a great 2 nights here. Avoid the travel agent opposite. - Beautiful heritage building maintained extremely well. Common areas designed with incredible furniture and artefacts. Indigo rooftop restaurant was excellent. The WiFi was hit and miss.

- Thomas (10/5): To some of my stay, I would definitely return still. The prices were just a tad bit too high. - Gorgeous room. Great location. When I booked a room, which was apparently the last room available… and then I was shown to room… the photos, made the room look large and it was a completely different room. Upon being shown a room, it was probably half the size of what the photos looked like. And at $175/night there were a few areas of improvement… the refrigerator almost did not work, and the door was falling off. And after turning on the water heater for a shower, I got barely 3 minutes of hot water.
- Anna (7/5): Tasteful and extraordinary heritage rooms right in the heart of Jodhpur - As architects, to sleep here is to experience a beautifully, skilfully, yet simply restored heritage building. No frills in terms of lavish materials or fixtures. Had a really good night sleep - Quiet rooms on the back of the building - rooms 103 & 104. The proportion of the rooms are extraordinary, every small opening that lets in light, whatever the position is, has been considered in relation to the rooms that are configured. For example, a dressing area created in what would have been a thick wall and corridor in the old house, complete with a generous window letting light on. Delicious food - breakfast and dinner and we were well looked after by Mr Pushpendera Singh, with a lovely persona and taught us about Rajasthani specialities. Communication prior to arrival was difficult and convoluted and it should have been better. This needs more attention and a personal touch, rather than letting guest’s suffer the corporate, impersonal behaviour of Booking.com
- Ian (9/5): Lovely stay at this upmarket and characterful hotel - Very nice upmarket hotel. Large clean rooms set around a courtyard. The location is superb being central but the hotel, although having some slight residual traffic noise, was surprisingly quiet for the relocation. I ate in the excellent restaurant each night which boasts wonderful views towards the fort. The wifi is very poor.

- Jennie (10/5): This is a great place to stay. -
- Lauren (10/5): - The staff were so lovely, so accommodating !
- mamiko (2/5): 便利だけど雰囲気は悪い - ベッドの寝心地と朝食 尊大なスタッフ
真っ暗な部屋に通されたこと
- Grazyna (10/5): -
- Beatrie (8/5): Very good - Beautiful rooms.
Reception and dining area could be upgraded.
- Sarah (9/5): A beautiful haveli in a central location close to fort, market and blue corridor. - The room style and size was awesome and the view from the rooftop restaurant was magical Check in was tricky. Despite having a confirmed booking we were rudely told we didn’t have a reservation.
In room fridge didn’t work.
- Jenny (8/5): Very good -
- Neelam (8/5): Great location staff and property - I would give them a 5 except for the fact they need a more robust wifi system
Their provider is not doing a good job. We had trouble getting WiFi in our room though it was very good in the lobby and restaurant
Very good service helpful . I would definitely stay here again Wifi
- Susannah (9/5): Very special historic stay. - A gorgeous huge stately room full of history and delight. The Haveli had a fabulous roof restaurant with a tasty breakfast and a sweet afternoon tea in the courtyard for guests. The staff were lovely. And the best location The WiFi was terrible but they are planning to improve.
- John (9/5): Comfortable, convenient, good value and full of character. - Great location - right in the middle of the part of the city that visitors are gonna want to explore. Really comfortable and calm. The staff were super nice to us, even going as far to give my wife cake for her birthday, just by looking at the date on her ID that we gave them at the beginning of our stay. Attention to detail like that is what makes a place special (also, I forgot to tell them it was her birthday, whoops). Rooftop bar and restaurant is perfect for incredible views of the city - food is good, service is good. Our room was large and full of character. The whole place is grand, but unpretentious. I'd totally recommend it. Thank you to Pal Haveli and the whole team that works there for making our stay so nice. It was generally really good - we have no complaints.
- Chuah (8/5): Very good -
- Nicholas (10/5): Fantastic - The rooms and inner courtyards are so beautiful and the views of the fort from the roof magical
Really glad we chose this place Nothing at all
- Michelle (9/5): Pal Haveli Jodhpur, a real gem to stay at. - This heritage property is a wonderful stay and very well located in Jodhpur. The rooms are beautiful and bedding was great.
After a long day of sightseeing you really do feel like you come back into a haven. It's quiet despite the hustle and bustle on it's door step.
Breakfast buffet was very good value and the restaurant staff were all wonderful. Service is fantastic.
Highly recommend the rooftop restaurant for dinner as the views over Jodhpur and up to the fort are truly incredible. We also enjoyed a sunset drink while we relaxed and played a game of cards.
Accommodation is very well priced for the location and facilities. If you have trouble with stairs its worth noting when booking as the stairs to the upper levels are quite steep. I didn't have any issues but it's worth sharing. We had booked three rooms and my friend had a ground floor room. The room was just as stunning as ours so can confidently rate all the accommodation.
- Robyn (10/5): A historic and beautiful sanctuary - A beautiful sanctuary within a bustling city. Beautiful rooms . Helpful staff. Great rooftop restaurant We had to push a little to get a quieter room than the one first given, but they were able to do so
- Surinder (3/5): Felt cheated with the sub standard rooms allotted to us despite booking three months in advance. - The only thing good of this place is the roof top restaurant which serves good food and has a nice view of the fort.
The staff was helpful and polite. Had a bad experience otherwise. They have couple of heritage rooms which they display on the website but what gets allotted are verandas and corridors converted to rooms some are located in the noisy side of the town and others claustrophobic. I had specifically asked the management to share pics of the rooms allotted us, but they refused saying its against their policy. Obviously, because they have only a couple of heritage rooms and the rest are verandahs and corridors covered to serve as rooms.
The one allotted to us was jarring with noise of the neighborhood and stray dogs barking till wee hours of the night.
The surroundings are filthy and the roads bumpy.
Place is not friendly for old and disabled people. Far too many steps to climb and that too very steep. The bathroom of the room allotted to us was almost 16 inches higher than the room and one could easily slip and fall while coming down after the shower.
My suggestion to the management is please share pictures of all rooms that you have and price them accordingly. Do not fleece customers by showing them excellent heritage rooms and allotting them corridors and verandas covered to look like heritage rooms.
- Lara (10/5): A beautiful, special place to stay. Rooms are stunning, staff lovely and food delicious! - We had a fantastic stay at Pal Haveli. It’s a beautiful hotel and you can really feel the history in the place. The staff are very kind and helpful and make you feel very welcome. The restaurant is also brilliant. We tried kir sangri which we really enjoyed. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Jodhpur.
- Phil (9/5): A Beautiful hotel with lovely staff but it is an oasis in a dirty area - Very large beautiful room in a beautiful property. Breakfast and dinner really nice. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful The local area outside the hotel is very dirty
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Beautiful Havali great ambience and beautiful restaurant on the rooftop, spacious rooms with lots of local details. Lovely sitting areas around the property.
- Ronan (10/5): Exceptional -
