• Dorothy (10/5): Heavenly place we are Hopping g to book again for longer next year. It’s a perfect place - Of course the setting near Hadrians view was so beautiful. Long views through with large windows Property looked old, reclaimed stone. The interior quality and amenities could not be better Asking people who could be 10 to vacate at 9:30 is bonkers. Perhaps the owners hope you leave the evening before. I did get an extension by paying extra£120 for two and a half hours!

• shabyir (10/5): Amazing stay specially with family , loved it - Beautiful cottage with the most amazing view and had everything and anything you wanted. Great experience and if we ever go that side in big numbers I would defo book this place. Kevin and Leah were so understanding and kind with my late replies since they knew I was busy planing my wedding. It was lovely. The mattress could have been a little more comfortable and I wish it had a vacuum cleaner but this really isn’t a big deal.

• Lesley (10/5): Magnificent Vesta View - highly recommended - We all had the most fantastic stay at Vesta View. Everything about the house was absolutely amazing; from the breathtaking views, the spacious rooms and highly finished ensuites, everything you could wish for in the kitchen, and of course, the chickens/cockerel made the experience complete. The house was so relaxing and we found ourselves just sitting on the sofa taking in the view. There is so much to look at! Each room is very spacious. The dining table having plenty of seating for our family of 10 people. The kitchen flows very well to the dining room and then to the lounge which holds the most amazing views over the valley. The bedrooms are all finished to a high spec and have everything you would want during your stay including dressing gowns and hair dryer. The beds are firm but very comfortable and each bedroom was very light and airy. The bedroom downstairs was ideal for my elderly parent to use and is disability adapted. We would all like to return to the area to experience some of the many walks in the area and to further explore the towns close by. I would highly recommend this house to use as a base to visit the beautiful towns close by and to experience the many walks in the area. We look forward to returning in the future. • Abigail (10/5): Love the house and the location, absolutely perfect! - What’s there not to like! The house itself is perfect, location and views idyllic, and we loved the surprise of a carrot cake and other treats on arrival. Communication with the host was quick, easy and very responsive. The house and hosts are environmentally friendly too which we were grateful for. The chickens are friendly and inquisitive if you invite it, but aren’t a nuisance in any way! We’re looking forward to returning some time. We went at the beginning of February and the underfloor heating made the house super warm; however appreciate this is because the house is energy efficient. Opening a window or door occasionally soon made it cooler, so not a great issue.
