Guest Reviews
- Leia (10/5): Very clean and affordable. - It was very clean and the owner gave great instructions on how to access the room. It was great value for the room you get. It was a little far from where we intended to go.
- Leane (10/5): Absolutely amazing for my first time in London !!!! - Very Nice and clean
Everything was straightforward from the checking in. Definitely worth it very cozy too. No complaints!!!!
- Sotirakis (8/5): - Location
Room condition felt new. There was a light always on the patio outside of the room, and the light was coming through, which disturbed my sleeping.
Also the soundproofing could be improved.
- Jade (10/5): Lovely comfortable stay in a well furnished, well presented apartment. - I was provided with an excellent service from the host in the form of WhatsApp messages with detailed information on the property and how to use the security features. It was a lovely little apartment, comfortably fit two of us. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location was excellent, convenient for shops and public transport and I felt very safe due to the multi-faceted security of the apartment and the good area it was in. There was nothing at this property that I didn't like.
- Sebastien (8/5): Bonne adresse. - La propreté et la gentillesse du personnel. Les murs sont très fins, studio pas tout insonorisé.
Un peu loin de métro à pied.
- Gaffurini (9/5): Perfect location for a Totthenhum stadium concert - Clean, essential, perfect for chill and a nice shower Shared balcony. Since we were 2 girls we had to keep the window-door shut
- Lizzie (10/5): -
- Charlotte (10/5): Great location for a concert in Tottenham, very clean and lovely apartment. - The property was nicely arranged, we had space and access to a lovely sun trap court yard. Also on street parking was a bonus. Really great price for the property. It would’ve been useful to have another mirror or a plug in the hallway near the bathroom mirror.
- Salomey (10/5): Great - Cleanliness and location. Safe neighbourhood No fan, was extremely hot
- Dan (3/5): Beware of location change - Room was clean and tidy. We had booked the accommodation advertised in this specific area (2c Marquis Road) for a reason, having paid for adjacent parking and ensuring we would not have to rely on transport during our stay. 10 minutes before check-in we received a message informing us our accommodation was unavailable and we were given a new address. The new address was a 30 minute walk away with no option of car parking nearby. We were not consulted on this, given any explanation or offered a refund and, given the lack of alternative availability, had no option but to conform. The upshot of this was that we were in an area we had no desire to be in. We had to carry our belongs for a considerable distance and had no access to our vehicle during the stay. We also had to use transport that we had specifically planned to avoid when originally booking. The room was clean and tidy but contained no cutlery and, incidentally, was identical to the pictures advertised for our initial booking, which claimed to be at a totally different address.
- Maximilian (6/5): - Sehr hellhörig
- Tiernan (8/5): -
- Jürgen (6/5): - Kurz vor der Ankunft haben wir ein anderes Apartment bekommen.das Apartment war sehr hellhörig
- Dragoș-George (10/5): - Booking Everything was exactly as advertised. The room
Is clean, cleaning service is good, the bed is comfortable.
- Jacqueline (5/5): Happy enough with our stay but as mentioned it would benefit from some details such as cutlery etc - Location was very central, easy access to the tube station My original booking was cancelled - this room had an outside space which was what I was drawn to. The night before I travelled I was contacted by the host and informed there was an issue with the room and I had been relocated and upgraded. The room I got was certainly spotless and new but definitely not an upgrade in my eyes. Definitely wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues as inside the building is a maze of doors and stairs and the room is tiny. It suited me as well were there for a concert and only needed a bed. No cutlery or plates if you decided you wanted to eat but did have hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
- Janeice (10/5): Sort the mirror issue and no complaints - This review relates to 'Centra High Road' NOT 'Centra Palmers Green'. I was upgraded to a double room at 'Centra High Road'.
Cleanliness, location (short walking distance to Turnpike Lane underground). Ample shops and eateries within walking distance as not far from Wood Green either. Secure digital access. Proper sink to wash up, microwave, fridge, table & chairs, air con, and ample space. I was surprised to see cups and glasses, which was also an improvement. Price was very reasonable and overall a great quality accommodation. I would definitely stay here again. I liked being on the top floor as minimal noise. No full-length mirror or simple mirror on the wall outside of the bathroom. Luckily, I was travelling alone, but if 2 x people were staying, they would struggle to get ready without this. If going out, most want to see how they look in their entirety before leaving and also prevents having to wait for the steam to clear on the mirror in the bathroom. This can be easily rectified as significant wall space. (Studio 9, down Hallway 3). I believe this was the same when I previously stayed at Centra Palmers Green. I would also suggest providing a spare pillow/s. I was on my own, so I had two to myself, but some like to be raised when they sleep. One pillow is not always enough for some people. (Travelodges do this, but keep them wrapped separately on the top of the wardrobes).
- Aine (1/5): -
- Mark (6/5): - Clean and efficient Sparse accommodation options in the area means they can get away with high prices.
- Olufemi (9/5): Really pleasant cost effective place to stay in North London - It was perfectly formed for a one night stay for a couple who needed somewhere to sleep and stay for a short stay Just size, a little bigger would be perfect. Plus a few extra plug points not enough for a couple staying as there is a microwave fridge and kettle. All three could be used at the same time.
- Emeka (9/5): -
- Nas (10/5): Very clean and comfortable place - Clean and tidy
- Nas (10/5): -
- Mahmut (10/5): -
- Rosemary (9/5): - The accommodation looked brand new, it was sparkly clean, the water hot, the bed comfortable. There was everything you could need, such as a TV, a fridge, an iron and ironing board and hairdryer. It exceeded my expectations and for those who need just the basics if you are out all day and into the evening, I recommend this accommodation highly.
For our group of four, all between 75 and 85, we didn't find using the door key lock system easy. Without the help of a resident who saw we were in trouble and came down to help, I don't know what we would have done. Having said that, the number we were given to ring, was answered immediately, and there was always a quick response for emailed queries.
I would have liked to deal with a named person, as we didn't know who we were speaking with.
Apart from that, we really were very pleased with our accommodation.
- Martin (7/5): If you don't mind stiff mattress and little soundproofing then this room is an excellent choice. - I like the communication with the host. Also the room was very clean and had a fridge and microwave and kettle.
Bathroom was very nice, tidy and very clean. Access was fully digital and no keys needed. I could hear almost everything from the other room next to me and the corridors. But mainly the mattress was really stiff. I cannot fall a sleep on stiff mattresses. Therefore I slept poorly.
- Sinead (7/5): - Clean, comfortable and all you could need in the room, including tea/coffee making facilities, iron, fridge etc. Easy check in process. Tesco 2 minutes away. Location was disappointing, the area is not pleasant
- Victoria (8/5): Lovely little room! - Very clean and welcoming seemed modern too, was a very nice touch with Netflix avaliable to ! Very happy would defo come again. Just what I needed as very close to the station and Adult soft play I went. Fridge and all the extra bits were a lovely touch too. They kept us up to date when the room was ready and the house keeper even asked if we was happy ! Our neighbours were loud and were out side our room before 9 am on a sunday which woke us up and they didnt go till like an hour later! Would be nice if others think about their neighbours too. That's the only negative experience we had ! Maybe make signs to remind about neighbours would be great!
- Mauger (9/5): Good value, modern clean property with amenities provided. - Instructions for self-check in were sent via WhatsApp for the 15:00 check in time.
Photo of property included in WhatsApp making it easy to locate on arrival.
Very clean, modern room with all amenities included (hairdryer, iron and board, small fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, towels).
Room was cosy and completely met my needs for the one night stay. Access to patio from ground floor room. Private bathroom.
20min walk from Wood Green underground station or 4-5 bus stops on direct route. Given it was a self-check in, the option for a later check in time would have been useful so I could have seen a West End show (I had attended a work course in central london during the day so couldn’t check in earlier). However, I appreciate I never asked for this and if there had been any problems with check in, it would have been difficult to sort late at night.
- Nas (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Lily (7/5): Cheap and sweet in an ideal spot - Great location, fantastic price and lovely clean space. Bathroom far nicer than expected and staff absolutely great. There was a security light outside that turned on intermittently all night. Wouldn’t have been a problem but no proper curtains meant it seeped straight into the room. If you’re an easy sleeper this shouldn’t be a problem
- Ildiko (10/5): - The host gave us a better room without us even having to ask. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our stay there.
- Gr (10/5): -

- Zampetaki (8/5): Very good -
- Junpeng (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Camilla (10/5): Would 100% stay again - Amazing! Loved everything about this property
- Laura (6/5): Not bad for a budget stay - Location was good and although it felt expensive for one night, it was cheaper than most in the area Only one pillow each, despite asking for more. Room was really noisy from other guests and only one small window. Could have really done with a fan.
There was tea and coffee with a kettle but only 1 paper cup each and 2 teeny cartons of milk despite 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets
Room was a lot smaller than the one pictured/advertised
- Wayne (9/5): We used this property to attend a concert, more than ideal for this short city break, easy access. - Ideal for what we wanted for the night stay Delay in accessing the property due to late clean up
- Eve (9/5): Superb -
- Jash (8/5): Very good - Everything as it is! Just missing couple of things like microwave and a fan.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Clean and modern, quiet location. Easy check in Noise from other apartments. Also very hot - fans or air con would have been welcome
- Ealesa (8/5): Great value for money - Location near enough to Tottenham hotspur stadium for a gig. Clean and quiet Quilt and pillows very thin, bedding a tad scratchy
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Aime (6/5): Pleasant - Short uber journey to Tottenham stadium - Pillows were so thin I had to put my clothes underneath to sleep comfortably.
- Text to host to see if they had a fan, as the room was really warm, and due to being on the bottom floor we didn’t feel comfortable having the windows open whilst we slept. But the host replied saying they didn’t provide fans.
- Volume on the telly didn’t work
- Had some ants of the bedside table
- Richards (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sabrina (7/5): Fair - The room was very clean and tidy, and had everything I needed. The noise coming from the other rooms, especially the one above, unfortunately made it impossible to rest…
- Ricky (7/5): Good -
- James (8/5): Very good -
- With (8/5): Very good -
- Aneliya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxime (10/5): Tip top studio, very modern looking and squeaky clean yet a very reasonable nightly cost - Room spanking clean, sheet and towels changed daily all equipment(micro-wave, ironing board, iron, TV etc..)all working very well Nothing
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Tolksdorf (9/5): Superb - Loved the terrace and the cleanliness. Not enough pillows on the bed.
- Pilar (9/5): Superb - Nice place for the price in London, plenty of good places to eat around
- Rosemary (9/5): Superb -
- Martyn (7/5): Good -
- Madhu (7/5): Good -
- Holly (8/5): Very good -
- Smith (8/5): Still value for money - Spotless. Just no microwave as stated on our booking. Very hot, needed more ventilation. It was not soundproofed as stated. This was only an issue because the people in the room above us were very noisy until 2.30am. Would stay again if given a top floor room only.
- Karolina (10/5): Exceptional - Room was clean and cozy. Room service also was excellent. Owner was really helpful and response very fast. Comfortable place. Only the lack of eating utensils.
- Landratkiewicz (10/5): I recommend this property - Nice and clean, good location
- Sobk (9/5): Superb - Everything was ok
- Patsy (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness spacious Very noisy
- Moose (10/5): Exceptional - The room was extremely clean and well laid out. It was in a great location, and the cleaner was very polite. N/A
- Adriana (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Ella (9/5): Superb -
- Joshua (8/5): Very good - Easy accessibility and early check-in. That there was no fan or air conditioning as it was so hot last weekend.
- Khayrul (8/5): Very good - Excellent communication i wish you well
- Charlie (2/5): Very poor -
- Abdullaeva (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (8/5): Very good - Nice clean apartment with good en suite No parking
- India (10/5): Clean, modern and good value - Clean, modern facilities, comfy bed and smooth check in process. Good value for money It is about a 15 mins walk from Bounds Green station which is zone 3/4, so does feel quite far out of London, but this is reflected in the price.
- Kashif (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ramona (10/5): Very nice host, amazing stay - The room is very nice, larger than expected, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is nice and clean. We booked this stay for a concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and it was perfect, very close to it. Some windows did not have shades and it was pretty bright in the morning.
- Angela (10/5): Wow great accommodation. - It was all spotless . It looks as if it has all been recently renovated. It had everything needed for a short stay. Microwave, kettle, Fridge, tea and coffee. Comfortable bed . Shower. It was great exceeded expectations. Excellent value for money. I am being really picky. I couldn't get the T.V. to work no matter what I tried. Also, it was really hard to fill the kettle from the sink , it was not quite the right size.
- Alexandra (8/5): Lovely stay with my daughter. Great location for Finsbury Park concert - Lovely Nothing
- Evans (8/5): Very good - The property is well presented and clean, perfect for what we needed it for. Only 1 pillow each, and they were not exactly a comfortable pillow either.
- Emmanuel (5/5): Passable -
- Andreea (8/5): Very good - The house looks newly refurbished and the studios are cosy and have all you need including a mini fridge and a microwave which were really handy. The location was good too as we came for a concert at Tottenham stadium. Thw check in process wqs smooth as well with codes rather than keys so we didn't have to worry about forgetting the keys. We arrived early and asked if we could check in early so the staff were kind to let us know when the room was ready so we checked in an hour early for free The place does not have any space to hold luggages so if you arrive early like we did you have to find somewhere else for them or carry them with you.
Also the room has white non black out blinds so it never gets fully dark for a good night rest unless you visit only during winter months. We visited in the summer and the room was bright at 10pm and at 5am so bring an eye mask if you want to rest properly.
Aware its the UK but a fan would have been appreciated as we visited during a hot weekend so it was kind of difficult to rest in the room during the afternoon as it was too hot
- Jake (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arif (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (7/5): Good - Nice room in a good location. Parking can be a bit tricky but available in the area. The staff were very nice and obliging. It was all fine. No complaints
- Shank (6/5): Average - Very clean and easy check in Soundproofing non-existent. Location alright but far. Loud neighbors could not sleep. Tiny tiny room
- Tycho (8/5): Very good -
- Valentyna (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean modern apartment :)
- Ahmed (9/5): Good value for money - Well organised, clean, fast response from the staff Distance from the centre
- Gideon (8/5): Very good -
- Mustafa (10/5): Exceptional - It was a property that exceeded my expectations in every way. Thanks to the access codes provided at check-in, I could enter my room quickly and without any hassle, and the staff were always on hand to assist immediately whenever needed. The cleanliness was impeccable: the rooms were hygienic and comfortable, and the shared areas were orderly and spacious. With its fully equipped facilities, you’ll find everything you need throughout your stay. I will definitely choose this place again.
- Adelina (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great. The house is gorgeous, the room was very clean, the staff was very helpful. Nothing
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - It felt like a home from home. It was excellent value for money. There was nothing to dislike.
- Amazon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (4/5): Absolute nightmare of a night - The room was much bigger than I expected. Very clean, lovely The shower was amazing, powerful, modern, excellent. The mirror lit up in the bathroom and made my face care routine incredible. There was a fridge, a kettle, a microwave. All good. The remote host was helpful and polite. Access was very well explained and easy. The noise was horrible. I didn't sleep at all. As other reviews have said, the walls are paper thin, you can hear the doors slamming so much that the wall shakes. The entrance and stairs have no carpet (neither do the rooms), there is a lot of echo. A LOT (a lot, I have videos of this) of noise, so much that I had to have my headphones on with heavy storm and rainfall sleep sounds all night. The noise went on until past 2.40am - this was a Thursday night and I had a double shift at work, starting next morning. I actually had to say that I wasn't feeling well, and couldn't even finish my second shift in the afternoon, absolutely exhausted and DIZZY SICK from the lack of sleep and anxiety from the horrible night I spent in this place. Would never go back because of this, not even for free. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE of a night. Traumatic experience.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
