- Indy (4/5): Slecht onderhouden park, accommodatie niet waterdicht - Leuk team, goede surf instructeurs. Lekker ontbijt. Huisjes zijn NIET waterdicht. Ons bed iedere dag moeten verschonen omdat deze of nat was, of omdat er weer allemaal viezigheid op lag van het plafond. Rieten daken worden niet goed onderhouden, vallen beestjes uit op je bed. Kamers zijn heel vochtig. Zeer onhygiënisch en vervelend dat continue al je kleding vochtig is en dus vies ruikt.. Kleding laten wassen in het hotel voor $10, was opeens $15 dollar toen ik de kleding kwam ophalen. Wasserette was de moeder van een van de medewerkers… Was kwam stinkend terug, met roestplekken en witte was helemaal verkleurd. Breng je kleding naar de wasserette in het stadje!! Check je rekening goed bij uitchecken..
- Pieter (9/5): - Het is bijzonder om te verblijven op een locatie als deze. Onvergetelijk. Nadeel is, we waren er tijdens het regenseizoen, dat alles vochtig is en blijft. Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Personeel is vriendelijk, spreken Engels, en handelen adequaat wanneer er iets aan de hand is.

- Roy (8/5): Overall delightful! A staple of San Juan - Super friendly staff; kitchen is top notch; activity schedule is rich and well organized Facilities could use some improvement: rusty and creaking ceiling fan; shower clogs; only two shared showers (tough in high season); WiFi not amazing; no fans in common areas. Meals delicious but a bit small. Packages don’t include surf guiding only lessons geared for beginners (including limited selection of intermediate level boards) Loud animal noises at night

- Shana (8/5): - Das Camp ist sehr süss eingerichtet, das Essen ist mega!!! jeden Tag was anderes und immer einen 3gänger! Alle Surflehrer sind sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Arbeiter im Camp auch immer freundlich:) Da es als ein Surfcamp angeschrieben ist, finde ich es schade, dass man nur 1h 30min am Tag im Wasser ist und keine grosse Möglichkeiten hat, nochmals alleine an den Strand zu gehen/ wird kein Shuttle angeboten..

- Thomson (1/5): Do not recommend at all dream turned into a nightmare - The people travelling you get to meet - Staff not there to check us in at 4pm - Room doesn’t have a sufficient fan - Frogs and chickens and other critters are so loud at night you can’t sleep - Multiple other guests got injured during supervised activities property did not make us sign an activity waiver. Resort left these guests to fend for themselves. - 8 guests myself included got food poisoning from property restaurants and when brought to the attention of resort staff it was brushed off - Scheduled air port transport and through some miscommunication transport was not going to show up had to scramble to find own transportation - Shared bathrooms showers don’t drain properly, same damp gross hand towel for days, for everyone to dry their hands off - everything is extra unless you buy a weekly package including shuttles into San Juan and to the beach for surf outings. - Surf equipment is in desperate need of replacement or repair. Foam boards had no grip and were peeling

The surf classes are amazing and the food is absolutely delicious (they cater to vegetarians and vegans as well). The pool is fun and cleaned regularly. The facilities are OK. The mattresses are a bit banana

Its was so serene, peaceful and quiet.. The team organzed daily events, like a beach picnic and bonfire, complete with roasted march mellows. Surf lessons were great in a beach perfect for beginners.. Overall vibe was chill and relaxed... just what i needed. not much really

Rude surf instructors that were cussing and saying horrible things about guests in Spanish thinking they wouldn't understand (but I could, because I can speak it. The accommodation was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Internet doesn't work in the rooms only at the lobby. It's a trap

- Anya (1/5): Terrible resort. DO NOT STAY HERE - Honestly, nothing. This resort is nothing as it is described. The website makes the resort quite fancy but it is run down and dirty. The list of issues were: - the sheets on my bed were stained - the curtains had mould on them - there was no paving to my room just a mud path - the wifi didn’t extend to my room - there was no manager at the resort just the cleaning & cooking staff - the surfboards were of the worst quality I’ve ever seen. The foam boards for beginners were falling apart - they only take you surfing once a day - the pool was old and there were no loungers to relax. It wasn’t a great area - it’s no where near the town and there’s no shuttle to get into town - they cram you into the trucks to go to beach with 12 of you sweating next to each other - they overbook and so one lot of people have to go to beach and wait an hour for first group to go - the food was very bland and small portion sizes. The list goes on and on. This resort is not for anyone who truly wants to surf or has surf experience. It’s basically a hostel for 20 yr olds who don’t care about anything and just want to party. The social events woman Anna seem to be running the whole resort & wasn’t even being paid. The manager came in for a bit & took us to the beach for sunset. On the drive there, he stopped the car and took a phone call while we all waited hot & sweaty crammed in the back. The man had no manners or any understanding of hospitality. He came across as very arrogant. They were also very unaccommodating towards people who just wanted a lift to beach for surf & not lessons. I had paid for a whole week but left after one day as it was so awful. I asked for a refund of at least my surf lessons but they refused. All in all, just a terrible experience and a terribly run place. If you care about surfing go to Las Plumerias surf camp in Popoyo. Nearly the same price and amazing staff, food and facilities.
- Dean (7/5): Dreams don’t come true - Nice staff, I liked the welcome drink, nice pool Rooms hot and fan wasn’t strong enough, giant recessed grout joints on paths are a tripping hazard, gotta duck under strung lights along paths, $14 dinner would probably be more comfortable at the $10 price point

- Cynthia (6/5): Disappointed. Pretty from the outside, disaster on the inside. - The people staying at the dorms seemed to be satisfied with it. But there was not a lot that I liked. The place looks amazing from the outside. Has great 'potential', but it's super run down inside and feels like a disaster. Especially for the $80 per night I paid. Thank you for the free smoothie (that wasn't on the menu, I couldn't choose it - just something they threw together). The list is pretty long. I really wasn't sure if I want to leave this review but the disappointment is too much. I felt frustrated that the booking said double room with a private bathroom and not the external private bathroom. Easy to assume the bathroom will be attached - it's not. I was really looking forward to having my own bathroom attached and that’s why I booked it. The check in took over an hour. I wasn't shown anything around the resort. I couldn't choose what dinner I wanted, it was only one choice - pretty pricy and not very good. The fan is really loud in the room. The curtains mouldy and if it was windy outside they keep on floating - unable to feel comfortable naked. Bedside table lamps have European plugs so couldn’t use them. Plants are dying. Internet in the room was on and off. I slipped on the stepping stones on the way from the reception to the room... Also, I mentioned all this to the reception staff and because I paid already, they couldn't do anything. She apologised. But my disappointment stayed with me. I don't ever leave bad reviews because I know they are harmful for the business. Dreamsea is a big company though and the standard was awful. I hope no one else has this experience for this price.
