Muss man mögen.

- Ary (10/5): - A nice place with very helpful and friendly staff
- Dmitri (10/5): - Nice view, clean
- Violetta (10/5): Good option for Bucana - Nice, simple bungalow at the beach. Everything worked as expected, the hosts were available and helpful. There are good restaurants and massage places nearby. Breakfast was correct. Parkig place for scooters. The neighbourhood is quite noisy during the night. Personally I didn't find it disturbing, but it's not for everyone. The beach is dirty, we went to Duli beach instead.

- William (10/5): Brilliant Bucana Beach! - Amazing place, remote and away from the commercial part of El Nido. Fantastic host family, they helped me with everything I needed while I was there. Would highly recommend!!
- Fabrizia (7/5): - It’s located in a fishermans village, far from all the touristy areas and close to the most amazing beaches in El Nido. The property itself is located on the beach of Bucana, you can easily wake up and have a stroll in the sand, a nice lunch with an amazing sea view and never have to put your shoes on. Also Jhondee is very kind and accommodating. The bridge in Bucana, that used to connect the property with the town, went down recently. So the only road left is really long and bumpy. Best thing is to take the old road anyway and cross the river with the raft locals use.
The cabin itself needs a little maintenance, inside and out. No hot water and low pressure, like most places in Filippines.
- McDavid (10/5): - The people there in charge of the property were kind, welcoming, very accommodating, and amazing to be around. Always willing to help and do what they can to make it the best stay can’t recommend this place enough
- Timothy (10/5): - Lovely people running this accommodation. They were also super helpful in organising transport.
- Ayub (10/5): Best place with the most incredible host.I highly recommend Sea Side camp for a realxin and authentic experience - It’s an incredible quiet fishing village with the most amazing host ever!!! Jhondee was so kind that even helped us organise many things at the best rates long after we left his accommodation. Truly kind golf, amazing sunsets just 10secs from your room. Breakfast at your request, pancakes, omelette, or any eggs to your liking with fruits and coffee all included in the price. Best place to stay in Philippines!!! The road can be a little bumpy towards the end of the journey but nothing crazy. And if that worries you, you can take another route to the bridge and then walk 5min across the Bucana Hanging Bridge to your camp.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - This property is absolutely perfect! The host is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. Staying here gave me a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic Filipino culture. One of the highlights was connecting with the local community—you’re not just a guest, you’re treated like part of the family.
The village is a peaceful fishing community where locals love to sing karaoke and enjoy music, which is a big part of their daily life and traditions. It was heartwarming to see how joyful and welcoming everyone is. I truly admire the simplicity and warmth of their lifestyle.
This has been one of the most memorable cultural experiences I’ve had while traveling. I’m already looking forward to coming back here on my next vacation!
- Dmitri (10/5): Exceptional - If you're looking for a escape from the busy streets of El Nido, I highly recommend staying at SeaSide Cabin. Nestled in a authentic Filipino fishing village, this hidden gem offers a unique opportunity to experience the local culture in a serene coastal setting. The atmosphere is calm, refreshing, and perfect for travelers seeking tranquility and a taste of local life.
What truly sets SeaSide Cabin apart is the exceptional hospitality of the host, Jhondee. He is incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything you need. From arranging transportation to organizing island tours or other activities, Jhondee has excellent connections and often secures better prices than you'd find elsewhere. His local knowledge is a huge advantage, and his warm, friendly personality makes you feel right at home.
Whether you're staying for a weekend or a longer retreat, SeaSide Cabin is a relaxing and culturally rich place to stay. Nothing.
- Gracelyn (1/5): Bad - Nothing All of it, the experiences to get there until we got no choice but to stay for at least a night as my partner was very sick. I tried talking to the staff tho he is very nice and I knew that we can’t cancel our booking already tho I still tried to at least get some refund which he promised that we would get at some point until there’s a lot of reasons and I gave up as we want to enjoy not to deals with refunds. To get there is very difficult especially the broken bridge with the wrong step you can easily fall, room is full of ants and other insects. The environment is so loud so you can’t have a full relaxation, singing karaoke left and right, loud music everywhere. And burning plastics is suffocating to smell. And what made it worst is the unlimited view of trash everywhere it’s very dirty that really ruined the place.
- Bev. (10/5): Incredible - This property is amazing! My partner and I came for a few days to relax. It is basic accommodation, but it was gorgeous being right on top of the most beautiful beach. The location is great, lots of restaurants and little shops along the beach and nice things to explore by motorbike / tuk tuk. The host family were also lovely and so helpful, and it was lovely seeing all the locals, who were all super friendly. We were so sad to leave, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nice breakfast also - pancakes or eggs.
- Galen (8/5): Nice Bamboo Cabins - Very nice bamboo rooms with a private bathroom, fan, mosquito net and little patio outside. I loved it and felt very comfortable here. The water just went off the one day.
- Lara (7/5): Perfect for a more remote stay! - At first, we were a but skeptical about the location (we arrived at night), and the first thing we saw was this really scary bridge we had to cross. But the next day, when it was bright outside we saw it was really lovely!
It is a small fishing village! The people are all very friendly here! And the hosts were too!
The bungalows really are on the beach which is so nice! And along the beach are some nice restaurants!
About 1 hour away from El Nido town with Tuk Tuk.
About 30 minutes away from Nucpan Beach! Make sure to leave absolutely no food around in your room or you’ll have ants everywhere! And they sting! We made this mistake during our first night and had to deal with being stung for the rest of our stay!
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Right on the beach in the middle of the village, surrounded by fishermen families. Small property and Jhondee is a gem. Very friendly and informative, he organized transportation from the airport and back to El Nido (CA 1 hour by trycicle). There is always a family member around so you feel very safe.
Within walking distance from Duli Beach (CA 30min) or 10min by bike.
Several restaurants and small grocery shops in the village. No crowds.
Breakfast served at beachfront. Spacious rooms with balcony and private bathroom.
Would go back any time.
- Claudia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rachelle (7/5): Good - Really helpful staff Barking dogs
Approach road very difficult, dirt road with lots of loose stones & rocks
- Michael (8/5): Get away from El Nido and go native - It was a little hard to find that dirt road with several patches of mud because it had rained.
It was well worth it the Bucana ocean front cottages were just what i expected. Basic room with a clean little bathroom made of native materials. Right on the beach.
Jhondee the gentleman running the place was great and very helpful. Thank You Jhondee.
If you like getting away and going a little native this would be a great place for you.
Only two cottages and they are building the third. As so many places in the philippines the neighbors cook with charcoal and the smoke is bad.
- ジュンペイ (9/5): Authentic remote villedge experience - This is a cute cabin run by a very friendly and kind Filipino family.
You can have an authentic experience in a village where there are few tourists.
The pancakes for breakfast were delicious and the time spent playing on the beach with the village children was special. From early in the morning, you can hear the chirping of chickens and the nearby karaoke, but this is for those who want to enjoy the daily life of BUCANA village.
- Jim (8/5): Very good - The cabin was right on the beach with lovely views. The beach was littered with broken glass and plastics. Such a shame to have something so nice and the community not look after it.
- Angela (8/5): Very good - Very friendly hosts!
- Daria (10/5): Exceptional - Nice bungalow at the beach located in a lovely authentic local village.
Great restaurants around with local food and western dishes.
Staying here you will be treated like family by amazing hosts. You will not only have great experience’s but also make friends!
Would really recommend this place for everyone! Nothing
- Luisa (9/5): Superb - This place is 100% own by brothers that lives in Bucana. I love this concept, especially because this is pretty rare to find in Philippines (most of the time a foreigner co-own the accommodation).
We had dinner in a very lovely restaurant at the beach also completely own by an adorable local family.
Is difficult to express how nice, helpful, kind are these young brothers. To arrive there is quite challenging due to the road (especially in rain season), so if you wish to join this place from el nido i recommend to also let them organize the drive with the older brother that has a big car (or to arrive by scooter if you travel super light).
This is not a big resort and in the village seems not been reached by mass tourism yet. I loved to spend one night in this place far away from the stressful and way too touristic el nido.
I believe should go there if you are in a traveling & discovery mood and not if you are looking for a multiple days resting holidays in a resort.
- Stacey (10/5): Proper Philippino living experience. Away from the busy town and lots of people. The staff were very accomadating, frien - The property was stunning. The huts were cute and spacious, bed was comfortable. The sunsets were the best we’ve seen in Philippines so far. The beach at the property is clean but the rest of the beach walking along has some rubbish but it’s in the heart of a very cute Philippino village it’s to be expected. The village kids are so cute they’re so friendly wanting high five’s and asking our names :) made the experience more special seeing how happy they are. The property’s bar and outside area is lovely to sit and chill or sunbath. Paddle board and Kayaks available to rent but very cheap. The food was lovely but not enough vegetarian option for me. I loved the omelettes. Very good prices also compared to properties along the beach. Not enough veggie option and music playing early in the morning but that’s outside the property.
