The view was nice. They had a lot of areas outside where you could sit out and watch the ocean view. Loved all the little extras they offered. The woman at the registration desk was the best. She was very helpful to us and extremely pleasant. The blinds didn’t work well.

We had one little leak in our ceiling from the room above us and after bringing it to the front desks attention, we immediately were offered a new room - they could not have been more on top of it and accommodating! I would highly recommend the Nevada to anyone who will be visiting York!

- Melanie (10/5): Fantastic Beach Hotel - Location, location, location! The Navada Hotel is located across the road from Long Sands beach. There is a view from nearly all the rooms as far as I could tell. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with a cool retro vibe. Great semi-private deck to watch the sunset. All the rooms have a king bed. Unusual tropical type restaurant. (They make their own Spam.) Very high quality food and beverages. They do close at 8:30pm. It seems all of York closes early, so not much nightlife from my investigation. It's a beach town. You would have to travel 15 minutes to Kittery or Portsmith. Overall fantastic hotel. I will return or possibly try one of there sister hotels.

We had a fabulous view of the beach both from our room and from the chairs in the patio outside our door. It was a great escape!!

Val at the front desk was warm and welcoming. Lovely glass of Prosecco upon check in! Bed super comfy. Great view of Long Sands from the balcony. Lulu’s had a great vibe with friendly waitstaff. The food and drinks were all delicious. I think I just found my new favorite hotel. Can not wait to visit again!

No instructions for “speaker” in room! No microwave. No ice machine access and none after 4pm when staff leave. Would we go back, probably not unless amenities are upgraded. Too pricey for having any issues.

- Pamela (10/5): The Nevada is a perfect beachfront hotel - My new husband and I stayed one night in a beautiful oceanfront room for our wedding night before heading on our honeymoon the next day. Everyone I interacted with at the Nevada were so helpful and kind and allowed us to check in after their front desk closed which was a plus. The room was tastefully designed and so comfortable and the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean was breathtaking-exactly what my husband and I were seeking to unwind in. Having grown up in York Maine gave me sentimental memories and I love seeing that the owners of the Nevada kept the charm of the original building allowing it to blend in with the other long standing cottages and homes on Lond Sands while incorporating upscale modern updates on the inside. If you want a peaceful and cozy stay at the beach The Nevada is a great option! We will be back :)

- Anna (10/5): - This place is so cute! The staff was so nice, and the place is beautiful. A snowstorm was supposed to hit, and we were offered a discounted rate in the event we had to stay. The next morning, our car was even dug out of the snow! Would highly recommend.

- Maggie (10/5): - My boyfriend and I will absolutely be staying here again. This place is newly renovated and is absolutely beautiful. It was spotless and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. It is right across the street from the beach and our room had a “garden view” but you could see the ocean from the bed. It was great! They have a restaurant/bar right on site so it’s nice to be able to just walk down and enjoy. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome winter beach getaway - The hotel was amazing. Awesome place to stay on the beach in the winter. But the amount charged to my credit card by hotels.com was different (read: more) than what was quoted at the time of booking. This is no reflection on the hotel, the discrepancy was all on hotels.com.

- John (10/5): Excellent! - We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect, check in was easy and host was very nice. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated, our room was amazing. My only complaint is that the balcony in front of the glass corner room is a common area. We found this out as we were lying in bed watching TV and some people wandered by and looked into our room. Not a big deal, but we rented that room for the view, not to be the view.
