- Gemma (10/5): Would definitely book again - Excellent stay. Clean and comfortable. Everything thought of for a relaxed stay.
Very kind and caring hosts. Would definitely stay again. No negatives
- Elaine (9/5): Perfect, loved the plants in house and information in welcome folder - Location, cosy ,comfy and good e mail contact with host Would have loved a coffee and teapot and hairdryer please
- Greenwood (8/5): - A lovely clean house. We had a very comfortable stay here for 2 nights As a vegan, the cow skin rug, but it didn't bother the rest of my family
- Alex (10/5): Great stay, would recommend - Lovely property, had everything we needed plus some thoughtful extras like milk on arrival, games for the kids etc. Very clean. Good location for our trip to Beamish.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Lee (9/5): Excellent - Lovely house, we’ll be back
- Ana (8/5): - We stayed here to visit Beamish on one day and Tanfield Railway the next. Very convenient to both! The house was warm, comfortable, and functional. Really just ideal for our family of six: two children, two parents, two grandparents. The board games and the vinyl records were a nice touch.
There are several take-away restaurants extremely close, and also a Co-op, so we were able to buy food for dinner and eat at home.
- Anthony (7/5): An ideal location the property has an eclectic mix of style and decor. Great off street parking. - Great location - great road links, close to buses for metro link It was a shame that the property didn’t live up to the previous excellent hygiene reviews. Cooker and microwave needed a good clean.
There are limited crockery items for food preparation and serving.
- Seth (10/5): The house felt like a home. It was clean, spacious, and well maintained. If would stay here again. - The home was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Nothing.
- Hibbydiver (10/5): -
- Richard (9/5): 1 Manor Park - Well placed for our trip with easy access from A1.
- Duncan (10/5): -

- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - The house was lovely, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay,
It was close to shops and short drive to Newcastle where we went for the day,
We would definitely recommend to friends and family We liked everything
- Jane (10/5): Great location and would highly recommend - Great location and would highly recommend Nothing
- Marta (9/5): Family stay to go Beamish museum - We stayed as a family with a 2 year old for a weekend away to visit Beamish museum. Location for that was perfect. The house was very cosy, there was everything you may need and more. Private gated parking. A lot of information left by the hosts so you know exactly what to do. Nice and clean. Furniture and everything was toddler suitable and we had no issues letting him roam around the living area which is always a bonus. The radiator in the master bedroom seemed to not be working so it was a little chilly in there.
- Narayan (10/5): The property was very good, clean and with all facilities required to stay. Highly recommended. - Everything, Nothing
- Jay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights while we visited Beamish museum.
Would highly recommend.
- Karin (9/5): Great house, good layout, fantastic shower and all round very spacious for a group or family stay! - Great house with 3 comfortable bedrooms in a residential neighbourhood. Good and easy access to A roads and the motorway with plenty to do in the area and attractions to see. House is perfect to celebrate a get together. The rooms are even better than in the photos and the bathroom was amazing. Comprehensive info folder and a utility room with everything you needed. There was nothing we didn't like Great selection of good quality crockery and cutlery and lots of pans - perhaps a large bowl for making salad would make the selection of items perfect.
- Sayfur (10/5): Want to stay close to NewCastle or Sunderland. This place is the one!! Nice and clean!!! - The house is clean and amazing!!! I’ve stayed many houses for a short trip and this is the top by far!
Nice and clean!!!
Would be staying again when I do visit Washington!
- Heather (9/5): Great property for getting out in the North East - The property has been really well equipped. Plenty of space in the living areas and all bedrooms are a good size. House has clearly been renovated with some thought and a nice mix of homely rooms but modern bathroom/kitchen/utility/toilet. Drive for one of our cars was a definite bonus but was also easy to park our other car near by. Host responded quickly to messages. Walking distance to some shops and 5 minutes drive off the A1 so perfect if you are getting out and about in the North East. A minor detail but the kitchen would benefit from a handful more cooking items ie some baking trays and a grater - lots of other items there and it really wasn’t a huge issue.
