Guest Reviews
- Elide (10/5): very good very niceee -
- Aline (7/5): -
- john (9/5): -
- vince (8/5): Great site. Terrible location. Great staff. Terrible Tea Supplies - Staff were great fun and accommodating. Tents were watertight The walk from the circuit after a full day at the track was BRUTAL. They also ran out of Tea after first day - that’s really poor and not an expensive out lay to have stock of tea! Not everyone drinks coffee!
- Armindo (8/5): -
- Roberto (10/5): - Las instalaciones, el ambiente Los Lockers para carga de teléfonos y baterías, solo funcionaba la mitad
- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Location is selling point. - Location is biggest thing Walking distance to circuit , is very hilly on way back but makes it so much easier than traveling in. More camping than glamping.
Also would be nice if there was more options for food.
Just buffet
- Tamara (8/5): I would totally recommend staying at Global Tent Villsges when attending races at Spa. - For a camping experience, it was great! The tent was roomy, extremely waterproof, which was important during the rain storms, and the comforter was heavy any warm. There was many times that waiting for food seemed ridiculously long (45 minutes). They fixed that the last day and a half by making two lines, but it’s too bad it couldn’t have been done sooner.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ursula (8/5): Belgium Gran Prix - Facilities were very good for camp site and close to track for Gran Prix On Monday morning, no tea available at breakfast only orange juice, very poor breakfast on Monday morning, staff only interested in packing everything up ASAP
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): A great way to get close the the racing. - Tent and facilities are excellent. Staff very helpful and attentive, the place was clean for the duration of the weekend. Food on offer was very pricey, but that’s to be expected. Campsite just a short distance to the track. Secure. There was no information available about how to travel away from the campsite on the Monday which turned into a disaster because Belgium decided to stop trains running that day.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location with a easy walk to Curcuit Need to try and resolve what is a long que for food
- Frankie (6/5): Perfect stay for race weekend, comfy and clean. Plan ahead with food choices. - Location of the site was perfect for a short walk to the race track - exactly as packaged on the website. The tent was perfect and as expected, beds were comfortable and bedding was great. The toilet and shower facilties were great, cleaned regularly and hot showers! There was a lot of inconsistencies at check-in, some people recieved tours and got explaination of how the food system worked but we didn't unfortuantely. It was fine but took a little longer to navigate through our stay. On the website, it said that if you were staying in a basic tent and you bought an extension cable with you, you could connect to a electric hook up but when we arrived this wasn't an option. Food queues were huge! 40 minutes was the longest we waited in the queue on Saturday night, food was absolutely ok. With no amenities around you, I'd absolutely recommend bringing your own food to the site.
- Arianna (8/5): Comfortable stay, great location for the track. We'd stay here again! - Overall such a great stay! We really liked the location which made it easy to get to the track. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The village was well organised with plenty of showers/toilets. The tents were spacious and comfortable. We felt secure and didn't have any worries when leaving our stuff in the tent as we were provided with a lock. Charging stations also available at reception. Was lovely to meet other people staying there and there was a great vibe in the village. The village was quiet at night and the tents were dry even when it was raining. There were water refill points which was also very good. Just a few things we didnt like. We thought the queue for food was too long and the system didn't quite work as we waited for over one hour after a long day. Especially considering the price of food! It would have worked better having more staff at the food stations or having a buffet style. Breakfast was too late (starting at 7 except for Sunday when it started at 6). For people with general admissions, we had to leave at 6 to get good seats so we weren't able to enjoy it.
Occasionally there was no soap in the toilets. Half of the phone charging stations near reception were not working.
- Stéphanie (8/5): Very good -
- Katie (9/5): Great location great camping and great facilities. - Great location. Facilities clean and plenty of them.
Tents great dry even in the many downpours.
Food nice. Very good The cue for the food was too long. When it goes the whole length of the marquee and then half back itself again it’s too long. Yes we expect a cue and expect to wait but took over 90 mins to get our evening meal.
When it was changed to two food collection areas worked better but should have done that from the Friday not on the final meals. The selection appeared to get less as the days went on especially breakfasts. That said the food itself was very nice.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - The staff at reception were so helpful and kind. They could not do enough for people. Because of them the whole experience was great Bed was not comfortable.
Maintenance of bathrooms was poor
- Jacqueline (8/5): Very good - 20-30 min walk away from the circuit
Great facilities and staff!
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Was very close to the track which was convenient. Food lines were way too long and cost of food and having to wait that long to was less than desirable (looked like at least an hour wait at times). Power charging stations, one part was broken the entire time. Would be good for a WIFI option, and feel like more of a base atmosphere could have been promoted.
- Deborah (1/5): Terrible. - I feel it was mid-sold. It cost £1.004 for two mattresses on the floor. We booked as your promotional materials say it’s 15 minutes from the circuit and my son has problems walking long distances. It is not 15 minutes.
- Michele (8/5): Perfect for a stay at the Belgium F1. - Tents were as expected, but perfect for 2 people. Location was great for F1 as you can walk to the circuit within 25 mins. Car parking also opposite the camp ground so really convenient. Food was great, and bar good value but had to queue for a long time to get food. This appeared however to be sorted on the final evening by creating 2 lines.
- Craig (7/5): Overall great location and place to stay. Staff were nice. Too pricey for what it was, - The location was great. about a 15-20 min walk to the track. However there are some steep hills if you are walking. Worth bearing in mind. The line for breakfast is very long at times. It was Basic, but tasty. Could have done with more toilets. On the hole not bad for camping. Wash facilities could have been larger and cleaner. At some points it was a bit 'messy'
- Galina (1/5): Bad -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Jacob (7/5): Good - The food was good and the tent was spacious. The location was ok too. The measures used to prevent and react to the rainy muddy situation getting to and from the restrooms was inadequate and dangerous. Walking on palates is not an acceptable solution.
- Nico (7/5): Good -
- Gerard (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (8/5): Decent - Location close to track Meals were a little overpriced
- Ria (8/5): One of the best formula 1 events I’ve been to - camping was worth it. - It’s probably as good as camping will get. Great spot for the formula 1, made it so much easier to walk back to accomodation 15 minutes away from the track. Food was nice and there was lots of it. Staff were great. Camping :)
- Levi (9/5): Superb -
- Kanah (10/5): Awesome stay for belgium grand prix - Great atmosphere, awesome spot would definitely come back again.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and the staff were brilliant
- Sharon (10/5): Could not have been improved, everything you could want and need - excellent staff, incredibly helpful, brilliant food, individual showers hot water, plenty of toilets kept clean at all times, staff 24/7 for help Having to leave
- Ege (5/5): Passable -
- Tina (10/5): Great experience in - Staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful.
Everything was clean and well maintained
Food and service was great
Great hot showers
Staff dealt with any problems competently and swiftly Noisy people drinking outside tents till late
Booking.com makes it appear that the large premium tents are what you are booking but in fact on arrival it is clear you only get a basic tent
- Vincenzo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Frank (9/5): Nice great tents - Tents Toiltes
