• Martyna (10/5): Everything was perfect, exceeding my expectations :) - A wonderful place to stay in Durres, and above all, wonderful people. Very helpful and friendly. During my one-week stay (extended beyond the booking), I felt at home. Excellent location near the beach, yet in a peaceful and quiet area. Spacious, very clean rooms, comfortable bed. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary. Comfortable conditions during my travels are very important to me, and staying at Villa Meka was the best decision. I rested and recharged for the rest of my journey :) If I come back, it will only be to the same place. Thank you for everything!
• Dana (2/5): Very poor - They have a yard and its close to the beach and the lady that handles the property on site was very nice! The room had no air conditining in 40+ deg C weather, they had a fan and i thought it would be enough to make it, but unfortunately it was not the case, it could not handle the heat plus it was soo loud that it was impossible to sleep with it on. Not enough outlets, only 2 and one of them (one with the fan was almost fried), the moskito nest was broken and since there not enough outlets you had no where to plug in the antimoskito device). The shower head was broken, the cap would pop of everytime you turned the water pressure up and the support would not keep it place. Just to name a few! Do not recommend!

• Marco (3/5): Not at all satisfied - Room had a fridge We paid for a 4-bed room with air conditioning. We were given a 2-bed room without air conditioning even though we had specifically chosen this room because it would have air conditioning. I sent several messages to the accommodation and no response at all. To still cope with the heat, we had the windows open. But 1 of the windows had a net in front of it but it was broken. This caused an awful lot of flies to come in. I spent all evening trying to kill flies and we did not sleep a wink because we were stung the whole night. In the evening, one of their children repeatedly ran above our room after 12 o'clock, resulting in a lot of stomping.

• Tiago (5/5): Not a "fan" - Location close to the beach. High ceilings mean the room cools down for the night. The curtains and shutters made the room perfect for sleeping in. The booking page mentions air conditioning, balcony, and electric kettle. None were there. We were however supplied with a "fan" and I'm really stretching the definition of what a fan means here. We lovingly nicknamed it "the death trap" because if a short circuit while plugging it in won't get you, the lack of a grate, coupled to the fact it sits atop the fridge, will.
