• Vanessa (10/5): Amazing place, amazing staff, amazing surf spot - The location is incredible, right in front of the surf spot, the hostel is super cute with amazing commun space and most of all the staff were super nice and helpful ! 100% recommend this place. Big special thanks to Javier and Sergio for welcoming me so well !
• Ellen (6/5): You get what you pay for, it's a good hostel if you're just trying to surf. - Location is top notch for surfing! And a short walk to town for coffee or dinner. My sheets smelled a little musty.

• PB (8/5): - Un lugar de playa muy tranquilo y acogedor. Desde que llegas se siente una vibra relajada y especial, perfecta para desconectar. Todo tiene un encanto que te hace bajar el ritmo y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la playa. Ideal si buscas calma y un ambiente bonito frente al mar 🌊✨
• Petra (9/5): Super Unterkunft direkt am Meer - Die Lage direkt am Meer, es gibt fussläufig diverse Restaurants, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen und das Casa Lobos jedem weiterempfehlen. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war sehr niedrig. Damit das Zimmer gereinigt wurde, mussten wir mehrmals nachfragen, das könnte verbessert werden.

• Guest (5/5): Correcte pour le prix - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement, Casa Lobos est directement sur la plage et au surf spot ! La fenêtre était brisé dans la chambre donc beaucoup de moustique et nous avions seulement une petite couverte pour dormir. De plus, ce n'était pas propre, il y avait un vieux shampoing dans la douche quand nous sommes arrivés, plusieurs moustiques écrasés sur les murs. Dommage car l'emplacement est bon et le personnel sympathique.
• Adèle (9/5): Hôtel en bois face à la mer ! Amoureux des chiens et de la plage c’est le spot ! Obrigada Luis ! Gracias Javier ! On rec - Luis et Javier sont très aidants et réactifs et de plus très sympa ! Hôtel face à la mer, directement les pieds dans le sable. Chambre propre ! Possibilité de cuisiner et de prendre des cours de surf ! La cuisine partagée n’est pas très entretenu. De plus pour le petit déjeuné cela est dommage qu’on ne puisse pas faire le notre.
• Isabel (10/5): Maravillosa estancia - Todo estuvo súper bueno!, las habitaciones, la ubicación, el desayuno, etc. Ambos hosts (Javier y Luisinho) fueron súper amables, atentos y 100% serviciales. Hicieron que nuestra estancia sea perfecta 🙌. 1000% recomendado Casa Lobos 🤗 Todo me gustó, pero sé que siempre hay oportunidades de mejora y en ese sentido creo que podrían brindar el servicio de almuerzo todos los días de la semana, y que tengan la opción de cocktails, por si se desea hacer algún brindis.

• Alain (10/5): El sitio perfecto para surfear y estar en la playa, muy cerca de la naturaleza. - El Hotel está muy pensado para los amantes del Surf y de la Playa, las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias y está localizado directamente enfrente de la playa. El personal es muy amable y en mi caso me ayudaron más allá de lo que normalmente uno espera. Pueden mejorar el desayuno.

• Erica (10/5): Loved it! - I booked two nights and ended up staying 3 weeks. Such a nice spot right at the beach and Javier and Luisinho are the best and made me feel very welcome from start. So happy I chose Casa Lobos!

• Naomi-rose (10/5): Magical. Great chocolate cake. Two cute dogs. Bbq special. - Javier and Luisinño were great host made us feel at home and they are always happy to help. The location was incredible! Closet to the beach and point. Have areas that are guarded from the wind so you can relax in the sun or shade while gazing into the ocean, just so magical. Javier is able to organise large waters delivered and if you ask him for a special dinner and give him your budget he will cooked a beautiful bbq up for you. Ours was amazing there was 5 of us and it was 40 sols each, we had 3 types of meat, grilled asparagus, shredded lettuce with fresh baguette topped with chimichurri. There was nothing to dislike
• Adam (10/5): Casa Lobos is a picturesque paradise. - You can't beat this location. Meters from the surf. Javier is such an excellent host and Luis is a beauty, both of them made us feel super welcome. Lots of boards to rent and loads of places to chill or play games. 10/10 would recommend and will visit again next trip.
• Selma (10/5): The best - The hostel is right at the beach and closest to the surfspot. The owners are really helpful, friendly and take care of the good vibes :) Definitely recommended!
• Oscar (10/5): Nice cruising days - The location, value for money accomodation, the cleanliness, the friendliness, the ocean view, the good infrastructure nearby (good variety of nice affordable restaurants at a walking distance), the helpful & smiley staff, we got lucky by meeting nice, friendly guests who eventually became friends and partners in surfing & road tripping adventures. I strongly recommend this place. Good mattress, comfy. You can walk all the way to Piscinas 🌊 in 10 minutes. You can also rent surfboards and wetsuits in site or nextdoor. We didn't score so many waves. It's advisable to check the surf forecast before going up North. It's also advisable to bring a surfboard with volume, i.e. fun board or even a longboard.
• Christy (10/5): Exceptional - The environment was really nice and the staff was super friendly and made us feel like at home. The location was in front of the beach and that was spectacular!! We are looking forward to going back in the future! All was great!
• Baila (10/5): Peaceful and welcoming - I only stayed for 1 night, but it was an exceptional experience. I arrived late and they were so helpful in coordinating a smooth check in. The property is beautiful, clean and right on the beach, but also in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. Javier, the manager was so kind and, even though I wasn't staying long, he offered to help me with whatever I needed and made me feel like I was really cared for. It was also very quiet at night, so it was one of the best sleeps of my entire trip!

People there are amazing, Luizinho e Javier trated me very well and the vibe of the hostel is spectacular!

• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Luis and Javier run an extremely good accommodation! The location is perfect, right on the beach and next to two places where you can rent surfboards or take lessons. The chill area is super nice with hammocks, pool table and fusbol table. The rooms are super clean and comfortable and come with their own fan and also lockers for safe keeping belongings. Luis and Javier are always there to help or have a friendly chat and they made my stay in Lobitos a super nice and chill experience! Cute dogs also!

• Jan (4/5): Bad value for money with a great view - The hostel is at seafront and a stone throw away from the point break. Friendly staff. Public areas had pool table Bad value in comparison to what you pay. The twin room was also very hot, no difference between day and night. Small fan had no chance. On top my room was dirty. I think it was not cleaned after the last guest. Staff spoke no or pour English, which is ok if there were some kind of written instructions, so I could have used a translator app.
• Chiara (9/5): Absolutely recommended! - Manager and care taker super friendly and nice and helpful! Our double room was beautiful and clean and with an amazing view. The common areas are just on the beach in front of the wave. Few minutes walking anyway from the tiendas. Probably the only place with a kitchen! Cheap surfboard rent as well.. just amazing!!! Be aware the bar and breakfast weren t available: maybe double check with them if it is important to you. The kitchen is already pretty small only one person at the time and I think they could/should keep it a bit better organised.. But still.. they have a full functioning kitchen!

The location is perfect, just in front of the point break, you can sip your coffee and literally pick when to go surfing and make the most of it. Luis and Javier are such amazing humans and the dogs are friendly polite and beautiful. Very safe, friendly, clean and surfy vibes as per decorations, layback and comfortable. We loved it!! Nothing, everything is just amazing
• Chantal (9/5): Great location great place to stay - Javier was so warm and nice, he helped me multiple times with questions I had about how to go to… The room was really nice with warm shower and a nice bed. In the night I used the fan which was silent. Location is at the beautiful beach. They rent wetsuits and surfboards. Also nice different spots to chill with sunbeds, hammocks and chairs! They also have pingpong, biljart and other things to do! They have a kitchen which I didn’t use but is fine. I really recommend to stay here, they just opened last july!
• Gregory (10/5): Exceptional - The best place to stay by far in Lobitos! Comfortable rooms with nice showers and you are able to wake up and walk straight out to the best surf break in Lonbitos. There is board storage, kitchen access, hammocks and a pool table with outdoor showers to rinse off. Javier and Luis are incredible hosts and made my stay the best. Don't look any further, it you are trying to surf in Lobitos and enjoy comfortable amenities after in a chill environment, this is the best place.
• Raphael (9/5): All together super nice stay - Exceptional good hostel with good accommodation, pool table, kicker table a kitchen and Wi-Fi. Surf classes are possible, Javier and his group is awesome and they have mosquito nets in the dorm. I had no idea that Lobitos doesn’t have a single atm so since they only accept cash, I had to go back to Talara with a collectivo, a car that collects ppl at the entrance of the village, for 6 soles to go to Talara. So keep that in mind. Would have been great if they accept card in the hostel
• Terence (8/5): Very good - This is a primo surf spot, there are heaps of advanced surfers here all the time hugging the break. The hotel room is nice and right close to surf hire facilities, small walk from a few restaurants and shops. Was a very nice stay. Well worth it to get the room. The kitchen is okay, can't go too all out with cooking here, at least there's adequate stuff available. The destination is remote, but this side of Lobitos is far less remote. The dorm gets stinky and sandy, kinda better to pay more and get your own room.
• Rach (10/5): Prefect spot to chill out, with the surf check in your front yard! - Casa Lobos is a hidden gem. Right in front of Lobitos surf break, you are ON the beach. You don't even need to cross the street! 1 minute walk to the best sunset spot - I really couldn't have chosen a better spot! Luis, who looks after the house is great, he has some adorable puppies and makes it feel like home! Javier went out of his way when I arrived late in Talara. I was dealing with some dodgy mototaxis, and he offered to find me a taxi. In the end, he came and drove me to Lobitos. He didn't need to do that, but I was so happy he did (as a single, solo woman arriving in a town late at night!) Thanks for the birthday love Casa Lobos! It was a great day!!!
