• Diego (10/5): Incourtounable si vous passez a Windhoek - Super campsite, propre, familial avec un beau restau et bar. Les serveuses sont super sympa. Distributeur de billets sur place. Tente spacieuse avec matelas chauffant.
• delia (7/5): Agradável, mas podem melhorar - Funcionários muito simpáticos. Boa limpeza das casas de banho. Jardim bem cuidado. As "luxury tents" estão muito próximas umas das outras. O depósito das garrafas de vidro do restaurante deveria ficar afastado das tendas, o barulho dos vidros é muito intenso e desagradável depois das 10 horas da noite. Falta de ponto de iluminação exterior da tenda.

Personal sehr freundlich 👍 (hatten für unsere Rundreise 2 Weingläser und ein Bierglas ausgeliehen um nicht aus Kunststoff oder Metallbecher trinken zu müssen. Wie durch ein Wunder konnten wir die Gläser am Ende wieder zurückgeben 😅)

• Nadja (9/5): - Very nice stay at Urban Camp! The glamping tents are absolutely amazing — super cozy and thoughtfully equipped. One of the best features was definitely the heated mattress for the cold nights, which made the stay extra comfortable during winter. The shared bathroom and toilet areas were always very clean and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. What we really loved was the atmosphere of the place: even though it is located in the middle of the city, it feels like a peaceful green oasis where you can truly relax. We also think Urban Camp is a perfect place to stay before starting a self-drive trip through Namibia or after finishing one. There are only a few small things we would recommend improving for the glamping area. It would be great to have at least a small sink near the tent area to brush your teeth, and ideally maybe even a toilet closer to or behind the tent area. During summer this is probably not a big issue, but during the cold winter nights it can be quite uncomfortable having to walk outside to the shared facilities. Another thing we would suggest is improving communication during check-in regarding the restaurant and breakfast options. On Sundays there was only a very limited dinner menu available (mainly a few wrap options without many side dishes), but this was not mentioned beforehand. If we had known, we probably would have gone into town for dinner instead. The same happened during breakfast on our last morning, where only limited options were available because of a new chef. It would have been nice to know this in advance as well. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay. Cozy glamping tents, a relaxing atmosphere, great staff, and a perfect base in Windhoek — we would definitely recommend Urban Camp!

• Barbara (10/5): - Das Camp ist eine wunderschöne Anlage. Alles sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll. Essen war klasse. Das in der Beschreibung nicht deutlich darauf hingewiesen wird, dass die Toiletten und Duschen von allen Gästen gemeinsam benutzt werden und im Freien sind. Bei 7° fanden wir das nicht so witzig.

• Michael (9/5): Super erster Stop in Windhoek - Wir haben das Zelt gebucht. Schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Für die erste Nacht in Windhoek eine super Anlaufstelle. Um die Ecke kann man bei Joe‘s Beerhouse lecker essen und den Abend ausklingen lassen. Personal etwas verwirrt und wusste selbst nicht wo genau unser Zelt war. Leider keine Möglichkeit einen Fön auszuleihen.

As there was no communication that a requested airport transfer could not be settled with the room bill using a card. Though there is an ATM, there was no cash in it , and the transfer driver had to take me to a shopping centre to draw cash to settle the transfer at 8.30 PM at night. The urban camp staff member who was assisting me with check in , was going to have me leave my luggage in the reception while I went to get cash and once I pushed to be able to put my stuff in my room walked ahead of me and couldn't even be asked to assist with my bag to the room, which i found very disappointing considering all I was juggling.....

• Neil (10/5): Seamless stay - Quiet tented camp in the city. Great facilities and really helpful staff. Fun bar and restaurant for our last night in Namibia. Fixed price taxi to the airport at 04h45 no problem and he arrived slightly early.

• christophe (8/5): - bon rapport qualité prix du glamping (glamour camping) : un lit dans une chambre (définie par une tente) pour 10 fois moins cher qu'un lodge avec un emplacement pratique, près du centre vill eet à distance de marche du restaurant Joe, bon petit déjeuner, piscine, etc... le seul inconvénient qui limite l'enthousiasme, c'est que la qualité de la nuit dans un camping dépend de la discrétion des voisins. Les notres ne l'étaient pas tellement :-(

Alles war super sauber, das Personal freundlich. Die Glamingzelte stehen paarweise sehr dicht zusammen, das heißt man wohnt ein bisschen nah mit seinen Nachbarn.

Nothing major, I wish we had a thicker blanket than the bed sheet. ( To be honest, during the day it was sooooo hot that I didn't think I would need it, but it cooled down a bit in the evening)
