Guest Reviews
- Daniel (8/5): Pleasant stay - Really nice and modern room. Bathroom was lovely with shampoo and shower gel. Bed was comfortable too. The road was quite loud at night, as well as the construction next door (not the staffs fault)
- Michele (8/5): A very good option in Uluwatu - The room is as good as in any good hotel in Europe. Very nice bathroom with shampoo and body soap dispenser. The room is equipped with boiler, tea and coffee like in a very good hotel. Construction site next to the hotel
- Ornella (10/5): Exceptional - Very very perfect
- Ornella (10/5): Exceptional - Very perfect Nothing bad, all it’s very perfect !
Thank you for all
- Jasmin (8/5): great value for money run by friendly people - The staff were incredibly helpful, any problem we had was fixed immediately. They also offered me lifts on their bike at night because of the dark streets. Good AC and Bed slight problem with the shower but was fixed quickly
- Beken (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (6/5): Pleasant - It’s a newer building so there’s isn’t much mold. The staff are very nice and helpful. Location is ok nearby beaches, Savaya and a short walk to shops, restaurants, etc. bedding feels new and fresh. It’s very loud at night because it’s right on the road. Some rooms are louder than others. The WiFi is terrible. Could be better facilities. Some rooms are better than others.
- Sydney (10/5): Exceptional - The most comfortable beds ever. Staff were so lovely and friendly. It was very clean and is not too far from everything.
- Marin (8/5): Very good -
- Lulesya (1/5): Bad - I couldn't contact the guest house, they ignored me, the phone they mentioned didn't work , i tried to contact them through what's app,but messages haven't been delivered, called them, but it says that this phone number is blocked, sent them an email, no response. They didn't even answer in the app, I supposed to arrive in Bali very late, that's why i wanted to be sure that there would be someone there, so i had to book another hotel, because i didn't want to risk and stay outside in the middle of the night. I also checked google Maps, and it says that this guesthouse is closed for good.
My partner requested the full reimbursement ,but no one replied, obviously. Also tried to contact The Booking for them to figure out what is going on, but they didn't help us. So, we just lost money.
- Maxence (1/5): Bad - The staff is really nice specially the receptionist Impossible to find it with google maps
No way to check in before 2pm even 5 minutes before
The shower got only very hot water (wish is terrible when you’re sweating all day)
the shower curtain is moldy
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome staff, comfy bed, great stay!
- Ulas (3/5): I would probably give a bit better comment if the last day was not happened - Value There were dead and alive mosquitoes in the room. Last day there was no water and there was no body to ask about the water. The numbers did not answer, I had to shower with my own drinking water
- Saffron (5/5): Passable - Cheap
- Shyam108 (9/5): Superb -
- Fern (1/5): Bad - The address led to no property, I had to book a last minute hostel. They didn’t pick up the phone or answer any messages leading up to the trip, this included the check in info. Scam.
- Karolína (8/5): Very good -
- Irina (8/5): Comfortable bed and facilities. Very polite staff. Wi Fi is not very good. Also the location on book - Comfortable bed and facilities. Very polite staff. Wi Fi is not very good. Also the location on booking is wrong. Wrong location on Booking.com as well as a very slow WI FI
- Adelina (8/5): Very good -
- Mayco (8/5): One of the best place to stay in Pecatu - I liked the kindness of the staff, the air conditioner was working perfectly. If you rent a motorcycle, you can park it in front of your room. The double bed was very comfortable, and when I requested a change of sheets and towels, there was no problem at all. The cons of the place is so far away from everything, you need a motorbike to move everywhere. There’s a bike rental close to the house.
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- D92 (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mayco (8/5): Great place to stay - It’s a nice place in Pecatu and there’s a nice restaurant around the corner. The main route is a 5’ walk and laundry service 100 meters away. Nice bathroom and cozy bed. You need to have a motorbike to move to every place.
- Erika (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shantelle (10/5): beautiful, welcoming and homely feel - the pause inn quite literally felt like home! sarin especially was so helpful towards all my needs. I loved coming back from my day and sitting at the table with him and his friends singing and playing the guitar, so many beautiful memories here. I even injured my toe and he helped me treat it. The bedroom is so cosy and comfy with all the essentials you need. The people who stayed here whilst I was here were lovely and friendly!! :)) the pause inn will always have a place in my heart and I will definitely return. I loved everything

- Stefano (1/5): My worst Booking.com experience in 15 years of travelling - don't go, book somewhere else - I initially booked 15 days staying for the convenient price per private room. After a week or so I've kindly asked the staff to clean my room, which they did, but leaving the bathroom dirty. I left for the weekend to another location in Bali and when I came back the bathroom was full of water, a pipe was broken. The guy fixed it, therefore I kindly ask to clean the bathroom, he left the sink untouched. Being already 10 days in the place, the sink looked pretty bad, so I've asked him to please clean the sink as dirty, the guy replied this is outside of his working hours...being a 10 second action, I've asked if I can get something to clean and I do it myself, he said they don't use any products...so he gave e a towel to clean the sink with (unbelievable). I've asked for the number of the boss, as their Whatsapp number appearing on Booking doesn't work (and the place appears as permanently closed on Google Maps) but waited with writing a message.
The next night, it's 2am and the staff is still drinking beers next to my room, so I write a message to the owner asking to please inform their staff of going to sleep because guests want to sleep. He himself replies rudely to me (same as I was treated by his staff previously) and tell me to check out if I don't like something and he will do a refund..at 2am, in a foreign country, being alone, I decide I try to sleep and speak to them the next morning but they keep going on. I start to believe the owner is there with them, as he's replying to me at that hour of the night! Long story short, they kept drinking and talking until 5.30am, not letting me sleep that night. The next morning I decide to leave (two nights before my paid stay ends there), but when asking about the refund, the owner stops to reply. What a scam!
- Bogdan (4/5): It's the cheapest for a reason, but still it's lacking on basic needs. - The position is good, you're close to everything, but you can hear all the cars passing at night, because the rooms aren't insolated, also there's a bar nearby where people gather to play pool, so if you're an early sleeper, they're gonna wake you up. Wifi was terrible, my room had mold on the walls, bathroom door didn't close and had a strange smell, sometimes the power went off
- Muhammed (10/5): Recommend you to stay here. - Overall worth it for every penny you pay. Very Friday staff who are available any time of the days. They can help you with renting a bike too. Place was very clean too and the AC and shower were all working very comfortably.
- Klára (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful rooms, kind owners, price, everything great. Sometimes bad conection with wifi, but was ok
- Giorgos (3/5): Poor -
- Dean (1/5): Bad - Nothing This is the worst place I ever stayed. Stuff very rude, with zero customer service knowledge , very noisy and loud places from the road, scooter and local next door shop people. massive bugs all over the place, bathroom smells horrible...
- Joelle (8/5): Very good -
- Fp (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (9/5): Great value for money - Nice accommodation with excellent value for money.
The best about the accommodation is the staff! Sharin and his brother are super nice and helpful with any problem. As a plus you even get to enjoy their live music sessions in the evening, very talented guys! Not much to complain about
- Franziska (4/5): Disappointing - Mold Mold
- Anton (3/5): Poor - price stuff was drank
we didnt sleep all night because stuff was very loud
- Bec (5/5): I wouldn’t stay there again - The beds were comfortable, nice sheets and towels. Furniture in good condition, nice lights next to bed. Hot shower. I arrived at night and waited for 45mins before someone arrived to check me in. No reply when I messaged/called to say I had arrived.
There was a couple yelling for over an hour in the courtyard at around 3am in the morning. When I asked them to be quiet the man proceeded to get louder.
The traffic noise from street is loud.
- Mark (3/5): Poor -
- Sian (5/5): Comfy mattress, but bed linen was already used, very dirty - Water pressure in the shower.
Very comfy mattress Bed linens were very clearly not clean.
Very poor wifi, with little phone signal
No check in, no staff, just one shy cleaner
- Ines (6/5): Pleasant - Great bedroom, comfortable bed and nice bathroom, friendly staff who provided us with an extra towel Too far from Uluwatu and you can hear all the cars outside
- Rayene (6/5): Pleasant - Good location The bathroom was dirty
- Felipe (1/5): Bad - I tried to arrive but they didn’t answer to me so had to find another place. By now no answer about refund. Super bad communication.
- Luciana (9/5): Superb -
- Beth (8/5): Clean, comfortable, good price, and in quiet location but shower fell off wall and wifi not work - It was clean, comfortable, good price, and in quiet location it was hard to get in contact with the property (whatsapp didn't work, phone number also) and the shower fell off the wall as soon as I used it.
wifi didn' work
- Christoforos (9/5): Great value for money - The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. The WiFi was not great.
- Victor (6/5): Pleasant - Clean and big accomodation Too far from Uluwatu, bad wifi and no 4G service
- Laura (4/5): Disappointing - The room itself was really nice, good bathroom and confortable pillows and bed. You can hear everything from the outside, the guesthouse is next to a road and you are constantly hearing bikes and cars.
- Bosko (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is very close, good located accommodation. Just bathroom need to be a little bit more fixed, and not so good washing machine, because clothes was not so good washed.
- Louise (8/5): Very good - clean room (new) noise coming from the road
- Andrew (7/5): Good - This appears to be a new guesthouse, so everything looks brand new. The bed was really comfortable. I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but I was surprised no one offered to sweep the room in my week stay.
- Renato (10/5): Exceptional - Room was really good size,mini fridge,air conditioner,big comfy bed...
Good value for the price.Staff is also nice, they rent scooter too.
Nice apartments, not too far from Uluwatu central-10min scooter ride.
Not a hostel vibe, don't think it gets really social. The fridge in my room was full with lots of left overs take aways from previous guest.
- Esmée (10/5): Very comfortable and clean accommodation with friendly staff - Very comfortable and clean spacious rooms with plenty of storage and places to hang clothes etc. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, sorting us with mopeds and letting us extend the stay. Water and a fridge on the stairway was a nice touch! Quite a long and busy drive from Uluwatu beach. Room was filled with 100s of mosquitos when we first arrived.
- Ahmed (9/5): Best deal - The room was spacious and had everything we needed. For the price we paid we expected something really basic and didn't have high expectations. But we were impressed! Everything was great, whenever we needed something the staff came right away and they were really helpful. The place was clean, everything was really new and we were feeling like we got the best deal for the price paid! The only issue was that there were these kind of worms (i think it's called centipede) that we found quite a few (only on the floor) because apparently they were entering through a small hole on the ground. As soon as we told the staff they told us that unfortunately other rooms have this issue too so we couldn't change but they suggested to clean the room for us again even if it was the day after check in. This was the only minus but the rest was perfect!
- Amy (10/5): Lovely new hotel - The property is lovely, our room was very clean and the bed was extreamly comfortable.
The staff were very attentive and were on hand if we ever needed them.
Good location, close to the nicest beach we have visited so far in Bali.
We enjoyed our 4 day stay and would definitely return if we are in uluwatu again.
Thank you
- Andrey (6/5): Pleasant - Very responsive and friendly personell Rooms lack of furniture, location is close to road and walls pretty thin
- Bailey (8/5): Great value. Would rebook! - The property is near new so very modern. Room is very large, has room to hang items and mirror with desk outside bathroom is a nice touch. Shower pressure is good and has hot water. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tucked away so it is quiet but close scooter ride to beaches, restaurants and more. Great value! Bathroom had terrible smell, this definitely needed a good clean.
- Anne (10/5): Cosy space in a good location, all new - All new, good location too with a few gyms and good restaurants around, easy drive to the beaches from here, helpful staff, cosy space. They even had a water cooker and fridge on the stairs. Water in the bathroom was flooding the bath after showering a bit, since the drain was on the other side of bathroom (under the sink) instead of the shower corner, not a big deal for me though.
Wifi was unfortunately too weak for a video call and only held through without the video on. Other than that for browsing and writing it was enough. Maybe that can be improved, cuz I assumed from the pics with the desk set-up the Wifi would be good for working :).
- Ramon (8/5): Good for 1 night sleep that I stay . - Good illumination room , conditions of the room look very new and the location . Need to improve in cleaning details in the floor and bathroom few spiders in the bathroom .
- Kristina (10/5): Perfect new accomodation in Uluwatu - The owners were super friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. They are a new business in Uluwatu and I can’t recommend enough. A clean environment with all new facilities! Nothing!
- Thinat (10/5): My stay was amazing thanks the amazing owners. - The owners, Diana and her husband and their two staff were beyond incredible. Whatever you need, they will provide and they always made sure they accommodated us. The place is perfect with a super comfortable bed. Everything is beyond clean. The location is amazing. You have everything you need close by.
Nice balcony with comfy chairs to read a book or relax. I would definitely stay there again when I go back to Uluwatu. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
- Geraldine (10/5): Comfortable, clean, great value for money. - The PauseInn guesthouse is one of my fav by far. I highly recommend staying here. The staff were so warm and welcoming and always making sure that you were comfertable. This guesthouse is brand new, with all new facilities and amenities. I genuinely felt at home and cozy. Im also not a huge fan of bugs and i did not see one bug in my room!! which was a major plus. You really get so much value out of this place for such a cheap / affordable price!! You are not far off from the main favourite spots (bingin/padang/etc). Although it may take 5-10 minutes to get to these spots, i enjoyed the distance as i loved riding on the back of the gojeck relaxed and taking the surroundings in. BOOK HERE!! nothing to complain about i was very comfortable.
