Guest Reviews

- Daniel (7/5): - Really good price

- Karren Kayle (10/5): It was such a good decision to stay here. You can go everywhere because it is near everywhere - Clean None

- Markus (7/5): Ok place to stay near the airport in Puerto Princesa - Pretty nice room ( for 2 people. It fits 3 though ) with private shower/toilet and sink inside the room which was nice.
There is also small table with 2 chairs inside the room.
Fan was good and kept the room cold enough. Little bit weird smell in the room though.
Walking distance from the airport and also walking distance to the city area near by.
Free water refill + coffee was a big plus Wifi was really bad inside the room. Outside in the main area it worked ok.
Airplanes do fly over the guesthouse sometimes so keep that in mind... for us it didn't matter.
- Isabelle (2/5): Okay - Value for money was good Room was extremely small and the shower was on top of the toliet which made it really hard to shower especially if your a larger person. Water was cold but I expected that for the money we paid
- Philippe (8/5): Très bien - Tres bien qualité prix et personnel tres accueillant, a recommander
- roiné (9/5): - Très propre. Très avenants.proche aéroport 15 min à pieds.
- Abella (10/5): -
- Gallinero (9/5): -
- Boransing (9/5): -
- Jeraldine_09 (7/5): Good - Good overnight stay in puerto princesa. Good room for value. No proper kitchen area. Internet was weak. Low water pressure and the bathroom was small. The bed linens don't smell fresh.
- Abigail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stijn (4/5): Great for one night inbetween flights - Easy check-in and check-out. Place wasn’t clean, lots of insects and gekko’s. Bed was ‘wet’ and uncomfortable. There was no curtain and the multiple chickens kept us away all night. We arrived at 3.00am from a flight, so just stayed for a short night. It was perfect for that, but nothing more.
- Sittie (8/5): worthy of its price - Friendly/accommodating staff A bit rough road
- Thayná (7/5): Two totally different experiences: terrible and normal - We stayed at Sealor on two occasions. The first time was terrible, there were children running and screaming around the rooms late at night and early (from 5:30 am) and also listening to music very loudly on the balcony of the house (which is one meter from the guest window) throughout the morning. I couldn't stand the music and had to ask them to turn it down, because I needed to sleep, after all we stayed up late because of the noise from the children outside.
The next day, we had a transfer to El Nido, which we bought directly from the hotel receptionist that would leave at 1 pm. Since check-out was at 12 pm, we spoke to the same person who sold us the transfer and she said that we could be there until 1 pm without any problems and for free, because someone from the staff would come to pick us up when the van arrived. This same person said that we should be ready at 12:30 pm, because the van could come earlier. When we arrived from lunch at 12:15, another person came to tell us that we had to leave because checkout was at noon. Since the first person wasn't there, we made them talk to each other and we were finally able to stay in the room until the van arrived at 1:40. We didn't like the situation, but we took the shuttle anyway. The shuttle stayed with us in the van until 3:40 when the trip to El Nido began. The driver told us that it was a shared tour and that they didn't leave at 1:00, only at 3:00.
So I don't know what happened because they sold us a 1:00 when it was only leaving at 3:00. In short, we wasted the whole day in a van that arrived in El Nido at 8:40. I don't recommend buying a transfer with them for this reason.
- Alba (10/5): Nice little pension - Everything is exactly as the photos. The place was really clean and the room medium size. You have a restaurant 3 mins walking and 10 mins a modern shopping mall. The place is not noise... just sometimes some barking from the street dogs but i slept really well. I would recommend this place for sure location and money. The owner was really nice helping with everything, and we paid the van for port barton for 550 pesos. Good price because in other places they were requesting 600 or more.... Nothing
- Giulia (7/5): Good price and location for a very simple accommodation - The room is very simple and basic. Just right for stopping close to the airport. With plenty of places to eat or get a SIM card nearby. Great price! Moldy smell, fairly uncomfortable bed, really cramped spaces, and a noisy fan... if you choose this place, you need to be adaptable! :)
- Stevenvd (10/5): Great stay in PP - We enjoyed our stay. Large spacious and comfortable room.
The locatjon is very convenient, close to the airport and town. There is a nive outdoor siting area with complimentary coffee.
The staff were great.
- Paul (4/5): Disappointing - Ladies very helpful comfortable bed Noisy kids barking dogs day and night
- Worldglobetrotter (9/5): Kind staff and good location as it’s at walking distance both from the airport and from the jetty. - The hotelier was nice and helped me calling in Tagalog (English is indeed widespread, but it was kind from her) some people I had to deal with for my excursions (especially the one to the native tribe was difficult to organise as a budget independent traveller, but fortunately I had the direct contact of Rosy which is the person in charge to deal with the Batak people – I left her phone number to the hotelier in the hope that an affordable price will be able to boost such tours because in this way you discover the roots, the culture and the traditions of the Philippines beyond the party beaches). The hostel is actually centrally located in town and at walking distance from the airport. The room was nice, though the toilet was very narrow. The Wi-Fi was good and there is a cold/hot drinking water dispenser in the common area. No payment by card nor through booking.com website. The tiny muddy road that leads to the hostel is hard to find (but people I met in the neighbourhood were very nice and led me to there), dark at night and flood when it rains.
- Rodriguez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gonzales (10/5): Exceptional - its clean and excellent accommodation.. with free coffee nothing
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonna (9/5): Superb - I arrived late at night but was still able to check-in, thank you for that! I also left early in the morning so I didn't have time to actually enjoy the accommodation much, but for the one night I stayed the price was very good. Got a huge room for so cheap. Also just 5min walk to my van to Port Barton :) Forgot to add toilet paper to bathroom
- Janice (9/5): Superb -
- Guillermo (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff
Close to the airport and the city
Good price
Comfortable room
- Kondehop (5/5): Cheap and very simple - Fairly cheap. People are kind. Small inhouse store available. Rooms are tiny, really dated. Smelled a bit mouldy.
- Kyza (10/5): Exceptional - Property is okey and safe. Staff is accomodating
- Rosetom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rocabo (8/5): Very good - Prons: very responsive, staff are nice room is clean Wi-Fi is okay, free coffee and water
Cons: no hot shower, the location in google map is not right we ended it up on the barking dogs street, not safe but we made it to get there.
- Antonio (8/5): Very good -
- Ira (9/5): Superb - Everything was good. Free water and coffee. The location was ok, too. Nothing
- Celemen (7/5): Make your Wifi Accessible on your rooms and be more welcoming. - Cleanliness and Quiet Staff & Wifi
- Sara (6/5): You can find better rooms for the same price in PP - The room was clean WiFi only works next to the "reception"
- Ellie (9/5): Good value for money would stay again - Good value for money
Good location
Big room
Fan was powerful
Quiet at night WiFi didn’t work in the room
- Jenifer (7/5): Good - It was great if only there wasn’t power interruptions. Too hot that you couldn’t sleep. We weren’t able to rest well.
- Anton (10/5): Exceptional - Simple cheap and cozy room. Ideal for staying for one night if you want to rest after or before your flight. Not far from the airport. There was not a soap, shampoo. The floor in the room not enough good.
Not a/c
- Kara (9/5): EXCELLENT!!! - the place is clean.. kind staff and owner..very accessible and convenient to everything..we will book again...the price is very competitive... thank you..and see you again. just add electric fan in family room..but everything is fine..it's so happen that it is summer...
- Lofi (4/5): Disappointing -
- Qinghua (8/5): Very good -
- Dasa (5/5): Passable -
- Maricel (9/5): Simple yet satisfying stay at Sealor Pension House. - Rooms are well maintained by the owner Ms. Jesibel. It's spotless for budget-friendly accommodation. The location is just near SM Puerto Princessa, the airport, and the banks. It's been personally managed by the owner. The staff are very friendly though they're quite shy at first. Nothing so far. I have been referring them to our guests and even they are impressed. The place is simple but you have what you need.
- Aila (10/5): Exceptional - Location and comfiness None so far
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Ilona (5/5): Up to 1 night stay if you really have to. - - not the cleanest room, with geckos
- lack of the hot water, water pressure very low
- room has windows but there is no day light as the open to the inside of the builing
- noisey
- half of the space is taken by the kitchen (?) but there is only sink and empty cupboards in there
- Antoaneta (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and quiet place. Close to the city center and to the airport. Friendly stuff. Free water and coffee. There is a cheap and delicious street food nearby.
- Jack (6/5): Ok for the night and quick stop over. - The location was ok, we did get in late at night. Instructions was great on how to reach the hotel. The WiFi didn’t reach our room, a simple extender would fix this issue.
- May (10/5): 4 d - Friendly staff and good location
Very close to PPA Nothing
Everything is fine
- Ivan (5/5): Passable -
- Margie (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (7/5): Good -
- Dana (9/5): Sealor Pension House is an excellent, safe, clean spot to come & go to the airport at PP - Sealor Pension House is an excellent location when coming or going to the Puerto Princesa airport.
Nearby shops, restaurants and businesses to get errands done while in the city. The roosters near by are loud nearly all day and the planes can startle you at first - minor aspects.
- Rovi (10/5): Good value for money - Friendly & helpful staff. Room with aircondition is nice & comfortable. Free hot/cold water & coffee. Location is a bit hard to find at first. Street is quite narrow, but just enough for my car to pass through.
- Maria (9/5): Superb - Very clean place! The room was small but had everything necessary. They also help with organizing tours and transportation at what I thought was a good price!
- Heili (6/5): Good for a short stay - The location was close to airport, just 15min walk. AC is available for extra 150 PHP. Good for 2 night short stay. There were bugs in the room, a cockroach and gekos. It’s very noisy as well, with planes flying over head and the roosters screaming in the morning for hours. also if there are other people outside you can hear it. if you don’t get the AC the room gets very humid and you feel hot and moist all the time.
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Close to downtown Maybe they should clean their aircon because it is not working so well. Overall stay was good and easy for us to roam around. They offer tour package as well. Our team enjoyed our stay 🙂
- Valan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guillermo (8/5): Nice hidden place in Baltan - Tidy and clean.
Value for money. It may not be easy to locate from Palawan North Road but there must be a way.
- Dana (10/5): The location was great, walkable from the airport and easy to walk to restaurants. Very clean & safe. - The staff was friendly upon check in. Complimentary water and coffee was great. Good location to walk from the airport. Close to our scooter rental (Kim Car & Bike). Easy to walk to restaurants. The room & common areas were clean. Good wifi for phones & laptop. We felt safe. The parking for our 2 scooters inside the gate was ideal.
- Dompy (7/5): Good - We only stayed for one night to catch a flight the next morning. The rooms were good. There was free tea and coffee in the morning, but we did not have time to take any. Recommend to stay if you have a flight. Only 15mins from the airport walking and there are resturants around the area.
- Daniele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maurizio (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean place.
- Kaden (9/5): Superb - Very good location. It's close to the airport (20 minutes walk) and to the main road where you can find bars, restaurants and shops.
It's in a quiet area. Coffee and water are for free.
Bed is comfortable. Nothing
- Bascones (7/5): Good - Don’t expect a lot from this place, you get what you paid for, no the most comfortable beds, the girl in reception didn’t help me at all when I asked about sites or things to do around, I know there isn’t a lot but I guess is a typical question when you are in a new place. No drinkable water but good location, kinda close to the airport
- Noel (1/5): Bad - Wifi and coffee Location and the attittude of the staffs.
- Miroslaw (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, all I needed, best location for the airport
- Zillah (9/5): Good place to stay - Location was good, walking distance from the airport. Also walking distance to the market, mall, and sights. Lots of shops, eateries and bars in the area. Room was large enough and the fan was quiet. Staff were very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend. Free cold drinking water is a lovely touch. We were also able to book our onwards travel from them. Would stay again. We had a triple room, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the space between the two bunks is a bit small, but it's OK if you're careful
- Emmanuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philippe (8/5): Very good - Very close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Very nice staff, always helpful. A bit noisy at night, as.closw to bars. No WiFi in the room,.only at the reception.
- Philippe (8/5): Very good - Close to some bars and restaurants. Quiet
- Manuela (8/5): Nice short stay in clean room - The best ist the location. It is really close to the airport and to a main street where you can find conveniet stores, ATMs and restaurants. The hosts are really nice and you can find free water and coffee at the front desk. We had a 3 person room and the lower bed was a bit small for 2 people. Also it‘s really close to the airport and the passing airplanes are really loud. So be aware
- Melogane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esmée (8/5): Very good - Enormous room, nice staff. Near the airport. The matrass was very thin, not comfortable. Because of a street renovation the distance from the airport was quite a bit longer than expected. 1,8 km in stead of 1,1 km. This might change in de next months.
- Klara (8/5): Very good - Nice staff. They helped us with the transport and arranged the better price for children. I really appreciate it! Nothing. Simple accommodation but we arrived at night and moved the next day. For that purpose it was a good choice.
- Brett (3/5): Poor - The whole room smelt moldy, including the bed and pillows.
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Lucinda (6/5): Okay for a stopover from the airport. Helpful staff. - Staff were very accommodating, assisted us with van transfers to El Nido. The room was basic but had everything you need for a short stay. Good location near the airport. No air conditioning so room was quite hot (did have a fan but didn't help much). Bed was hard and uncomfortable.
- Mandy (9/5): Excellent value and location - Such lovely staff. The free coffee and creamer were great. It was quiet at night, but is only a short walk down to a busy road with loads of restaurants. We were able to leave our bags there after we checked out. We walked the 15 minutes to the airport for our flight back to Manila. The room was a bit hot during the night, even with the fan on
- Lauren (8/5): Very good - Cheap and great location within walking distance of useful malls and shops for us. Friendly staff. Super clean. Small bathroom is the only fault and for a short stay it was more than adequate.
- Jade (8/5): Very good -
- Sbiswas (8/5): Good for a night stay - Located near Airport. Good for a night stay. Clean rooms. Someone is always available in reception. Free coffee and water. The washroom is too small.
- Anonymous (4/5): Is what you’d expect for 650 ps a night - There was a nice outdoor seating area. Free coffee was available so made it an easy space to enjoy in the mornings. Beds were not comfy and showers were cold. There was ac but we’d be charged extra for it. Poor location. Pretty hard to find.
- Patrick (7/5): Good -
- Jo (8/5): Very good -
- Jo (8/5): Very good -
- Van (8/5): It was good - It’s near the airport Nothing
- Donna (8/5): Perfectly fine - Clean, comfy bed
- Kalille (5/5): Passable -
