Guest Reviews
- Deborah (8/5): - Closeness to Paternoster waterfront Really didn't expect property to be as small as it was. Personally I thought photos were deceiving. Kitchen was really basic.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Location was incredible.
- Shamsoonisa (9/5): - Excellent Location. Very private. The name was not on the outside board. Had to struggle to find the place.
- carol (8/5): - The view, the setting.
The room was adequately furnished and lovely bed, bedding and towels provided. Just the has stove that didn't work.
Would suggest you add a lighter to light fire and a tongs to braai.
Other than that everything was sufficiently provided for.
- Alca (10/5): Exceptional - Location No braai tongs
- Wendy (10/5): Beautiful location - Love the location and comfort. It's a gorgeous place and we will definitely visit again. The shower water temperature was a bit unstable
- Sandy (1/5): Bad - Advertised as 1 bedroom (Bach)
NO windows to open (fresh air)
Chairs were stolen/taken
Electricity off for 2 days
Fight for designated parking
NO outside light at braai
NO Feedback from rental agents.

- Mihlali (9/5): Absolutely loved the location, a true hidden gem. Perhaps directions should be more clearer but the lady who was helping - I loved the location, and how big the space was.
The check-in and check-out process was seamless.
The place had everything I needed. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Paternoster The TV is a bit small and the resolution was very dark. But I wasn’t using it much so can’t really complain.
- Frederik (8/5): Very good - Good location. Parking is a bit of a squeeze, but very safe.
- Sylvia (6/5): Pleasant - Private space on the beach Cold shower, Gas geyser not functional. they attended to the problem, but not resolved. Water pressure was non existing. Owners should experience their own facilities prior renting it out. It must be 100% functional.
- Tamlyn (9/5): Would definitely stay again - Beautiful location, comfortable room. No milk provided so I had to go and buy, but there was tea and coffee.
Shower not hot or strong enough (gas shower)
Room was not clearly marked, although it was explained to me when I collected the keys. Would have preferred a name board like the other rooms in the property. Perhaps a small map would help as again it was explained but you tend to not be 100% sure if you haven't been there before...
- Adleigh (7/5): Will definitely visit again. - The location was great ... close to the sea. Very quiet and restful. Warm water capacity. The water gets cold quickly, then hot again after a while due to the boiler capacity.
- Lizel (10/5): out of this world stay! Feels like holiday - awesome location hidden between the bolders on the bay. Love the effortless style and interior. super friendly staff
- Zane (9/5): Superb - The place is perfect for solo travellers or couples in search of a delightful weekend getaway. Envision a hotel room with its essential amenities perched on the rocks, accompanied by the rhythmic crash of ocean waves and the refreshing scent of sea air. The view is genuinely breathtaking, and the venue provides a secluded and serene atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable and cozy. The combination of location, comfort, and mesmerizing views makes this place a fantastic value-for-money option. The occasional cold shower, especially for the person showering second, takes some getting used to. This appears to be due to a shared geyser with fellow vacationers, and Eskom's intermittent electricity supply also contributes to this issue. However, it's important to note that this issue didn't significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
- Terry (8/5): Couples retreat - Perfect location right on the small peninsula at the waterfront. Very private and almost exclusive to the residents on this peninsula. On a clear day, watch both sunrise and sunset over the water. Although relatively small inside, everything required is available. Cars are parked in a shed right outside the venue back door. A stones throw from the restaurants at the waterfront. The shower floor should have tiles and a shower door should be fitted. The gas geyser is shared with the unit next door and it will shut down if someone in each unit tries to use hot water at the same time. A thicker curtain is needed on the front door and windows for privacy at night.
- Candice (9/5): Superb - Just a fabulous loaction
- Bell (7/5): Good - The location was excellent - lovely views, very peaceful and within walking distance to most restaurants. The fact we had no hot water on our last morning but that was reported and attended to.
- Miranda (8/5): Very good - The location is one of a kind! We really enjoyed the finishes and the quality of the utensils provided. For a small place it was well fitted and we had everything we needed for the weekend. We loved the decor and style. We could see the place was designed with real care. The only real inconvenience we experienced was that we weren't given the wifi password right away - I had to contact the office the next morning to get connected. But after that the wifi worked perfectly.
It would have been great to have an indoor fireplace but the room is very small for that.
- Rehana (10/5): Exceptional - The original accommodation wasn't available and the hostess Sanet gave us a wonderful upgrade.
The accommodation was beyond my expectation. Stunning, clean and had everything we needed.
Paternoster Waterfront-beach front.Walking distance +/-2mins to coffee shop,Art Shed, restaurants and other shops. Short driving distance 5mins to dorpie - main beach where you will find fishermen bringing in fish/crayfish,restaurants and shops.
Busy but lovely little dorpie/town.
- Carmen (8/5): Very good -
