I sent an email to booking.com requesting a refund and absolutely no communication from them either. Please don’t use booking.com or book this accommodation. No communication from the property owner, When we arrived the security guard told us the property owner instructed them never to open for people that have booked his apartment which means he scams people with no intention of allowing them to stay at the property.

When I arrived on the 7th of August my flight from UK was delayed I send a message to Steve n the manager to inform him of the time of arrival with no response. Our flight was meant to land at 2:20pm in but it landed at 4:45pm. I got to the apartment around 7pm, the blankets and pillow cases were dirty, the walk in shower in one of the bedrooms was smelling with full of molds. The TV was not working, there were no enough water glasses, no kitchen knife , one of the bedside lamp was not working, there were coacroaches everywhere. He offered to move us but I was out of South Africa when he offered There was lack of professionalism and the attitude from Steven the manager and one of his colleagues Precious was not good. On the 21st of August a day before my departure Steven failed to provide me with the code to access the gate , I wanted to do my shopping for some of the things I wanted to carry with me but I was not able to due to not have access. I called Steven for nearly 3 hours including sending him text and voice messages with no response. I then used my mum's phone to call him, he returned the call on my mum's phone after 7pm because he did not know it was me . He never apologised for the inconvenience. On the 22nd the day we were leaving the apartment the gas finished before 9am yet out time to leave was 11am , we had to bath cold water. The previous day I had told him that the energy was getting low he said he was going to load it that morning I told him but he never did. We are a very clean family, and I travel a lot every place I book I treat it like my own. The experience I had on this place, I will never book here or recommend anyone The apartment is beautiful but it needs proper maintenance and proper management. I told Steven that I was going to write a review and I would make an official complaint due to very poor service he acted unbothered.
• Johan_L7 (6/5): Great potential, poorly managed - Spacious, well equipped apartment. Good security. Good quality mattress. Quiet complex and neighborhood. Free wifi. We only received 2 towels for our group of three. There were no cooldrink glasses, and only two teaspoons. The unit had a stale smell, and the dishes were not clean on arrival. There were no cover on the duvet. We never saw a representative of the guesthouse; upon arrival the complex security gave us the key, and that's it. Housekeeping is optional.

• Nompumelelo (10/5): It was okay. - The pictures don’t do justice, loved the luxury part of it, the area is not far from mall of Africa, it’s close to a lot of amenities. The apartment had a few cockroaches, probably saw three or more. The pool was not in use, the apartment was cold there’s no it conditioner, the host promised to bring a heater but we waited forever, there weee no wine glasses, no bowls and no extra blanket and we had a 2 year old child, it was cold the enemies weeekend.

The complex had also closed pool and basketball so my kids couldn’t go get some exercise and a dip in the heat
