• Elena Mirea (9/5): - Riad in una parte tranquilla della Medina, lontano dal super caos ma vicino alla Medersa Ben Youssef. Colazione super in terrazza. Hanno organizzato un transfer dall’aeroporto con accompagnamento al Riad a piedi (i taxi non possono circolare nelle strade strette della Medina) a un prezzo ragionevole considerando il nostro arrivo a sera tarda. La stanza era accogliente e pulita seppur un po’ piccolina. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile.

El personal no fue muy servicial al llegar. La zona algo solitaria por la noche para la estancia de una noche y conocer otra zona no esta mal.

• Laurence (8/5): - Riad de charme très près du centre. Situé dans une petite ruelle, il bénéficie d'une ambiance calme. Ayoub est un hôte à l'écoute et disponible. Les taxis ne pouvant accéder aux ruelles étroites, il nous a accompagnés à chaque fois jusqu'à la petite place où ils étaient stationnés. Lit ferme, spacieux et très confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux, préparé avec soin. Djamilla est une excellente cuisinière. Endroit parfait pour visiter Marrakech Quelques ajustements s'imposent, dont nous avons discuté avec Ayoub. Il ne s'agit pas de pénaliser l'établissement, mais il nous semble important de donner tous les éléments qui nous semblent importants à connaître. Chambre qui ne possède aucun espace de rangement, pas un problème pour un petit séjour. Odeur d'égout et d'humidité constante . Il faut bien aérer mais pas facile lorsque les températures sont fraîches. Le rooftop situé juste au dessus devra être équipé d'un sol isolant. Le déplacement des chaises en métal fait un bruit très désagréable. Enfin, nous vous deconseillons la demi pension. La différence de prix n'est pas justifiée: Le repas du soir ne consiste qu'en un plat unique, certes délicieux mais parfois un peu juste ( une simple pastilla par exemple). Nous ne doutons pas que des améliorations seront apportées par cette équipe pleine de bonne volonté

La connexion wifi est top et le petit-déjeuner, efficace. Nous aurions aimé rester une nuit de plus… Merci encore Ayoub.

Palydėjo iki taxi išvykstant, davė vaistų sunegalavus.Tačiau šeimininko paslaugumas ir pastangos buvo bene vienintelis teigiamas viešnagės dalykas. Taip pat buvo įskaičiuotas tikrai puikus masažas - masažuotoja atvyko tiesiai į kambarį. Visų pirma mus atvedė į kitą kambarį. Buvome užsakę ištaigingą numerį,tačiau gavome kitą,visai mažyti,kur nėra net kaip atsidaryti lagaminų. Šeimininkas bandė kažką aiškinti apie kažkieno klaidą ir pasakė,jog mums bus kompensuota. Kitą dieną jis mums užleido savo kambarį,kuris buvo kiek didesnis,tačiau vis tiek neatitiko mūsų užsakytojo aprašymo. Šis kambarys buvo labai drėgnas, pilnas pelėsio, nuo lubų nuolat byrėjo tinkas. Aš prašiau,kad sutartume iškart dėl kainos,nes aplinkybės mūsų netenkino. Tačiau tiksli suma vis tiek nebuvo įvardinta. Galiausuai išsiregistruojant šeimininkas pasakė,jog kompensuos 10€ už naktį, kas mane visiškai pribloškė. Šiaip ne taip pavyko išsiderėti didesnę kompensaciją. Tačiau tai tikrai nebuvo verta už tokią viešnagę. Į kainą buvo įskaičiuoti pusryčiai ir vakarienė. Pirmą rytą paprašėme paruošti pusryčius išsinešimui,kadangi vykome į ekskursiją. Šeimininkas pažadėjo palikti mums pusryčius virtuvėje, tačiau ryte nieko neradome. Vakarienės taip pat jūs negalėsite pasirinkti, valgysite tai,ką jums paruoš ir laiką derinsitės prie šeimininkų. Žodžiu, tai nebuvo tai,ko ieškojau,kai rinkausi riadą,kadangi turėjau ypatingą progą. Viešnagė buvo nuvilianti, sugadinta. Labai atvirai,Ayoub - Jūs turite labai objektyviai įvertinti savo galimybes ir teikiamas paslaugas, nes jos neatitinka sumos,kurios prašote už viešnagę.

Personnel jeune, très gentil et serviable. En demi-pension, repas du soir excellents. Petite terrasse sur le toit pour détente ou repas.

• Diana (7/5): Friendly host, but unbearable sewage smell - The host was very friendly and the room appeared to be clean, but unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience. The lighting in the room is quite poor, not as bright as it looks in the photos. However, the biggest issue was the unbearable sewage smell. The bathroom does not have a door, only a curtain, which made things worse. The smell became much more intense during the night, making it very difficult to stay there. Despite the nice host, the strong odor ruined our stay.

• Giacomo (10/5): Riad perfetto nel centro di Marrakesh - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido riad per due notti e l’esperienza è stata davvero eccellente. I gestori sono estremamente accoglienti, disponibili e attentissimi a ogni necessità, facendoci sentire coccolati fin dal primo momento. Abbiamo scelto di cenare in riad entrambe le sere e il cibo marocchino è stato ottimo, preparato con grande cura. Un ringraziamento speciale per la sera del 31 dicembre: nonostante il nostro arrivo tardivo, ci hanno aspettato fino a mezzanotte per la cena e ci hanno anche permesso di brindare con una bottiglia portata da noi, gesto non scontato e molto apprezzato. La camera era molto spaziosa, pulita e confortevole. Avevamo incluso nella prenotazione anche il transfer da e per l’aeroporto: l’organizzazione è stata impeccabile. L’auto ci ha lasciato nel punto più vicino possibile (le stradine sono molto strette) e lì ci aspettavano per accompagnarci fino al riad. Abbiamo inoltre usufruito del massaggio, davvero molto rilassante. Nonostante avessimo cambiato più volte l’orario, i gestori sono riusciti comunque a organizzarlo, facendo venire una massaggiatrice direttamente in camera: un servizio eccellente e grande flessibilità. La posizione è molto comoda, perfetta per raggiungere a piedi la piazza centrale. Consigliatissimo!

The place felt a little run down and unclean - there were some hairs in my bed and the blanket had brown stains, and mould on the wall in the bathroom.

• DARIO (7/5): 6.5 - Need improvement - The Riad is centrally located within the Medina, making it very easy to get around. Breakfast is okay, mainly sweet items, and is served from 9 a.m. onwards (you can request an earlier time). The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. There are no enclosed areas to eat, and our room wasn’t set up for in-room dining as there were no tables. This meant we had to have breakfast and dinner outside, either at the entrance or on the terrace, in 6-degree temperatures. No duvet, covering, or portable heater was provided, which made the experience quite unpleasant. We booked half board, which I strongly do not recommend. It includes only one dish per person, something that wasn’t specified online at the time of booking, and doesn’t include fruit or even bread. The shower water pressure is very weak, and the water comes out inconsistently. Cleaning could also be improved.
• Mathias (9/5): Great! - The Riad owners and the staff in the Riad were super-friendly. They picked me up from the taxi. They helped me out with the heating, they even provided a massage after a long day of walking in the mountains. I had a fabulous time.
• Sarah (7/5): Great staff, meals outside of breakfast need improvement - Rustic Charm in the Centre of Old Marrakech We stayed for a week in this simple but welcoming Riad in Marrakech Medina. The property was under new management and they worked hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Riad itself has basic facilities, but it’s an oasis of calm after the intense hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was excellent and it set us up for the day, but I recommend that if you want the full, all-inclusive ‘comfort blanket’, you’re better off staying in one of the resort compounds away from the city. However, you’ll miss out on the authentic Marrakech experience. We tried to be all-inclusive, but being vegetarian, the kitchen didn’t grasp what we could and couldn’t eat, we switched to breakfast only which the manager was agreeable to.

• Van Ngoc (10/5): The 3 guys really gave their all to provide you a pleasant stay at the Riad! - Ayoub, the tall guy with curly hair is the best! He was very supportive with the transfer and also gave me some helpful advice for Marrakesh and some day-trips. All in all I liked the stay at the Riad a lot because it was very central, very close to the Medersa Ben Youssef, max. 15 min walk to Jema el-Fna, 5 min walk to pick-up point for all available day-trips. Also there is a very tasty breakfast everyday on the rooftop. The service is also very good, the 3 guys always trying their very best. On my last day one guy got up at 6:00 a.m. especially to guide me to the transfer and helped me with the luggage. That was really nice!

• Eugenia (6/5): Personale meraviglioso - I ragazzi che lavorano nel Riad sono ECCEZIONALI. Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato lì da loro per 4 notti e non ci hanno mai fatto sentire soli. Ogni nostra richiesta era un ordine, ci hanno organizzato taxi, ci sono venuti a prendere di sera allo stazionamento, veramente impeccabili. Presenti dall’inizio alla fine. La nostra stanza, la matrimoniale Deluxe, ha un piccolo spazio dove c’è il letto mentre il bagno è abbastanza grande. Molto pulita. La colazione veniva servita da una signora molto carina, che stesso nella cucina giù preparava tutte pietanze tipiche. La strada, per quanto centrale perché molto vicino alla Medersa Ben Youssef, di notte è molto desolata. Non è possibile arrivare al Riad con il taxi, essendo all’interno della Medina e lo stazionamento dei taxi è a 10 minuti a piedi circa. Ammetto di non essermi sentita molto al sicuro di notte ma, come detto sopra, i ragazzi sono stati eccezionali in questo, ci sono sempre venuti a prendere nonostante le mille rassicurazioni che anche di notte nessuno ci avrebbe dato fastidio.

• Livia (10/5): A truly fantastic experience - Ayoub and his whole team made us feeling literally like home. Very much attentive and always prompt to each request that were ALL fulfilled in the best way possibile. A team that truly understand what guests need and desire. Our overall experience was much more then excepected. Breakfast was really satisfing, abundant and delicious. Rooms were well cleaned and nicely decorated as well as the whole riad. We enjoyed pretty much the whole ambience as we truly experienced the tipical riad atmosphere. Last but not least, everything was working correctly in the room. We really didn't want to leave anymore. Surely next time we'll travel to Marrakech, Dar Malwan will be the very first option among others. Very well done!

• Sharon (9/5): - Ayoub was a great host. He met us from the taxi stop (which he organized for us) and walked us to the riad. The accommodation was very quiet and peaceful with a relaxing roof top area where we had breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious traditional morroccon food and different both mornings. Ayoub gives you a traditional morroccon tea when you arrive which is very refreshing. The shower is old and bathroom/toilet has a half wall with a curtain but we didn't mind at all. Staying in the riad was a very pleasant relaxing experience.

The price was very fair for what was offered—the room was spacious, quiet, and perfectly located near all the main spots in the medina. Breakfast was generous and always set me up well for the day. But what really made the experience special was Ayoub and his team. They’re incredibly kind and genuinely care about making sure every guest feels safe and comfortable. Ayoub even helped me get my luggage to a taxi (they'll pick you up at the nearest door into hte medina) in the very early hours of the morning, making sure I got off safely and without stress. I’m really grateful for their hospitality—can’t recommend them enough! N/A

• Anita (9/5): I loved it. - Wonderful rooftop terrace. Very kind and helpful staff. Very nice room. Good location. As in many similar accommodations you can hear many noises from outside the room. The bathroom is separated with a curtain from the room, it might be an aspect to consider for some. For me as a single traveller it was perfect.
• Oumaima (8/5): It was a pleasant and unique experience. Thank you Dar Malwan! - I had a lovely stay at this calm and beautiful riad, which offers a truly authentic local experience. The host (Mr Khalid) was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay, always available to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was very good, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. However, I unfortunately missed it on the first day due to an unexpected issue at the riad. One detail that could be improved is the design of the room: the toilet and shower were inside the room, separated from the rest of the room only by a curtain rather than a proper door.
• Swathi (7/5): It was decent for a one-night emergency stay. - The rooms were clean when I arrived and I was offered tea and biscuits. The manager was polite and offered to pack an early breakfast because I had to catch a morning flight and helped me with the luggage. The location is in central Medina and can be found on google maps on foot. Good A/C and wifi in the room. We were trying to call the manager multiple times before arriving for the best spot for taxi to drop off and they never picked up. The taxi dropped me off at a distance (which would be the case for most riads in the Medina) but there were several locals who tried to take advantage by "showing" me the directions even when I said no and then demanding 400 dirhams! I had been in Morocco for 2 weeks at that point and I knew these tactics. I had gotten away with it before but this time the guy started cursing violently. Frankly this could happen anywhere in Marrakech I think, but it was my first. The locals made the area look unsafe when I first arrived but inside the riad was alright. The riad does not have a nameplate - at least wasn't visible to me. The bathroom pipes made gurgling sound intermittently at night.

Everything was thoughtfully done and exceeded expectations.
• Mircea (10/5): Amazing stay in perfect location - An excellent accomodation, it was a true pleasure to stay at Dar Malwan. Rooms are very nicely decorated, with traditional details, comfortable and pleasant. It’s very close to everything but on a quiet small street. I definitely recommend staying here. On top of this, Khalid, the host is just an amazing guy, very friendly and warm person!

• Jeff50sub4 (9/5): Marrakesh value and great location - The location is excellent - on a quiet street in the center of the souk. Easy to walk to anything in the area. The manager stayed up late to personally escort me to the hotel (taxis cannot drop at the front door due to narrow lanes). Finally, the wifi was great and breakfast was very substantial and delicious. It was also very QUIET - a nice refuge from the stimulation of Marrakesh. Highly recommend.

• Maxime (8/5): very good place to stay in marrakech.. make sure you have data to use your phone for directions - majid was very nice and polite, very helpful, a very nice trustworthy person the breakfast was not good.. the coffee was ok but the pancakes were like rubber and the fried eggs were not good. don't ask the paki's for directions as they will then folow you and demand money from you

• Resty (7/5): cozy stay in the center of Marrakesh - the central location, in the old Medina, was perfect as it's within walking distance to all the must see in Marrakesh. The alley didnt bother us as much. Bed was comfy and I also love the decor inside the riyadh, breakfast at the rooftop was also nice (vegan options available such as the traditional bread and jam), helpful staff room was considerably small for two people.

No name on door so not the easiest to find without google maps and even then I had to ask a local as it was just a normal door with a 3 above it

The riad is in a quiet location within walking distance of the main sights. The deluxe room didn't match the description but I believe this is being altered.

I only stayed in the evening time and they were so kind and packed me a breakfast since I had an early tour to Merzouga. I will be staying again in a few days. The room was gorgeous, roof top wonderful and relaxing 😌

• Lauren (8/5): Cute, Boutique Riad. - Really cute Riad in the centre of the Medina, a mix of new and traditional. Was cute. Breakfast was nice but same every day and was a lot of bread/pancakes - no fruit or salad, but lovely to have on the terrace. Absolutely no signage on the door and incorrect address on google maps. No contact from the property prior to arrival about finding the property. Its very easy to find once you know where it is. I think they need a sign on the front door and a detailed description sent to any one who books upon booking. Riad was nice but not as beautiful as many in the area.
