Wir waren wandern aber es half halt geregnet. :-) okay, - Toll gelegen.. direkt am Wasser und wenn man moegens aufwacht, schaut man direkt auf Wasser und die Berge. Der nächste Ort mit einem Coop liegt etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt. Keinerlei Beanstandungen.. es war einfach toll

• Theresa (10/5): A great place to enjoy the magic of Skye. - What a lovely little self contained unit with the most spectacular view which changed with the weather. It was the little extras that made it, the bottle of bubbles, fresh flowers and the Kellogg variety pack … a blast from the past. But the friendly chicken who came to say hi on arrival was perfect.

• Michelle (9/5): Secluded minimalist Skye getaway - We loved having a little secluded spot right on the water. We appreciated the welcoming treats left for us by Trina which makes self-catering much more comfortable. The pod is setup really cleverly and we enjoyed having snacks and simple meals both inside and outside overlooking the sea. As with most accommodation along the coastline here, you are situated just off a main road, so if you're sensitive to sound then bring along some earplugs for cars driving past. We found the location of the pod to be perfect for us. We visited the old man of storr, kilt rock, fairy glen and the fairy pools over our two nights on the Isle of Skye. The beds were comfortable and even though we did not need them (we were blessed with amazing weather), the hot water bottle and additional blankets were appreciated. It would have been nice to have just one little sharp knife for the kitchen, but that is literally the only thing I can think of.

• Sarah (8/5): Quiet, beautiful views, lovely time of the grid, easy access to the island for exploration - The pod was very cute with lovely views over the bay/loch. Tastefully decorated and with all things required. Host very approachable and kind. Romantic. At base of the 2 main routes for exploration of the Isle so good location. 5min from main town and shops with place to dine. Hard to find in the dark with minimal road signage. Close to road but minimal traffic during the night (stayed late spring/early winter) so not noisy at all. I summer imagine easier to find as can see pod from road.
• Stephen (10/5): A fantastic place to stay on the Isle of Skye - What a fantastic experience. The Sunset Pod was a great base to explore Skye from. So peaceful with great views and a perfect location. I really appreciated the warm welcome and all the hospitality, milk, cereals, cakes and a bottle of Prosecco to make the stay more special. I just wish I could have stayed longer!
• Jon (10/5): Cosy homely pod with excellent views. - Gorgeous little pod. Well kept and with everything you need. Clearly a lot of love has gone into keeping it nice and welcoming. It was so lovely (photos after we’d stayed 2 nights). Host was responsive and kind to us. The views are gorgeous and location is ideal for arriving onto the island via the Skye bridge. Broadford has all the amenities you’d need and the excellent Cafe Sia & Siaway which does pizza and pasta until 8pm. Portree is just up the coast as well, with the Fairy Pools only a short drive too. There’s nothing we didn’t like but it is a pod so it doesn’t have central heating. There’s a nice little heater and lots of blankets with a hot water bottle. It adds to the cosy adventurous vibes but factor it in. It’s a little hard to find the entrance at night, it’s worth familiarising yourself with it on Google street view.
• Ana (9/5): Relaxing time in Skye - It was a highlight of our trip to stay at the sunset pod, such a different place. Had everything you need and more details and small bites of food provided by the host. You wake up to a nice view of the sea. Depending on what you want to explore in Skye it can add to the travel (but it is worthy for the calm and relax you will get at the end of the day).
• Magnus (9/5): Superb - Excellent location by the water with, obviously, a nice unobstructed view. Nothing, really, however there is no real cooking possibility, except a microwave and a kettle and a toaster; you have to go a bit far to have dinner.

Loved the outlook - as you lay on the bed and looked out it was the most spectacular view. It felt like we were the only people there! We were grateful to have our own internet as there was none available.

• Anthony (10/5): Beautiful view and confortable pod for 2 - This is a great place to stay in Skye, with a spectacular view. Just read the description carefully and don’t expect a hotel. For us, it worked beautifully. The host is very warm, and I loved watching the rainbows form across the narrows. Restaurants are about 10 minutes away.

The views were stunning across the loch to the isles. The fridge had milk and orange juice in and there were two mini bottles of wine with glasses on the table on arrival. A nice touch.

• Cláudia (10/5): Perfect stay in Skye. - Everything was amazing, the host was very kind and left us a few warming welcome gifts that made us feel at home. All was clean and comfortable, plenty of towels and pillows. Nice parking space and easy to find. Private beach if you fancy a cold dip. But the most amazing thing was without a doubt the view, is breathtaking. (If you struggle with light while sleeping take a sleeping mask) That unfortunately is was only two nights.

• Joanne (10/5): Plan to stay again - The location was absolutely splendid, personal touches and we couldn't believe how spotless it was 👍🏻 There wasn't an ashtray for use outdoors and the only bin was in the bathroom. Those are the only things that we noticed which is more a point for the owner as I imagine some guests won't be courteous and will make her job easier upon cleaning on checkout.
