• jacopo (6/5): Buona accoglienza, ma diversi aspetti da migliorare - La stanza è ben arredata e curata nei dettagli. Il proprietario è molto disponibile e cordiale, sempre pronto a dare indicazioni e consigli utili. La posizione è abbastanza comoda per raggiungere il centro. L’appartamento si trova in un sotto scala e si sente tutto, soprattutto il rumore di auto e scooter che sembra provenire dalla stanza. C’è solo una piccola finestra, quindi l’ambiente è un po’ chiuso. Lo scaldabagno da 10 litri è davvero limitato: non sufficiente per due persone, fortunatamente stavo da solo. Il quartiere, pur vicino al centro, non è dei migliori — diverse persone del posto lo sconsigliano, e nelle vie vicine ci sono cataste di immondizia e oggetti abbandonati.
• Tessa (5/5): Unschöne Erinnerungen - Tolle Lage, kostenlose Parkplätze in den Straßen, etwas abenteuerlich einen zu finden, vorab hatten wir eine gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Geruch der Unterkunft trotz Bemühungen es zu verbessern - riecht miefig, schimmelig. Die Wohnung war nicht so sauber. Erst auf Nachfrage haben wir die Infos bzgl. Frühstück erhalten. Eine Dame hat uns zwei Packung Croissants gebracht, eine Packung Wasser, Milch und Saft. Wir wurden nach unserer Reise (1 Woche) sehr unfreundlich kontaktiert und man hat uns vorgeworfen zu viel des zur Verfügung gestellten Wasser konsumiert zu haben, die Toilette verstopft zu haben und uns versucht zu zwingen die Bewertung zu entnehmen. Dies wirft im Nachgang ein sehr schlechtes Auge auf unseren Aufenthalt. Ich würde hier nicht wieder übernachten.

• Jane (4/5): Disappointing, the apartment is cramped, noisy and smells like mould. - Good communication with host. Walkable to city centre. Terrible smell in the apartment, smelt like damp and mould. Cramped low ceilings, we were ducking down so we did not hit our heads. Continual noise from the pump working. Apartment location outside was dirty and an untidy alley with neighbour’s belongings everywhere.
• Filip (1/5): Would not recommend - The property had a convenient location and was advertised as pet friendly, which was an important factor for me when booking. The check-in process was straightforward, and the host was responsive to messages. Unfortunately, the apartment did not match the description at all. There was no parking as initially advertised, one bed was missing sheets while the other was stained, and the place smelled moldy with dehumidifiers placed in corners. The bathroom had a constant noise issue that could only be stopped by turning off the air conditioning, which was not disclosed prior to booking but after. The overall cleanliness and condition were unacceptable, and the host’s request for a positive review in exchange for a refund was highly unprofessional.

• Philippe (10/5): Super Vacances - L 'emplacement du logement, la propreté enfin rien à redire, voisin d'en face super gentil ,on a eu droit aux saucisses. Rien à redire.
• Ana (8/5): Clean and functional appartment - Staff super friendly and helpful. Apartment very well equipped amd clean. Sadly, we couldn't open the window at all times because there was a concrete mixer outside next to the only available window. We were not warned ahead about the construction work outside before arriving at the property.
• Andrea (8/5): The appartment was ok, according to the descriptions, but the tyre service opposite was disturbing - The appartment is not far from the city center. The equipment is enough for a few days. The host was supportive and quickly responding to any question, but unfortunately only in italian. In front of the entrance there is a tyre service. They were working early morning till late night. The worst was the air compressor, which was switching on-off continuously day and night. We could hardly get any sleep. I understand this is tyre change high season, but the noise was really disturbing. On the last morning the people opposite decided to cut a door/window hole on the wall. It was not what we have expected.

• Natasha (8/5): Nice short stay in Catania with excellent hosts - The basics were there, enough for a short stay. I was alone but the place can certainly accommodate more people and for them to spend longer times in the appartement (I mean, there is a dining table, a sofa, a tv - which I didn't use but is there). It wasn't my case because I went for academic reasons and I didn't spend a whole lot of time inside. Clean bed, clean shower, coffee machine with enough pods, spare toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc., etc., etc. The basics were covered. What I appreciated the most was the cleanliness and the responsiveness of the hosts (really, A+). They have put some work also in the decoration, so it's clear they want to create a cozy space. The city center is quite close (the main squares, restaurants, monuments, university....), as well as the beach. The neighborhood is calm. I came back late at night and had no issues whatsoever, even in the empty streets. Everything went ok, even if during the day, the streets do get busy, it does get a lot calmer at night. Lots of small stores around. Locals were nice and friendly. It could have some more kitchen utensils. There are some, don't get we wrong, and I could manage with what was there (a pot, a frying pan, cooking spoon, cutlery, etc.). However, since I prefer to cook my own meals (and leave everything clean), I did missed the lack of a chopping board, sponges, pot holders (or tea towels)... (Small stuff, but that come in handy).

• Marina (10/5): Wonderful place to stay! - This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life. The apartment was super clean, everything worked perfectly. The location is amazing, 10 min by feet to Duomo and city center. Catania Centrale - 20 min. I highly recommend to stay here! I didn’t feel safe to return at home on the evening but I’m a solo traveler. If you travel with company, it’s fine ☺️
