Guest Reviews
- Abhishek (9/5): - The Owners Sujit ji and his better half Bhabiji were so cordial, hospitable and courtrous. They tended to all our requests always with a smile. Location is away from the hustle and bustle of the main city area, the mountain view is superb, the food is delicious and affordable with regards to the quality and quantity. Also the room was cosy with all modern amenities and facilities with daily housekeeping. They also arranged for all our Sightseeing needs with Binod Bhai who doubled up as our guide and provided his car, him being a genuine gentleman who went out of his way to show us all the places some which were not even in the itinerary. A superb holiday. Thanks to all of you. Highly recommended π. Hope to see all of you again soon. Everything was perfect. Cheers.
- Menka (8/5): - Homestay owner couple ,,Sujeet and Rupsa are very friendly and helping. I really enjoyed with there family more that sight seeing β€οΈ home cooked food π awesome. Sujeet hospitality is beyond expectations. Would definitely recommend this homestay.
- Gauthier (10/5): The BEST place to stay in Kalimpong! - We have spent 3 nights there and it was amazing! The best accomodation we had in all 6 months we have spent in India!
The couple of owners is very nice and accommodating, we directly felt comfortable and like at home, the view from the terasse is THE BEST you can have in Kalimpong, it's such a quiet and peaceful place!
They serve breakfast (from 8 am) and dinner (the hour you choose) on the terasse if you want to eat there and it's delicious!
The bedroom is big and comfortable, the bathroom is convenient and tidy. It's 30min walk to the city downhill, but you can take a cab or walk, and - again - it allows you to have a exceptional view and incredible atmosphere there!
We regretted we booked our departure bus before arriving there, because we wished to stay longer if we could! It's definitely worth it to stop there! We will come back!
- Upadhyay (10/5): Enjoyable stay at Kalimpong in the laps of mountains - Homestay was homely. Family took excellent care of us. Humble Hindu family runs this. We felt very relaxed. Food was amazing. We enjoyed the breathtaking view from the balcony. The room was comfortable. In the laps of nature, the stay was memorable. Highly recommended.

- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - β We chose this homestay after reading many good reviews from people. We stayed there for two nights and two days in late May. The weather was not as pleasant as expected, but this homestay helped us ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay.
β The basic things like cleanliness, hygiene etc. are commendable. Paid packaged drinking water is usually provided. Free drinking water can be made available on demand.
β We have been served with instant and tasty food of our choice at an affordable price. We found the simplicity of the food reminiscent of home food!
β There are three rooms dedicated for homestay. The view of the mountains and the Teesta river from the room, balcony and dining space is extremely beautiful and relaxing. There was no unnecessary disturbance or interference while being in the room.
β Some reviews have pointed out the small distance that need to be hiked. The small distances that need to be covered on foot may be a little uncomfortable for some people, especially the elderly, but in my opinion it should be considered as a natural part of hill stay.
β The innovative entrepreneur couple and their adorable family have wonderful balance of polite professional behavior and emotional Nepali hospitality.
β Our experience was so good that we would like to stay there someday just to take a break from our daily routine and just relax, not for sightseeing.
- Anup (10/5): Awesome - Kalimpong is very close to my heart so this homestay. I have been there twice and it feels like home, food and environment is homely. Their behaviour is priceless. The view from the rooms and balconies are awesome. The rooms are very clean well maintained each and every thing is fine. I am suggesting everyone whom will visit Kalimpong, you can go for seven hill homestay without thinking for sec.
- Rumana (9/5): Superb -

- Sudipta (9/5): Excellent homestay - We liked everything. The view was amazing. We liked everything.
- Basak (10/5): Exceptional - We went for 2 nights and the homestay was beautiful. The staff were so kind and friendly. The food was exceptional !! π And the view was something that you look forward to, when you wake up and look outside the window.
Coming to this place you never really feel like you left home.
I would like to come and stay here again π
Also, the owners were so sweet with us. They gave my friend authentic Nepali radish pickle π₯ They were so sweet.
PLEASE CHOOSE THIS PLACE TO STAY IF YOU EVER GO TO KALIMPONG !! ------
- Raju (10/5): It was so beautiful & well experienced trip I have ever been conducted till date.. - The location was excellent. Food arrangement was so good which meet our expectation more than better. Overall behaviour, welcome & all other things were as good as like own family feeling. Need some alternative backup power while electricity was gone.
- Mandal (9/5): Very nice - Our experience at seven Hills homeπ stay was very nice. Staffs are also very goodπ we have enjoyed a lot in this place. Nothing
- Ishita (8/5): Very good -
- Tapas (10/5): Exceptional - I recommend this place to every family who wants to have a comfortable stay in their tour plan. The host is great . Food is great. View from the room is excellent. So totally recommend it for others. Liked it
- Mary (9/5): Superb - A bit difficult to find, we arrived late and got a great welcome. We shared the family meal which was great. This guest house has simple facilities and as a guest you are very much part of "the family". From a Nepalese background the host and his wife are very friendly and helpful. We could only imagine the view from the room, Alas it was hazy when we were there (end of winter). We should come back! We very much enjoyed Kalimpong. It is quite a walk to the center. We liked it but can imagine some other may find it too far.
- Priya (7/5): It was just a night's stay so it was ok - It was ok.I thought it was included with the room but it was charged.Had I known that earlier,I would have preferred to order a different one of my choice.
- Tathagata (9/5): Superb -
- Srimanta (9/5): Good - Staff's behaviour and view from room balcony. Room is not easily accessible from road.
- Sudip (1/5): Pathetic - Liked the view from the Balcony For that view, you got to live with the sounds of a rooster who is trying to wake you up from 3 AM, there are cows as well singing away from early morning and creepy insects all over the place. Bonus: No electricity from 10 pm to 8 am and no reason known for the same. Did I tell you about construction work yet, oh never mind, they are carrying out some extension work and construction material is all over the place. The hosts though tried their best to assist but the truth be told, its very hard to stay in such an environment.
- Ranjoy (10/5): Exceptional - You know how they say hotels are supposed to be "home away from home"
The hosts actually take that very seriously... The stay couldn't have been better... Amazing home food... The view is to die for!! Will take some time to find really, but it's damn worth it
- Subhadip (8/5): Very good -
- Shrayan (9/5): Superb - A very heartwarming host and his family who made all arrangements and truly made us feel at home. Location is somewhat inaccessible at night on foot due to absence of street lights.
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional - A very comfortable and clean stay at Seven Hills :) it's in a really nice part of Kalimpong where you can just walk down the road and take in the flowers, away from the hustle of the main town and with a really lovely restaurant nearby if you want a fix of international food. Kind family and the owner looks out for you. Would certainly return. It's tricky to find the place at first because it's below another homestay but once you get your bearings all good :)
- Prakash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uchwash (10/5): I will be back Soon. - It was just Superb. Excellent hospitality. Host was very much friendly and we discussed about so many things. The mountain view from the room was nice. Thank you Rupsa di (Host) for mouth-watering foods. She was always concerned about my stay and always called me Bhaiya like it was my own family. Truly Homestay experience.
Thank you Mr. Giri and Rupsa di.
Take love from Bangladesh.
