• Agnieszka (10/5): To było wyjątkowe przeżycie! - Zamek to miejsce wyjątkowe. Magiczne. Gospodarz a właściwie gospodarze przemili i uczynni. Zamek jest na odludziu ale to właśnie czyni go wyjątkowym. Blisko jest do drogi. Najbliższe, przepiękne miasto Trebinje oddalone jest 10 km. 5 km od zamku położony jest stary monastyr. Znakomite miejsce wypadowe np. do Mostaru. Sam zamek a właściwie baszta jest pięknie urządzony. Leży nad samą rzeka. Na dziedzińcu jest basen. Bardzo dziękujemy gospodarzom za ich gościnność. Gorąco polecam to wyjątkowe miejsce. Malutki minusik za brak ekspresu do kawy ale właściwie to drobiazg.

• Jake (10/5): Spectacular castle stay! - What a privilege to stay in our own castle! Aleksander and Lulu were great hosts… there to welcome us and show us around when we arrived! It really is a special place.
• Janet (10/5): Iconic building modernized to a high standard. Great host. - The location was special but the building even more so. I loved the bed, too, to be fair. There was nothing to dislike about the castle. We felt special.

• David (10/5): Stay in a wonderful converted castle! - The building is an amazing converted castle. It is spacious and comfortable, and very much off the beaten track which is what we wanted. There is not much to do on foot from the castle, but the city of Trebinje is only 15 minutes away by car and it has supermarkets, restaurants, a market with local products, bakeries, churches, a beautiful old town, a disused railway tunnel, and a river with a lido, walks and bridges. At the property there is a private courtyard garden, a small swimming pool and scops owls flying around the garden! The host Aleksandar was friendly, extremely helpful and responsive. The three shower rooms are great and the house has a washing machine and good-quality, tasteful fittings throughout. We would love to return one day. There are no curtains in the bedrooms. This didn't really bother us. The stairs are open plan and perhaps not suitable for toddlers.
• Mustafa (1/5): Bad - The idea of booking a stay in a castle The place was infested with bugs of all kinds. We contacted the property to notify them and to process a refund (as we paid in cash) they refused. We were staying with 2 babies and felt the property was not kept clean for us to safely enjoy our stay.

• Boris (10/5): Unique, one-of-a-kind place!!! - It's a unique, one-of-a-kind place for those who love peace, tranquility and solitude, as well as those who want to explore historical sights. The feeling of being in a medieval setting but with all the comforts and privileges of the 21st century is amazing. The kind and warm greeting from the owners, ready to respond to any question or inquiry you might have; the clean, organized rooms with attention to even the smallest detail - it was like out of a dream. The evening sounds, surrounded by the "fortress" walls, a good drink and company makes you feel unique. We visited it during the most unbearably hot week of July, but the stone walls somehow protected us from the summer heat. The only thing we regret is the fact we didn't book a longer stay. Nothing to mention here!!!
• Ljubinka (10/5): Heaven on earth! - Our stay at Villa Bilja was extraordinary! It was a privilege to stay in a 15th century castle that has all the modern necessities that one needs. Waking up to birds chirping outside is definitely something that you don’t get to experience every day. The host, Aleksandar made sure our stay was great by being there to answer all our questions. Definitely one of our top stays and we hope to be back. We charged our batteries in this heaven on earth. Everything was perfect
