• Briony (9/5): Great to catch up with a friend from school days. - It was near the station. It had a nice open keg then dinning room Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable Bathroom was great Cutlery didn’t seem clean but maybe it had just come out of the dishwasher as it was also a bit damp. Maybe water stains? Although there were only two of us we would have appreciate a few more plates and general kitchen items. The floor above was very noisy. The guests there clearly were not doing anything wrong, just walking about, but the creaking floorboards were so loud. Both nights it went on for ages, not late, 10.30pm maybe, but I’m sure they were just going about their business. The floors need carpet maybe as even a soft guitar playing from them was quite intrusive. It meant it took awhile to get to sleep but did not ruin our trip. Still a lovely place to stay.

• Logan (10/5): Really beautiful and lovely flat, would love to return on our next visit! - Beautiful flat in a great location! Kitchen is spacious, rooms comfortable, bathroom clean. The option to sit in and play lego star wars after a long day of trotting around was appreciated, haha! The flat is in a lovely area, but it is at the top of a reasonably steep hill - absolutely not a problem for us, but worth bearing in mind for other visitors. Only slight negative was a lack of clarity on which of the three lockboxes the key was in - we spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to open the wrong one near the floor before realising there were two more on the other side. Oops! Says more about us than the property for sure, but knowing there were several lock boxes would have helped us look a little less foolish :')

Nice big dining room so other family members could eat with us. Lots of space in the apartment. It was nice and warm. Couldn’t find a toaster. Couldn’t operate the TV but I am rubbish with technology!

It has everything you need for a short stay in a super fun city! - Amazing location, very close to the station and conveniently on the way into the town centre. Nice big living room / kitchen diner. One large bedroom, the other much smaller but adequate for our three night stay. Nothing! An extra mirror or two and coat pegs would have been helpful - the latter as it was rainy during our stay.

I asked the owners two different questions during my stay, but they didn’t answer either of them they only sent me automated messages on the day of my arrival and on the day of my check-out.

• Lillian (9/5): The flat was true to its description, great location, comfortable with a lot of amenities. - Nice neighbourhood. Restaurants and pubs in addition to the train station were relatively close by. We liked that there was coffee available to us and little biscuits to give us a bit of a head start on the day. Also, as we were travelling it was nice to have access to a washing machine. Although the beds were comfortable and the linens as well, the pillows were hard and rubbery. It would have been nice to have some others to choose from. Essential oil diffusers were a little over the top. Perhaps fewer of them in more strategic places.

Quiet location, but with easy access to central Brighton. 10 minute walk from the train station. Extensive facilities in apartment. Great host with excellent communication. Very minor points. Shower could have been cleaner. No mirror in 2nd bedroom. Couple of champagne glasses would be nice
• Martina (10/5): Exceptional - The most comfortable bed and pillows. I seriously need these at home! 😍 The flat overall was fantastic: well-furnished, tastefully decorated, and super comfortable. I absolutely loved staying here 🥰 The location was decent, a bit of a walk to the beach, but very close to the train station, which was incredibly convenient for our Sunday early morning departure. There was some noise from renovation work at the house next door on Friday, which was a little disruptive, but understandable. Thankfully, the weekend was peaceful. The earplugs and thoughtful apology note were a really nice touch 💜

The beds are big but the mattress' are way too soft, 1st night I woke up several times having pain at my back. Next nights I needed to sleep on the couch.

• Heidi (10/5): A gem! - A gem! Quiet street, close to the train station, a couple of pubs and bottleshop around the corner, and 15-20 minutes walk to the Lanes and beach. Soft beds and powerful shower. Shame we couldn't stay longer! The second bedroom was too small to fold out our suitcase, and not enough hooks.

• Fiona (6/5): Good location! - Location, 7 mins from the Station and 10 minutes walk to the sea front. Entrance to the apartment was scruffy and dirty. The foam pillows were like rock and the bed linen felt cheap. The apartment was advertised as newly renovated, it may have been but not recently, it felt like it needed a refresh and a good clean. It was also noisy from the tenants upstairs you could hear all conversations.

• Claire (8/5): Great location, just missing a few things that travellers need to make it a perfect stay. - Great location and nice spacious living/kitchen room. No instructions for how to work heating and no help from the owner/property manager. No space in the second bedroom for anything but a bed - we had to leave our suitcases open and on the floor in the living room the whole time, which wasn’t ideal! Kitchen is lovely but could do with more pots and pans - only one pan and one frying pan making it difficult to cook a decent meal. No coat hooks so had to leave coats on the back of kitchen chairs the whole of our stay. This property is just missing a few touches that would make it a perfect stay.
• Steph (9/5): Lovely spacious apartment in good quiet location. - Great quiet location. 10 mins walk (uphill) from everything. Large kitchen diner. Clean and plenty of plugs. Could do with mirror in the smaller room. Communal area/hallway was a little untidy but not really a problem as once you were in the apartment it was lovely.

We didn't need any of the facilities apart from the bathroom and a bed (literally) but greatly appreciate the availability for the price. We liked the bed, but the in-laws found theirs too soft. Personal preference I think.

Not that I didn't like anything, however extra pillows would be good. A mirror in the 2nd bedroom would be great. Towels were on the small side but manageable.

Will be back for sure! - I liked the extras such as excellent coffee maker and pods, fridge freezer, playstation 4, games, books and TV with streaming service. Washer dryer with stuff to wash your clothes. The best beds and pillows I've have slept in ever away from home. Would of liked a small 2 slice Toaster as using the grill in the oven is probably fine for some people however I have back problems which meant bending to toast bread was not easy and was uncomfortable.

• Pauline (9/5): Perfect for a stay in Brighton - Perfect location just 6 minutes walk from the station in a quiet street but close to the centre and the sea. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed, including a Nespresso coffee machine, and it was warm, which is very important for a January break! The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. Instructions to access the keys were clear and emails were replied to promptly. Don’t be put off by the entrance hall and stairs which are a bit ‘sad’ but, I imagine, not within the owners control. Once inside the apartment it’s immaculate and nicely furnished.
