- Michelle (8/5): Stunning Sunsets over Loch Fyne - We loved the location the most, peaceful, wonderful sunset across the Loch and mountains. Lovely little loch walks.
The dining/breakfast room was bright and overlooked the garden.
The house was generally well equipped and comfortable. The oven was a little temperamental to use and the spot light above the shower was flashing.
- Katrin (10/5): - Gemütliches Haus mit tollem Ausblick. Es war alles vorhanden was wir brauchten. Unkompliziertes Check-in. Wunderbar ruhige Lage. Wir waren rundum glücklich.
- Alfred (8/5): Good for the price - Location and views A bit tired in places

- Derek (9/5): Great cottage by Loch Fyne. - Location near Loch was great.Area was very quiet.property was clean and cosy. Nothing at all to be honest except..perhaps more instructions on how fires work.
- RB (10/5): Lovely, peaceful stay at Picturesque Beauty of Strachur - Warm, comfortable, very well equipped property with bright airy rooms. Plenty of hot water and good shower. Fantastic views from the house over looking Loch Fyne. Quiet, peaceful surroundings and a great location for exploring the area. Many thanks to the owner for the milk and cake we found on our arrival, it was very much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our wee break.
- Kirsten (10/5): Nice For a Break - Peaceful, had everything we were looking for. The weather was pretty rubbish but can't do much about that!

- Stephen (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Strachur - Convenient, clean and lovely views
- Iain (9/5): Brilliant house, family friendly and welcoming. - The location was brilliant for visiting family. The log burner was a huge asset to the home. We liked that it was dog friendly and there was a nice garden space. Also really appreciated the cake that was provided. There was a good number of logs for the burner provided and the local filling station had more for sale when we ran out (we loved using the burner)! Lots of space in the home. Bedroom heaters were not the best, and the bedroom with single beds would get quite cold, however there were small fan heaters that we were able to use. Would still go back as everything else was good.
- Phani1526 (10/5): - A truly peaceful stay by the lake. The cottage was cozy, well maintained, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Waking up to calm waters and enjoying quiet evenings by the lake made this a perfect place to relax and unwind. Would happily stay here again.
- Stephen (8/5): Loved the area , especially the Clachan Bar - Very clean and tidy No internet, very very difficult to find, it wasn’t right on the lock , it was a house behind a house. Bed wasn’t that comfortable
- Lorraine (10/5): Perfect stay in a great location! - Facilities were great. Views from all rooms. Peaceful location. Just what we needed after NC500+ trip!
Home made scones were a lovely thoughtful surprise 🙂 Noisy pipes when using cold water taps, but not a major issue!
Clearer directions to the property would be helpful, but owners sent us a video that helped.

Good location for exploring. Saucepans need updating
It clearly states there is no WiFi. Not an issue for us but could be for some.
They provide plenty of DVDs to watch.

- Mel (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful - Location, comfort, layout, decor Noise from boiler when using any hot taps/shower just needs air removing
- Janet (8/5): Great location and brilliant accommodation - Great location, just perfect inside, lovely touch having fruit loaf which was delicious. I forgot bag with essentials but didn’t need it as tea, coffee and milk all there x
Kids loved toy chest and dvd player No remote for dvd player unless we couldn’t use it properly
