- Tracey (10/5): Everything you need and more from wonderful hosts - Arrived to find fresh flowers in a vase, milk and breakfast ingredients plus fresh bread and a bottle of wine. We were very comfortable and the hosts were wonderful, even giving us some of their own honey. They were so helpful and kind, the perfect hosts It’s right on a busy road (which you don’t really hear unless in bathroom)
- Lesley (10/5): - Fantastic property and stunning location. Would highly recommend it.
- Newby (10/5): - The stable was the best experience we ever had it had all the things we expected and more I would recommend this property to anyone extremely happy and would definitely stay here again the hosts couldn't do enough for you they were brilliant Nothing the stay was excellent
- barry (10/5): - A unique and tranquil setting with everything catered for. Would highly recommend. Will def return👍🏼
- Guest (10/5): Perfect- a home from home in a superb location in the Kent countryside! - This place is an absolute gem. We stayed here for 7 wonderful days, and it was the perfect home from home- it genuinely felt like a home from day 1, not just a temporary place to stay. The feel of the Stable is just right, with everything you could possibly need in a perfect place to explore the Kent countryside- easily within driving distance for days out to Whitstable, Dover, Hythe, Canterbury, and Margate. The owners are truly lovely people with excellent recommendations for the local area. Spotlessly clean and with all the facilities you could ask for. Couldn’t ask for more! Nothing- genuinely can’t fault our stay!
- adowen68 (9/5): Will definately be back! Thank you to -
- Guy (10/5): Immaculate property, very comfortable. - Lovely property, very well appointed and super welcome pack including home made bread and granola, wine and all you would need for a full cooked breakfast.
- David (10/5): Excellent holiday home. - Very clean and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely stay again.
- Paul (9/5): Just right - Unique, quiet and lovely
- Peter (10/5): We loved our stay at this superb property. - So very comfortable, with all the comforts of home. A superb property finished to a very high standard. Located on the fringe of a quaint village, it’s within easy reach of Canterbury and other attractions around Kent. Lisa and George are truly the most wonderfully friendly and generous hosts. We absolutely loved our stay here. A twelve out of ten from us. Not a single thing. Nothing to fault.
- Gareth (10/5): An excellent stay in an ex-donkey stable that had been refurbished to an exceptional high standard. - Welcome pack provided , which was both excellent and comprehensive. The property was one of the best we have stayed in for years with the owner seeking to provide a facility that would meet your every need Entry and exit from the property was a bit tricky due to narrow roads.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Very Clean
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (10/5): Warm and relaxing, a great way to spend Christmas! - The Stable has been very tastefully decorated, to a high specification. The decoration, neutral creamy shades, ( although a bit scarey with a dog , in winter), gave a luxurious feel, and gave a feeling of spacious living. Nice features as in the alcoves in the bedroom, and the original wall make it interesting, and of course, Nellie loved the viewing window.
The beautiful illuminated deer, and the lighting outside.
The dog waste bin 👍 There wasn’t anything
- Nigel (10/5): A fantastic modern place to stay and to come and go as you pleased the hosts where fantastic - The property was exactly what I wanted it to be and more, away from the madding crowds, (city life) Nothing
- Michael (10/5): Amongst the best accommodation we've ever stayed in - The Stable was finished and furnished to a very high standard and very clean. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The welcome pack was amazing (even the dog got one). Nothing
- John (10/5): Peaceful overnight stay - Really enjoyed our stay , great host and very friendly
- Andrew (10/5): The perfect peaceful refuge; highly recommended - Excellent communication from hosts, with helpful tips for the area. Received a lovely welcome basket on arrival with some locally sourced goods. The whole property was SPOTLESS and has everything you need (MORE than you need!). Very quiet and peaceful area. Wildly impressed! We spoke about the property stay for a while and we agreed that the only thing that could be improved would be to have a shaving mirror in the bathroom. That’s it. The place is otherwise impossibly perfect. If we have cause to be in the area again, we’d book The Stable without hesitation.
- Donna (10/5): Perfect location for the wedding I attended at Preston - Everything was easy, the host called me on the day to tell me about a road closure, the instructions were straight forward for access, they came to say a quick hello after I had arrived to make sure everything was okay.
- Lucy (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - Beautiful stable conversion , lovely decor , high spec fixtures & fittings. Set within a private picturesque area with a great outdoor sitting area- equipped with cushions & umbrella- The sitting area got the sun in the afternoon/ evening which was lovely to sit in after a long day of walking/ exploring the local area. Very generous welcome pack including fresh local produce to cook a full English breakfast along with some homemade granola which was delicious . Beautiful hand picked flowers from hosts garden on table on arrival . Lovely to meet host - Lisa when we arrived. Communication prior to stay was amazing, so helpful & thorough. Comfortable bed. Plenty of storage areas in the bedroom. Nice coffee machine. Everything was amazing.
- Pablo (10/5): Beautiful, clean, good value, friendly owners. - Beautiful setting, incredibly clean, really well equipped and comfortable. Feels really private as it’s within its own grounds. The owners couldn’t do enough for you, really friendly and helpful. Lots of space to park right by the property, immaculate grounds to spend time outside. We went when it was 32 degrees, while we had fans, the room being on the top floor was incredibly hot, so much so my wife and 3 month old slept downstairs that first night. This isn’t a knock on the property, it’s not normally that hot in England! Just something to be aware of.
- Jayde (10/5): Just amazing! Lovely hosts who came and introduced themselves when we arrived. Quick reply to any querys. Lovely welcome - Everything! Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Joanna (10/5): Wonderful stay in charming period but newly refurbed cottage - Super immaculate and clean, wonderful treats left for us so we could make a lively full English breakfast, outside seating area with lively view, comfy bed and beautifully decorated. The hosts were super friendly and we will definitely stay again x x We liked everything!
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): An absolute gem in the Kent countryside - It was simple, clean and self contained. Beautifully decorated and furnished. There was nothing not to like!
- Christine (10/5): The ideal place to go and get away from the hussle and bussle - loved it! - Absolutely loved it - was immaculately clean - everything here was spot on- very generous welcome pack - all facilities high spec. I am the first to admit I am fussy when it comes to accommodation but this place excelled. Lisa and George were lovely and nothing was too much trouble - it is obvious they take real pride in what they do. I have no hesitation in recommending this place (the Granary opposite looked great too). Was ideal for us for a 3 day break with to young puppies in tow who loved running about in the grounds. Thank you. n/a
- Belsey (10/5): Fantastic find - Stayed here for two weeks. Can't recommend this gem enough. The hosts were fantastic, the place itself was private and quiet and full of quality details. Great walks for those with dogs, central enough for the towns if that's your thing. Personally I enjoyed reliving my childhood visiting all the nearby villages. I certainly will be going back!.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Katy (10/5): An amazing stay at The Stable ! - We loved our stay at the stable. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, quiet, peaceful, bigger than expected, spacious, warm, cosy and had everything you need for a short stay! There was plenty of storage space in the bedroom, and the bathroom was also a good size. Our hosts went above and beyond and provided an amazing, extensive welcome pack with fresh local produce, which was great and such a nice added touch- Thank you! They were also very lovely when we got lost on the way there and were very helpful. We cannot fault anything about our stay... it was amazing and we will definately be coming back to stay here again this is such a gem of a place to stay :)
- Gillian (10/5): Thoroughly recommend a beautiful little gem of a place - Beautiful place to stay very clean and comfy . Hosts were lovely dealt promptly in communicating with us . The best welcome pack we have ever had all of it very very nice . The grounds private and lovely shame our visit was November and didn’t get to sit in the lovely garden ! Would definitely recommend this place to stay . Everything was perfect
- Isabel (9/5): Great find - It's a gorgeous little cottage. Interaction with the owners was really good. The welcome pack was really special, and the coffee machine was a real treat.
It's within easy reach of Canterbury, Whitstable, Margate, etc. A good base from which to explore that part of Kent.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - The owners are amazing! Warm, welcoming and so very thoughtful. We stayed in such a lovely, new, super-clean space where every detail was perfect. They considered everything we would want or require. The “welcome package” was by far the most generous we’ve ever had. The building did start as a stable but it’s been reinvented into a stunning boutique apartment. We thoroughly loved our stay and highly recommend it. everything was perfect!! loved it all.
