• David (8/5): 4 night stay - The overall hotel was a nice design with a lovely pool and lounge areas that were always clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and provided local recommendations and the breakfast was very good with lots of options. We also enjoyed front row seats of monkeys from our balcony on one of the mornings. When we arrived there wasn't anyone at reception for about 5-10 minutes or any sign of staff but I appreciate we arrived around 6pm. Our room was quite small as well and there were ants in one corner of the room, next to the balcony doors but that was only an issue when we arrived and given the location, somewhat expected!

Zeer behulpzaam personeel. Mooiste hotel van de 6 die wij in Costa Rica hebben bezocht. Kamers waren erg vochtig/klam. Restaurant had niet alles op voorraad.

Super arrogantes, a fazer um frete para estrelar um ovo e nem sequer sabem cozinhá-lo! As condições de higiene das coisas ao pequeno almoço foram péssimas, como podem ver nas fotos que anexo! Torradeira um nojo completo e as caixas dos cereais completamente sujas.

• Franziska (8/5): Schönes, sauberes und gut gelegenes Hotel. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und den guten Service. - Das Frühstück und die Lage des Hotels waren super. Wir haben leider ein veraltetes Zimmer unterm Pool bekommen, was wir nicht gebucht haben. Dennoch konnte man ganz ok im Doppelbett schlafen zu zweit.

• Celeste (10/5): A beautiful getaway near Manuel Antonio - The hotel is a short walk to Manuel Antonio park, a beach, and several restaurants. The staff, specifically Arnoldo and Celeste, were very helpful, informative, and nice. They helped us with booking a few tours and helping us out when we arrived late from a tour. The breakfast was good and there is a restaurant onsite where you can get lunch and dinner for convenience. The room was very clean, had a beautiful spacious balcony for seating which we enjoyed, and the added bonus of air conditioning. There is also a city bus that drives from Manuel Antonio into the town of Quepos that has frequent pick ups and drop offs to help you get around. Just keep in mind walking alongside the roads around the hotels and restaurants in most areas is not very safe since you are walking along cars. However, this has nothing to do with the hotel. Nothing.

We saw a lot of animals around the hotel, we regularly met monkeys on the way to the beach. The beach is a 3-5 minute walk, the national park is a 5 minute walk. The staff was very nice, they took great care of us, were attentive and helpful with any questions we had. Thank you! We highly recommend the place, I would say 4 stars for its quality. The room is spacious, pleasant, well equipped, the bathroom is beautiful, the hotel itself is very elegant.

• Pia Maria (8/5): Good hotel in 5min walking distance to Manuel Antonio NP and the beach! - Fantastic location! 5 min walk to either the beach or the main entrance of Manuel Antonio. Many restaurant options in walking & driving distance. Super friendly Staff! Clean room and amenities. We saw Monkeys, iguanas and a sloth right in front of the hotel. Hotel is a little older. We would definitely recommend the hotel, only 8/10 because it was a little pricy for the standard & comfort in the room and in general. Breakfast starting at 7am is a little late if you‘d like to go to Manuel Antonio NP as early as possible (don’t forget to make a reservation for the park or book a guided tour days-weeks in advance).

Bien reposé pour reprendre la voiture et continuer le road trip. Un peu chère pour le pays mais on s y repose bien.

• Dirk (8/5): Nicht preisgünstig mit kurzem Weg zum Nationalpark - Wir hatten in der zweiten Nacht, das von uns gebuchte Zimmer. Das Zimmer war recht klein, aber mit bequemen Bett. Dazu eine Balkonterasse mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten und Vorhängen für Schatten und Privatsphäre, sowie eigenem Leguan. Der Leguan rannte zumindest mal kurz vorbei. Das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben erst in der zweiten Nacht das gebuchte Zimmer bekommen.

• Alan (9/5): Memorable three day stay - The hotel is very well presented with an old worldly charm. The location is excellent as is only a short walk to the beach and to the Manuel Antonio Park. Since it is so close to the park, the hotel had daily visits from some of the local wildlife, especially the white faced monkeys. The staff were super friendly and very helpful which really made our stay enjoyable. Maybe a few more breakfast options would have been nice but I really can’t complain since the breakfast we had was really good.

The location is fantastic, being within walking distance of the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park was awesome. The grounds are beautiful and the bird watching in the morning was really nice. The facilities are somewhat outdated, and the breakfast was underwhelming. Our room was extremely loud, we could hear the washing machine, and the kitchen. For the price paid, the facilities should definitely be updated and a bit cleaner. the bathroom smelled as well.

• Leonardo (10/5): Melhor opção na região de Manuel Antonio! - A equipe do hotel foi muito atenciosa conosco, os funcionários que lá trabalham sempre de bom humor. O café da manhã atende às necessidades de qualquer pessoa tendo diversas opções tanto de comidas típicas quanto de internacional. A localização é maravilhosa, ficando a poucos metros de caminhada tanto do Parque Nacional quanto da praia de Espadilla. As acomodações são excelentes e aconchegantes. O restaurante do Hotel, além do café da manhã, também conta com menu para refeições. Este eu acho que tem oportunidade de melhora com mais variedade principalmente pensando em comidas mais internacionais.
• Lucinda (8/5): - The location is great - perfect for the beaches and national park. A lot of restaurants in the vicinity. Arnoldo was very friendly and looked after us well. We booked the Manuel Antonio park tour available through the hotel and found it to be the best one we’ve done so far in Costa Rica. The room was a great size and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The pool was also really nice and a great view point to see birds and monkeys around. Wifi wasn’t great - sometimes it dropped - but it was fiiiine. Rooms are not super quiet as the walls are quite thin but it isn’t a huge problem. And the breakfast was somewhat average - better if you get down early or there’s not so much left.

• Thaís (7/5): Convenient location for a short stay - The location is amazing, 3min walk from Manuel Antonio Park and 3min walk from the public beach Espadilla. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is good but pricey comparing to nearby options. The room is very uncomfortable. Besides being too small for a family, the windows have no blackout shades. Also, there’s a glass motif over the door that brings all the surrounding light into the room. Definitely not the night you’re wishing for after a full day of activities. Breakfast was too plain.
• Robin (4/5): Underwhelming. - Het is goed gelegen in een zijstraatje van de weg die naar het natuurpark loopt. De kamer is klein en is volgepropt met grote meubels. De klerenkast is niet te gebruiken om dat mijn shirts niet passen. De spiegel in de badkamer hangt scheef en reageert op handgebaren.( dus ook als je je haar aan het borstelen bent. Ook een sfeerlampje of gedimd nachtlampje ontbreekt.

Les transats sont confortables et la piscine en hauteur est un plus. Le personnel est sympa et serviable. Les chambres sont petites. Pas de rangements pour poser ses affaires (surtout à quatre) Le restaurant n'est pas terrible et le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré.

They were always available to us and spoke very good English. I thought the all inclusive breakfast was good. Location was brilliant. In our particular bedroom the mattress was very soft. OK for some but it didn't work for us. The room was a little small but it led on to a balcony.

• Helle Seerup (9/5): Vi havde nogle dejlige dage på hotellet og ville gladeligt vende tilbage hvis vi kommer tilbage til CR. - Hotellet ligger i 4 minutters gåafstand fra stranden. De fælles områder er hyggelige - og poolområdet fint. Der er aber omkring hotellet og indgangen til Manuel Antonio-nationalparken lige rundt hjørnet (obs husk at booke billetter). Personalet var venlige. Der manglede plads til afsætning af kufferter på værelset og belysningen er knap så hyggelig som det øvrige hotel. Værelset var dog pænt og rent.

• Amanda (9/5): The location was spectacular, easy to access the beach and national park. - Breakfast was delicious and staff were very accommodating. Location couldn't be beat. The pool was very nice. The glass shower in the bathroom didn't block water from the faucet when in use and sprayed water all over the bathroom floor. Even with facing it right against the wall the floor was constantly wet. The nightly price per night was a bit high.

A una cuadra de la playa espadilla norte y a 2 cuadras de Manuel Antonio. Cuentan con toallas libres por depósito de 10 dólares. La zona es muy agradable y tranquila. T gestionan los paseos.

• Mario (8/5): Perfekte Lage zum Nationalpark - kein Fast-Internet - eigentlich zu teuer. - Die Lage zum Eingang Nationalpark (ca. 300m) ist perfekt, zum Strand ist es auch nicht weit. Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir kamen vormittags an und konnten unser Auto schon am Hotel parken, mußten uns nicht den vielen nervigen Parkplatz-Wächtern abgeben. Hinweis an alle Parkbesucher: lasst Euch nicht am Ortseingang von windigen Guides und Parkplatzanbietern reinlegen - es gibt am Parkeingang 2 große Parkplätze, ohne daß man einen Guide buchen muß. Die Aussage: "wir haben schon einen Guide gebucht" hilft immer, um durch das Straßenlabyrinth zu den richtigen Parkplätzen zu kommen. Das im Angebot angegebene Fast-Internet ist nur in der Lobby verfügbar, nicht auf dem Zimmer. Das war ärgerlich, da wir auch unterwegs arbeiten und das für uns hier ein entscheidendes Buchungskriterium war. Deshalb Komfort und Ausstattung Abzüge in der Bewertung. Der Zimmerpreis ist reichlich überteuert, hier wird wie bei allen anderen Unterkünften in Manuel Antonio die Lage und Knappheit ausgenutzt.
