- Stephen (3/5): Apt with a serious problem - This was an adequate small apartment in a very good location in town. For the price per night, this seemed to be a good find. The apartment has a few drawbacks, one of them very serious. There are a number of things in this low cost apartment that were just inconvenient, like a shower with no room to move or bend over, a refrigerator with a door that did not close and an extension cord in the kitchen that was seemingly not working, so I could not use the coffee maker. Also, the host did not leave information about the Wi-Fi, and when I messaged, it took them almost a day to get back to me with the wrong information. When I called, they actually did not know the password, and had to guess. I eventually got on. However, the great drawback is that it is a basement apartment and for some reason the condo put up a steel cage door on the basement stairs. So you need a key to go in AND OUT of this basement apartment. You are literally locked into the basement, and if you don't have the key, you are not leaving. THIS IS NOT SAFE and should be illegal if it's not already! It is certainly inconvenient since the cheap lock doesn't even work very well!
