• Kenneth Joy (10/5): Fantastic hostel with great staff, clean facilities, and a friendly atmosphere. Everything was well - I came to Langkawi Village Guesthouse for 3 nights and ended up staying 7. That says it all. Affordable, peaceful, safe, and just steps from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Huge thanks to Nanda and the team for their genuine warmth and hospitality. The dorms feel surprisingly private and comfortable, and the people I met here made the experience even more special. Without a doubt, one of the best guesthouse experiences I've had in Langkawi. No complaints. Everything met or exceeded my expectations

The stuff was suuuuper friendly and they introduce you to everyone, very kind people! Also they are really easy going The facilities also really good, and a kitchen with them if you want to cook your own food. Really worth for the value of money

Seriously!!!! besides Rohmat was a plus… who was always super fun and a sweetheart, helping and giving tips and even sharing some delicious food with me! He was amazing without a doubt! And Nanda was also super sweet, always concerned about whether I was okay and with a smile on his face! All of them, actually! So much so that I ended up extending my stay a little longer! The location is perfect, close to everything, beach, restaurants, shops, literally everything! I recommend it and would definitely return!!! 🥰

Personal divided spaces within the dorm together with your own light and fan are a good feature & beds are comfortable. Dorm was quiet making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Can hire scooters or book trips from the hostel You could barely feel the AC in the dorm at the night, although I found the fan sufficient.

• Petra (8/5): - It was a short yet nice stay in Village hostel, pretty private concept, considering it's a mixed dorm - you have actually your own tiny room, which is separated from the others with a curtain and so you really have your own little space, not only bed. The facilities are ok but all is more like in half outdoor concept which doesn't have to suit to everyone, for me it was ok! :) The location is just perfect, 5 min walk to the Cenang beach and all the shops in that Main Street. You can also rent a bike or book a trip through the hostel. The vibe is really chill and friendly! :)

• Johannes (10/5): Very pleasant accommodation, had all you need and the price is unbeatable. - Great accommodation, very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and helpful, good vibes. Pantai Cenang Beach and street are very close, yet you don't really have trouble with the noise from in the hostel. Had a bed and some kind of your own room, it's a lot of privacy and space for a hostel with that price. Bed was kinda comfortable and curtain to the window kept the light out kinda well. The AC was not completely able to keep up with the outside heat, it was kinda warm. There is also a ventilator above your bed, but it causes good noise when turned on, so bring earmuffs with you.

In the dorm, you actually have your own little private space, which gives you a lot of privacy and comfort. The staff are incredibly friendly, and it’s very easy to connect with other guests staying there. The host, Huis, is absolutely amazing and is always happy to help with any questions you have!

• Airplane_mode (10/5): Nice guest house, Value of money, Very nice host - - less than 10 minutes walk from Chenang Beach - Various restaurants, cafes, bars, and hypermarkets (such as duty-free liquor sales) can all be moved within 15 minutes on foot - Use a single bed and protect privacy with curtain for each bed, and provide a fan and power outlet (Plug Type G) for each bed - Guest House rules after 10:30 p.m. Turn off lights and quiet - "The Village Cafe" near the entrance to the guesthouse sells meals, coffee, beverages, etc. - You can rent a scooter every 24 hours, and the rental fee is cheaper than other rental stores nearby and is a high-performance scooter - The rental scooter is a Honda Vario 125 model (125cc Liquid Coupled Engine with eSP) that can easily drive all uphill in Langkawi (new product 4 months old as of September 2025) - Legal scooter rental is possible if you have a motorbike driver's license (required to obtain a 2종소형면허 for if you are Koreans) and an international driver's license (required to be stamped in column A) - You can take out various types of canned beer (RM 5~) from the refrigerator in the guesthouse anytime and pay for it - Before coming to Langkawi, I spent 4 nights and 5 days at the Kuala Lumpur Condominium, which has better facilities, and the satisfaction was much better here - The locker is large enough to fit a backpack and comes with a lock for free, so it is convenient to use the locker - Cold and hot water come out well in the shower. - Two mirrors and two sinks outside the bathroom - very friendly host - I want come back to here again oneday. - Since the shower room and toilet are not separated, there may be a waiting time depending on the time of day when there are many guest.

I liked the common area where people can hang out. The host Nanda is very friendly and helpful! Location is superb, it's like 5 minute walk to the beach and to the promenade where all the shops and restaurants are located. Everything was to my liking!

Je recommande si vous voulez être en dortoirs pour payer moins chers et rencontrer des gens mais au calme et avec - +++ La localisation à 5 minutes de la plage et de l’avenue principale avec tous les restos, les magasins, bureau de change, etc. +++ Le personnel est super gentil, amical et aux besoins. Idem pour ceux qui logent là. +++ L’intimité malgré que ce soit un dortoir !! Incroyable d’avoir son propre espace entre deux murs. Vraiment incroyable. Surtout quand on bouge d’hostel en hostel sur une longue durée... +++ Serviettes fournies, possibilité de mettre des trucs au frigo, de cuisiner, de se poser à l’extérieur. ++++ Le fait que j’ai pu rester à l’hostel toute l’après-midi à attendre avant d’aller à l’aéroport et que j’ai pu prendre une douche malgré que j’ai checked-out le matin. En fin bref, tout était super !!

It is hostel but everyone has own space so felt like private room. Most of all i liked the vibe of hostel whenever you come to place there is always nice people around table to talk to. • Fatima Ezzahra (10/5): Simple, calm, clean and Close to the Beach. - Very close to the beach, and it felt like I had my own private room, the dorm is clean, calm and has most of the things you may need, the bed and the pillow were clean and comfortable, and I liked that I had my own fan to use if I needed, all the people in charge were so helpful and kind, especially Mr. Nanda for he gave me good suggestions about where to book my ferry and bus tickets, and I liked that he and the guy in the reception asked me from time to time if I am okay and if everything is fine, because as a solo traveller you rarely hear that. It was all good.

The owner of the hostel is so lovely and gave me lots of help and advice. I loved that there was a shared kitchen and that you can rent scooters from the hostel. There are nice brekkie places a mins walking distance away too which was really nice! Overall, 10/10. Would recommend anyone to stay here :) Nothing.

Pero hay que destacar la amabilidad de Huss, te facilita las cosas y tiene un carácter alegre, un valor a tener en cuenta al tomar tú decisión querido viajero. Nada que decir.

Respect for silence. El baño: El cable de la ducha era demasiado corto y para lavarte la cabeza tenías que agacharte, bastante incómodo hacerlo y tener la cara a 2 centímetros del váter. No había fregona para quitar el agua después de la ducha. Por lo que si necesitabas orinar te mojabas los pies. The bathroom: The shower hose was too short, and to wash your hair you had to bend down, which was quite uncomfortable, with your face just 2 centimeters from the toilet. There was no mop to dry the water after showering, so if you needed to use the toilet, you’d get your feet wet.

• Emily (10/5): - Originally booked 3 nights, but ended up staying more than a month, like most people The owner Nanda, his friend zus and zain were super nice and lovely. They gave a lot of recommendations about restaurants, tours and other activities in the surrounding area. We even sat outside almost every night and chatted or played cards. They provide a whole kitchen with microwave, water spender, fridge and and and. The dorms are completely quite and it really feels like you have your own room with an own fan. Bedsheets were clean and mattrasses and pillows, were thick and comfortable. The location is quite perfect, since you only walk 3 minutes to the beach and the main street with many shops and restaurants, but you still cant hear any noises. Definitely one of the best hostels I stayed in so far and a total recommendation
• Mark (10/5): The Place To Stay - Owner obviously really cares about us, and ensures we have a good time. This is the sort of place you stay a bit longer and rest up if you have been travelling too quickly. I came for two nights, stayed for six! Location is a minute's walk to the beach and main road for restaurants, etc. so perfect. The dorm feels like a private room, or there are real private rooms. As a solo traveller there was always somebody in the garden common space to have a chat or a coffee/beer with. The dorm was full, yet with the style of the place, I almost never even saw anyone in the bathroom/toilet so definitely no waiting for a shower. Nothing wrong, but as a hint be sure to confirm the address to the Grab driver. You will get a message from owner explaining how to do this. This is because there is another accommodation with a similar name, and you don't want to go there. 😀

• NATALIA (10/5): - Мой второй опыт хостела после 2017 года в Амстердаме Всегда снимала отели В этот раз после 2х месячного трипа по Азии и Индийским Гималаям условно говоря захотелось к маме) Прочла здесь отзывы, что место не обезличенное, домашнее и забукинила кровать В итоге получила отдельную комнату за шторкой, где все очень функционально, кухню с более чем полным набором посуды во дворе и там же уютные беседки, приятных соседей и папу Нанда с его верным другом и помощником парнем, который следит за чистотой в отеле Было очень уютно и комфортно Пляж в 5 минутах, расположение в центре Есть нюанс - кондиционер включают только ночью Если планируете днем находиться в хостеле - может быть жарковато С удовольствием вернусь еще Хозяину отеля Нанда и его верному помощнику спасибо!
