- Nicky (10/5): A perfect place for a little break, away from the hustle and bustle of life. We will defo be back soon. - It has two good sized bedrooms and a lovely kitchen dinner for just perfect for our little family. I joked with Tracy it needs a full length mirror and maybe a small table and chairs for breakfast time as there was 3 of us and only two seats at the breakfast bar.

- David (10/5): Lovely welcoming property in a beautiful part of the world! - Lovely property in a quiet village. Very clean and the garden was a particular bonus with the wonderful weather. The hosts were fantastic and sincerely care about their guests. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area and would recommend to others. Nothing.
- Steve (10/5): Very good -
- Genevieve (8/5): Lovely property, would stay again if the wasp problem was sorted. - A lovely , cosy apartment. We felt very at home there. Beautiful garden , great for our little girl to explore. The washing up brush was completely worn and should have been thrown away a long time ago. I had to rewash all the bowls, cutlery and glasses with our own clean cloths. There was also a significant wasp infestation. This was a worry with our very young children ( age 4 and 4 months). Many wasps were flying in and dying on the carpet so we had to make sure we kept our shoes on to avoid getting stung accidentally by standing on one.
- Amanda (10/5): Fantastic property in the heart of Hodnet - The accommodation is fantastic, a very large 2 bedroom bungalow with a large lounge, kitchen and garden. The host met us at the door and showed us where everything was. The property is decorated and furnished to an excellent standard and the kitchen was so well equiped. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the shower was lovely. Though we only stayed the one night this would be fine for a week. Parking was right outside the door, the bungalow is located on an incredibly quiet back street with no passing traffic or people. Hodnet is a lovely traditional English village with beautiful old gardens and houses and is a short walk from Hodnet Hall Gardens.
- Nikki (10/5): Everything ya need, home away from home - Everything Leaving
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Hone from home - It had everything you needed.
Lovely views of the garden.
Comfortable beds. Nothing
- Kathryn (9/5): Pictures very accurate, but much more space than expected - This would be a great place for a longer stay - lots of space and easy parking, in a quiet location. Liked the lounge, especially the accompaniment of various birds that came to inspect the bird feeders (especially after a downpour!), quite close to the sliding doors. Couldn't work out which wifi source was the one for connection initially, but did in the end.
- Ann (10/5): Peaceful little haven - Much larger than expected, 2 bedrooms so perfect for my friend and I. Lovely quiet location and the garden was an additional bonus. Liked everything but just a minor suggestion that coat hooks in the hallway might be a useful addition.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tozommul (10/5): I wish we could stay longer at this property - It was clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (9/5): Home from home - Very spacious beautiful property and garden. In a quiet location close to several destinations. Was lovely there was little extras didn’t need to take anything was a home from home , Owners were lovely and very helpful
- Chona (9/5): A cozy place. - We only stayed one night, but we found the place peaceful, comfortable and clean. We couldn't fault a thing. Checking in and out was easy and straightforward. It has two bedrooms and everything all on one floor like a bungalow, so it's great for those who don't want stairs to climb. And Tracey the owner was helpful. Nothing.
- Natalie (10/5): A comfortable, beautiful experience. - The Smithy was a home from home experience. Very comfortable, everything you need, and a beautiful garden to sit out in. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming. The location was also beautiful. Altogether a fantastic experience and would 100% return.
- Helen (10/5): A really nice place to stay. - Everything you could need. Comfortable, lovely and clean.

- Katrina (10/5): We loved it and will hopefully get to come stay again! - It was relatively easy to find and we got there in the dark. Key retrieval easy. A lovely well presented house all on the ground floor, and a nice looking garden, though we didn't go in it (it is january). Very clean. Good WiFi. Very good shower. Comfy beds. Lovely bedding. Easy parking. Great size living room with smart tv. Great kitchen set up with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, kettle and airfryer!
Important for us with a 2 year old, we could control the heating so it was always comfortable and our daughter slept well. The boiler was slightly noisy in the kitchen but that is it!
- Dawn (10/5): Comfortable - Lovely location ... warm and comfortable.... modern ... great value small little hiccup the oven and kitchen may of been missed a clean ...but going by the rest of the property this was probably a one off mistake and shouldn't put any one off booking ...
- Arand (10/5): Come again cottage - Everything Nil

- Claire (10/5): A hidden gem - A hidden little gem! Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We only wish we were staying more than one night!
- Aoibheann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): A well equipped cottage that you immediately feel totally at home in. - It was well equipped, clean & and pleasure to stay in. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the property and it ticks all the boxes from the guest point of view. Being ultra picky it could do with a reading light on either side of the bed, but there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Angus (8/5): Very comfortable - Clean Location
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - Really great garden and it was clean and had great kitchen facilities and lovely shower room. Also a parking space right outside. Really good pub close by called fox and hounds which served delicious food. Suggested by the hosts and they were right!
- Jaime (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place , lots of facilities , milk left in fridge for us on arrival which was a nice touch
- Nicola (9/5): Mostly we just used the property as a base to sleep as we were visiting family that lived nearby. It serverd us well. - It was a well equipped property in a quiet location.
It smelled nice, there were soft blankets/throws and cushions available in both bedrooms and living room. It felt cozy and cared for.
It also had its own garden and drive to park the car in.
- Julie (10/5): Already, planning my next stay. - Everything! Beautiful property everything perfect.
- Julie (9/5): Short but relaxing - Excellent, very modern. And lovely garden, relaxing Nothing
