• Nicola (4/5): You get what you pay for. - Room was comfortable enough but when I arrived late at night the whole house smelt of cooking and spices and was a bit much to be honest and found it difficult to breathe. Had to sleep with the window open. The smell.

• Marylee (7/5): B Homestay - Excellent location, good walking distance from the town centre and there's parking if required. No drinking water was provided and there wasn't access to a kitchen to get some.
• Angie (4/5): It was very disappointing. Could be a really nice place to stay with a clean-up and makeover but not - The owner responded to my request for a feather or soft pillow and provided me with both which I really appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. The owner seemed really considerate and helpful and I felt very safe which is important to me as a woman travelling alone. It was dilapidated. The important surfaces were clean (I think) but the underneath and edges of things looked dirty (they could have been marked and stained rather than actually dirty). For example, the shower mat was marked/stained and the skirtings and underside of the sink etc. There was no kettle or drink-making equipment so no cup of tea or coffee. I've really put off writing this review because the owner was so nice but it was very disappointing. I do have photos but I won't post them because with a bit of work and paint, new shower mat etc it would be a great little place to stay.

• Georgi (1/5): Bad - Room and facilities were directly and smelly. The bathroom had mold, and when really unhygienic. Easily the worst accomodation I've been.... Liked nothing. Very Very poor and disappointing 😞.

• Alison (8/5): Very good - A quiet and safe residential street but still close to the town centre. The supermarket round the corner had a cafe hut serving hot breakfasts. If you're not from kent have a sausage sandwich - they're Hoads original korkers.

• Andrew (7/5): Good - The bed was comfortable. Fridge with milk and water much appreciated. TV good. Location not far from river and restaurants etc. on-street parking for weekend nearby. Easy checkin. Bathroom wasn't great. Shower electric very sensitive to smallest change. Seemed like a lot of cleaning products on display.
• Niamh (8/5): Quiet and central location for a short stay - Great location - could walk to the high street in 10/15 mins. Quiet residential street with no disturbances during the night. The room was clean, bed was comfy and we were provided with bottles of water/coffee/tea. The bathroom is quite small - which was fine for us, but some may want more space in the shower as it was a bit of a squeeze.

• Wilkins (7/5): Basic but comfortable. - Good location and access was easy, was a comfy bed and was quiet , host was lovely and polite. The property could do with a good paint and updating , but for the price it did the job.

Bed was comfy, extra - Self contained - Double doors with Yale locks and my own door lock. Nice and warm 😁 Fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. Cereal, cereal bowl and microwave also in the room. Hot chocolate, tea coffee etc. Extra toilet rolls, cleaning supplies and toiletries. The driveway to park 🤣only because it was steep 😆

Perfect place too stay if your team got Maidstone United FC at the Gallagher stadium. Lovely walks along the river and so many shops, pubs and restaurants so close by. Fantastic host who even left me a tray of breakfast and coffee. They even wrote me a birthday card. How thoughtful. Will be back when we play Maidstone FC again. Thank you.

• Abiodun (5/5): Okay for a short stay - Can’t really say much about the property because got there late into the evening, was very dark and only stayed one night The shower was not working so could not shower, the room was very cold, the heating was not on by the time I was leaving. The towels were very old and the floor towel dirty. The kettle had a lot of scale inside. The house very noise from the people upstairs

• Kaur (10/5): It’s like home from home - I find this property adequate for my needs is situated in a desirable location close to town and amenities. I find the landlord has very good people skills and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and provide anything that is needed to fulfil your stay. We have enjoyed our stay at this property so much that we have returned a few times I would continue to return in the future. The room is clean it’s quiet there’s nothing I would change or advise to change as it fulfils all her requirements

Great access to the centre of Maidstone and excellent communication with the host, thanks. The room could do with blackout curtains as too much light comes into the room too early.

• Jodi (1/5): HORRIBLE! Paid for another room. - This place was a dump in a questionable neighborhood!!!!!!!! The place looked rundown from outside. It was in a questionable neighborhood. We took two different taxis because we couldn’t believe anyone would try to rent us that place. Location was far from city center. Tried to call company and ask question. They did not answer or return calls. Pitiful customer service! I would never recommend staying there to anyone!
