Guest Reviews
- Rachael (3/5): Not the best experiences. - The property was a good size and the kitchen was nice. The property is 15 walk from a station.
Quiet at night. The property isn't really in the Paddington area. Not sure where to start, Upon arriving at the property the front garden was a mess the property looked run down. ( Not a stylist apartment) When going in there is a damp musty smell. Having looked around the size of the place. We quickly realised that we couldn't open the shower door as it was broken, and the other shower screen just let water go all over the floor. There are carpet moths in the apartment which can be easy killed with a bug bomb. But there was dead moths all in the carpet. The draft excluder to the front door is a piece on cardboard. On the last day we cpuldnt use the shower or have a brew at all as the water was brown and freezing. The property was not what we expected and when sending a complaint to the company they have ignored our message.
- Simon (7/5): Good -
- Aisling (9/5): Excellent, spacious , clean & safe - Clean , secure & quiet , great location Non Refundable on date changes
- Mark (9/5): Superb - The location is walkable to many different tube stations and bus stops as well as Paddington Station, Lord’s, and Portobello RoadA variety of small grocery shops are close by. The beds were exceptionally comfortable Small en-suite in one bedroom and shower over bath in the main bathroom
- Lisa (6/5): Spacious but in need of some TLC - Spacious living room, big TV, big sofa, two good-sized rooms, bus stop 2 minute walk from the house Everything is a bit used (drawers, front yard…), uneven floor, doors always close by themselves with a loud slam, kitchen could use some more pots and cutlery, closet space was taken up by laundry bags of the property.
- Margaret (4/5): Never again - Comfy beds large living space Smell of damp musty. Shower door wouldn’t close in en-suite dirty walls need repainted. Kicker board off kitchen part. View behind was disgusting . Tv wouldn’t work an no instructions how to get wifi no code available, one battery missing from remote. Couldn’t find property google maps bringing us to 80-90 Elgin avenue and when contacting Sloane group made me feel stupid and kept saying 84 as if I didn’t know that. They then lost patience and said no more they could do and told us to ask on the street. Cleaner never showed to property til after 3
- Aleksandra (9/5): Superb -
- Amaralnto (7/5): It was ok for the money we payed. Please try to be more clean. - Very large apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. 30 min to soho by bus or metro. 10min nearer metro station.
We liked the existence of 2 bathrooms. It could be more clean.
The main bathroom had a blocked bath. Water could not go away. I fixed it alone.
You lost 2 rate points for cleaning and 1 for the problem in the bath.
Moreover you could offer a EU charge adapter for EU clients.
We had to buy them for 10 pounds each adapter.
- Nastassia (8/5): Very good -
- Anastasios (9/5): Superb -
- Pippa (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely wonderful apartment. Spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. There is everything you need here, and it is super modern. Location fabulous, with little more than a pleasant 10 minute stroll to Maidavale tube station. Ana, who hosts this property, was amazing, so helpful to any queries we had, even sorting out a late check out for us. We have stayed in many apartments in Maidavale, and this was by far the best place! Would highly recommend staying here, and will be booking again very soon! Thanks for a fantastic time in your lovely home from home apartment. Nothing, it was all spot on!
- Steve (5/5): Passable - The apartment was nicely appointed and relatively comfortable. The entrance from the street was terrible. It looked like a slum building. Overgrown with weeds. Filthy and chipped paint. Loose and broken tiles.
- Angela (8/5): Good location, but maybe do some homework on where to go and how to get places ahead of arrival. - Location was okay once we'd had time to walk around a bit. One end of the street felt a little dodgy and unsafe when we popped into the local mini-market for initial supplies, however the other end was fine.
It was an easy enough walk to the train station (thankfully not the dodgy end of the street!) to catch the underground everywhere (we were 2 stations from Paddington Station). Apartment was also within walking distance to Little Venice where you can catch a little boat to Camden Market.
There was plenty of space in the apartment and the couch was big and comfortable. There wasn't any booklet with information of where things were (ie. the closest train station; buses to main attractions; supermarket; restaurant recommendations, etc).
The hot water in the ensuite stopped working for a day, so we all made do with sharing the main bathroom.
It would have been nice to have had a couple of coffee pods to use with the coffee machine that is in the kitchen upon arrival, and because there was no booklet in the property, we didn't know what pods we had to purchase or where to purchase from. Very, very disappointing considering the ridiculous price of coffee in London and the poor quality available.
The indoor clothes-horse to dry your clothes is cheap, flimsy and broken so we had to use the dining chairs to hold up the clothes dryer in order to hang our clothes.
There was also a lot of handyman and other stuff in the apartment (ie. ladder, paint, tools, old prints/frames not hung, lots of old mail) which didn't make it feel like it had been freshly cleaned and set up for our arrival
- Binta (8/5): Very good -
- Song (8/5): Very good -
- Taskeen (9/5): Superb - Location and accessibility and space
- Jiarui (7/5): Good - We couldn't find the hair dryer. The host bought a brand new one and arranged same-day delivery. We really appreciated that.
Kitchen is clean and tidy. The shower door cannot be closed properly and water kept leeking out when I was having shower. Bed is too soft for me.
- Mariana (7/5): Good valie for money. Location is ok. - Pretty big for London standards. The living room was quite spacious.
Neighbourhood was calm, while not fully in the center it was not too far. Price was quite good for London. No metro station close. Both station around 12 minutes away. Transportation with buses. There was a bit of boise from cars at night as the appartment was on the ground floor. The appartment was a bit old, so when oppening and closing doors there was some noise. This is very normal for London, however.
- Molina (7/5): Clean old apartment - The property is located in a very quiet and nice neighborhood. It has a generous area plenty of space for a group of 3 people. The bathrooms and kitchen are fully renovated and modern. The apartment was very clean. Communication with the host was quick and informative. The apartment is 90 minutes by car or train from Gatwick and also far from downtown London.
It is a very old construction so even though the bathrooms and kitchen are renovated it has issues like any old house: the wooden floor creaks and squeaks. The doors shut on their own but don’t close.
The master bedroom bathroom is minuscule.
Also in the master bedroom, there is not a blackout on the windows, it only has a very thin white curtain which makes it hard to sleep in, The same for the living room which can also be used as a room if you want to sleep on the sofa (not a sofa bed)
- Tolu (8/5): Very good - Entrance and ‘garden’
- Georgie (8/5): Very good -
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Home from home - Everything about this apartment was amazing it was literally home from home couldn't fault it at all
- Kamilė (10/5): Great getaway from London to London - I had an amazing stay! I made a last minute booking due to a leakage in my flat and the host could not have been more accommodating and helpful. This turned out to be a perfect getaway for me and my partner! Highly recommend.! Everything was perfect
- Saurabh (10/5): Had a lovely stay, flat was centrally located close to multiple train stations. Spacious and modern throughout - It was very modern and clean N/A
- Denis (10/5): Home away from Home - This place does not feel like a place you are staying overnight, it feels like HOME ! I really loved the location, its size and facilities that it provides ! The host is really nice as well, nothing seemed too much of a trouble ! Thank you N/A
